The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Plusy: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Minusy: "It may be La Guardia Airport that is the one to blame and not AA, but long story short I was on the airplane on the ground in NY for about 5 hours. We had a domino effect of things happen that caused us to be delayed and then cancelled. First a Gate change to a different terminal after boarding was suppose to begin so we had to take a shuttle over and we're still missing 50 passengers, Engine problem that required maintenance, refuel because we were in the plane on the ground waiting for so long, deplane and replane for 10 mins because of a law, on the runway and back to the gate for all these different occasions. When they finally let us off the plane after all these hours it was because of weather (although the skies were blue and the pilot was confident it wouldn't be an issue) they didn't actually cancel the flight until 5pm, my flight was suppose to take off at 9am. They were also required by law to give us free snacks Bc we hadn't eaten all day or had fresh air--these were all chips and soda...in gluten free so I had to starve. AA customer relations said they couldn't compensate because the issue that was documented in their records for my flight cancellation was because of "weather"... my flight couldn't be rescheduled until the following afternoon, making me have to cancel work 2 days in a row and pay for multiple taxis and and extra night of boarding. I will NEVER fly AA or La Guardia again."

This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Minusy: "Terrible food and entertainment on the flight to and from Santiago. Felt squizzed like a sardine in the can in the middle row. I will never choose Boening 777 for overnight flights. Transfer in Toronto was confusing. Delayed arrival caused problems in retrieving luggage and made a stressful experience getting to Chicago flight on time - not mentioning sluggish US border check in Toronto. For my next trip, I would rather pick another airline and transfer airport."

Plusy: "The only person who who tried to relax customers waiting to board was the pilot. Flight was delayed. No updates on monitors, no crew at desk. The pilot was first to arrive and had no information but was engaging and joked with all the passengers just standing around. He was our only assurance that flight was still going. He had same attitude on the plane and seemed determined to get us home eventually."
Minusy: "No communication from airline. The flight was delayed but we only find out because we show up to gate and nobody is there. No counter agents. When they eventually show up, there is no explanation. Just acted like everything was normal."

Plusy: "The crew was so attentive and respecful! Kept pouring wine as we wanted (without saying a qorf or requesting it) this is how business class should be. I love air canada business class. Super hyper recommended. Food was ok, in spite it eas a short flight. Crew was very very nice. ❤️"

Minusy: "I thought Comcast service was bad. This was the worst. They cancelled my flight at the last minute, then escorted all passengers out of the gate, told us to go through customs then pick up our luggage. And said we had to call to arrange another flight, but the phones just left a message saying to call back in a few days. I was stranded with no phone, no hotel, and no flight home. Three days later, I still cannot get in touch with them."

Zero entertainment options, save for BYOD which didn't even work for me - never was able to watch more than the first 30 seconds of anything, provided it would work at all. Also the film selection, had it worked, was wretched. Food was bland even by airline standards. Flight was delayed. I'm used to sleeping on these flights, even flying economy, but these seats were even more cramped than I'm used to. Perhaps all this would be forgivable had my flights been cheap, but no - it was about the most expensive trans-Atlantic flight I've had in recent memory."

Had no idea that I would need to request this, so I did not have dinner on the flight, as the meals were either chicken or beef. At this point in the 21st century, a meatless diet is a widespread life choice, for either ethical or health reasons. I would really like to see a pasta option as a default. Thanks for taking feedback."

Minusy: "Boarding process was a bit slow and started late, making our flight delayed, which made us miss our connecting flight."

Minusy: "Boarding by zones is an excellent idea; but it does not work very well. Peole still making lines and standing in front of the gate when their zones have not been called out. Making boarding very difficult and confusing."

Minusy: "At check in the ground agents were slow and uncertain. The lady who was training them was not friendly. She said 300 pesos or 25 U.S., and when I told her to charge my visa in pesos, she said it was going to be charged in U.S, which comes out to more. She never gave me a receipt for the charge. When she was checking my boarding pass and passport, she didn't even look at me or acknowledge me."

Plusy: "The crew tried hard to give me more salad and bread since they didn't have a vegan option and meat was mix with the hot meal."
Minusy: "In order to have a vegan or any special meal they ask you to call 48hs before. I've done online but the site I used for booking didn't pass the options requested. Then at checking counter they can't add it not even the return flight. This option should be able to be added anytime! Then why they can't put the meat aside for the hot plate so at least we could eat the rest. Also when preparing vegan or vegetarian meals you can just give cookies and cakes or white pasta! Any meal should be balanced, as for vegen meals it also have to have some vegetal complete protein combination."

Plusy: "It was about as good as you can hope for in cattle class. Middle seat in the bulkhead row is not worth paying extra for."

Minusy: "I didn't go on my trip. My course in SF was cancelled and United would n't refund my money or change the dates for my trips because of there basic economy package. They have 3 different economy packages and the economy basic doesn't get refunds and you can't change the flights if needed. It feels like they are banking on increasing there ROI with this basic economy ticket which is 40 -60 dollars cheaper than the next economy package. Intuitively they know people will pick that, but if something comes up the customer is screwed."

Minusy: "I flew with 1 child and 1 infant and there was no help, not at check in, not at boarding nor from the crew on board. I requested a bassinet before the flight over the phone and didn't get it. There was an issue with the infant ticket and the United check in agent was incompetent to fix it, which made us late for boarding. No one helped me at boarding with taking the stroller from me. On board the crew members were annoyed when I ask for some hot water for a baby bottle. And it's sad that children don't get a kid's meal ( which we received flying with many other airlines) and have to eat the uneatable adult meal. That was my first and last time flying with United."

Minusy: "The personnel service during the flight was mediocre. In my opinion they don’t know what is customer satisfaction. They have to show that they like what they do with a simple smile. They are not doing the customer a favor . That is their job a good customer satisfaction"

Over a two hour delay for take off fir mechanical issues and having to unload and reload plane we finally took off for our nephew's graduation in Colorado Springs. When we arrived we foud that some of our luggage was lost. We were told it would arrive the next day and after two days they can't even locate it yet. We need to purchase new clothing and every 6 hours we get an update telling us they still haven't located the luggage. We were told if it wasn't located we could fill out a claim. Wonder what type of nightmare that will be."
