The in flight screen required the use of a remote which was inconvenient when having to wake up my neighbor to pull it out of the armrest. Food wasn’t great. Skipped the last meal service. It was like flying 20 years ago. Not bad, but not as good as it could be nowadays."

Plusy: "The flight attendant told me I had to keep my seat upright throughout dinner so the person behind me could eat. I wanted to sleep and couldn't do so without reclining. The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? Just a very blasé crew."

Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."
Minusy: "I always hate to hear erroneous announcements. I don't need to know why I need to keep my seatbelt on; just to do it and MAYBE how long I'll need to do it. You don't need to alert me when you're turning the seat belt sign off. There's a "ding" and the light goes off. You could wake me up, or my wife or my sleeping child. It's like they like to hear themselves talk."

І don’t remember his name correctly but it was five letters and both vowels (2,4) were “E”. Could you please to let him know that І would like to apologize for my behavior and assure him that it was nothing against him but more about hormonal issues which І believe every woman has more or less during the pregnancy. It is a really big issue for me and my body now. Once again, І do apologize for my actions and that conflict. І didn’t mean it."

Minusy: "I was disappointed that the airline proactively cancelled the flight I booked and then refused to rebook me onto another airline and failed to offer me a return home within 24 hours of the flight I'd originally booked. Then, when trying to resolve the situation, the airline repeatedly gave me the runaround, directing me to talk to various people in person, and on the phone, before finally making clear that they wouldn't rebook me. Why waste my time and give me false hope if they weren't going to do it?"

Bardzo dobra obsługa, jedzenie i wygodne fotele. Pomiędzy fotelami na dole są gniazdka elektryczne a w oparciach z przodu złącza USB. Lepiej wziąć swoje słuchawki na małego jacka, bo te które rozdają mogą nie pasować dobrze do Twoich uszu;)

Wylot opóźniony o ponad godzinę bez podania przyczyn. Walizka nie doleciała. Odbiór,gdy dotarła tylko z lotniska, nie dostarczają do hotelu. KLM przesyłał mi informacje po holendersku zamiast po angielsku.

Minusy: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."
Minusy: "KLM lost my suitcase and did not deliver it until three days later... They refused to compensate me for having delivered the bag with broken articles inside (A pair of Rayban Wayfarers!)"

For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

One floor up we had to go thru security to reach customer service. 100 people lined up for customer service from 3 Austrian airline reps. After 2 hours of standing, there were still 27 people ahead of me. The woman behind me gave me the local phone number for Austrian airlines and I was able to get on a flight to US leaving in 30 minutes. I managed to make it, and would not have had I waited another hour in line. Why no surge of staff to help? All 3 help numbers on my Lufthansa e-mail receipt could not help. Horrible experience."
Minusy: "We sat on the tarmac for 2 hours because a crew member did not have the proper paperwork. This is incompetence. The trip was long enough w/o adding another two hours due to poor planning. This was completely preventable."

Plusy: "The B-767 is far superior to the B-777 in comfort; it is not so horribly crowded."
Minusy: "Austrian check-in at VIE was a disaster. None of the machines could read my passport; and when you entered the data by alternative methods it STILL required a machine to read the passport--which it exactly what they were unable to do. Thus, it was a circular Catch 22. I went through six different lady agents working my way through the system, until they finally took my bag and let me go. They themselves said it was new to them and they did not fully grasp how it worked and they did not know why it did not accept me. SOFTWARE PEOPLE BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD."

Minusy: "I paid a premium to book a direct flight (ages ago) and then had to rerouted last minute (same day) with no reason given other than "it's our fault". I inquired about paying to change destination city and or seat to a premium seat (for the 9+ hour flight) when I recvd the reservations for the new flights that were made at the airport around 8am for flights that left at around noon and 3pm. I was told no better seat(s) was available. However, a half hour before the flight was boarded several announcements were made regarding all the upgrades that were available. Liars annoy me."

Minusy: "While boarding, the AC was off due to a mechanical issue. The plane was uncomfortably hot, but the pilot and flight attendants were appropriately apologetic. The issue was resolved once we took off."

Minusy: "Seats in economy class are way too crowded, plane was too warm and air was stale (and had an odd odor). Choices of dinner selections ran out quickly, and serving any type of curry (the only option left) on an 8 hour flight is a very questionable choice.... Staff gave some people the full can of drinks, while others only a half glass. Also, even though there was not much turbulence throughout the flight, the plane was still VERY shaky for the majority of the time in the air. Not very comforting for those who are not frequent flyers. In the future, I plan to stick with British Airlines."
Plusy: "We liked that the boarding process seemed to have been streamlined and organized from other flights (this was a UNITED flight which we flew through Austrian Airlines). It was efficiently done. We thought the selection of movies to watch were terrific. So glad to have caught up on several I had wanted to see. Considering we had a 3 hour delay, I got to catch up on ALL the movies I wanted to watch!"
Minusy: "The plane was delayed just over 3 hours by a mechanical problem with the radar. We taxied to a remote gate while they tried to fix it. Original estimates were an hour, but it ended up being 3 hours. We stayed onboard which was probably best in this case - but having been trapped by United on a flight many years ago from 4 pm until midnight with 3 small children and then told to come back at 7 am the next day - I am very wary of the airline now and actually drive from Washington to Chicago as we could have done that in the time they trapped us! This flight was practically empty however, so unlike many transatlantic flights, we could spread out and were more comfortable than usual. So that was lucky for United otherwise my scores might have been a LOT worse! Also, we hadn't eaten, figuring that we would eat dinner on the flight. So after 3 hours we were a bit peckish! The crew came around with a cookie and water. Really think that might have been a little more especially considering the flight had so few passengers. So we arrived back in DC just about 10 pm and, after clearing customs and getting bags, were home to Arlington about midnight - 5 am our time! Given the conditions and circumstances, the crew did a good job. I would like to think that Austrian Airlines would have some input with United. The outbound daytime flight from Washington to London had been simply terrific with a wonderful crew - new to the route I think. They gave as pointers as to what we were seeing out the window, which we always appreciate. Just as my daughter wondered what we were seeing out the window, the captain would tell us. So in short, the outbound flight was in a different league to the return flight. But that's down to United and not Austrian Airlines. And these things happen and I'm glad we didn't have to change planes or make other plans."
