I was travelling with a baby and the staff was not even considerate about it and attending fast. I requested for a mineral water bottle as I ran out of baby water for making milk for the baby and the staff was so reluctant and told "they are done" and just left.I am really dissapointed with this. Minusy: "I used Qatar airways 3 times so far. In the last flight, were a connection has 8 hours between 2 flights, they deny me to stay in a hotel. The last 2 flights which have exactly the same schedule, I used the hotel in that 8 hours between the 2 flights. I asked why, they told me that my ticket is not eligible to the hotel, although, I bought the last two times from Kayak, with almost same price. My first flight with Qatar Airways was on July 2017. My second flight with Qatar Airways was on August 2017. My third flight with Qatar Airways was on Jan 208."

Minusy: "- Tiny, cramped seats and aisles. I'd heard the Quatar has more leg room than other airlines. This is definitely not true. If the person in front of me reclined all the way, they crushed my knees and I'm only 5'7". - Bathrooms were dirty by 4 hours into the 14 hour flight. Sinks clogged, garbage can overflowing. Not just one bathroom. Gross. - Worst flight attendant service I've ever had, and I don't expect much since I've traveled a lot. Service was rushed, coffee cart for our side of plane never arrived, when I walked to the back to ask for some, they couldn't find the milk and made a fuss about looking for sugar. Lots of similar examples throughout the flight. - The baggage claim carousel number never appeared on the screens at IAD after landing. Other flights showed but not Quatar. We waited a while then walked around to check them all until we found the right carousel. Never seen this happen before. - One of our bags never appeared, so we waited until all luggage had come out and checked with the counter. They found our bag somewhere and brought it over after a 20 minute wait. No explanation given. Good thing we'd counted bags."

Minusy: "I have flown previously with Qatar and was not so impressed. Everything was great this trip up until my return to the United States. I should have suspected a problem when I was requested to change seat in order to assist a family who were in separate seats. Moving was difficult as the plane was being loaded. I managed to get to the seat offered to find someone sitting in it. To top it off the individual was wearing a surgical mask and carrying a large immigration bag. I requested a seat forward but I was denied and I later saw other passengers moved forward to seats that I was denied. If I had known that the flight would have been full of possibility sick immigrants I would have chosen another flight or airline. At certain times the smells were very bad. I felt as a ff member I should have been treated better or been made aware of possible health risks."

Minusy: "I never made it to the Yerevan to Doha flight, because Qatar Airways did not get me to my destination in time. They had an emergency landing in The Azores, after turbulence and several passengers got injured, when the pilot failed to warn passengers to put on their seat belts and they flew into the air, hitting the ceiling before falling down. One passenger had a heart attack. Once they de-planed us in The Azores, not a single Qatar Airways employee helped us on site anymore. Passengers were left in the hands of hotel and airport staff. There was very little communication with the passengers. A relief flight was supposed to come in 12 hours. It did not come for another 35. After the emergency landing, some passengers noticed that a wing looked defective. The disruption may not have been due only to bad weather, but a defective plane as well."

While I do understand that overweight people have the right to fly, they should pay for the space they occupy like the rest of us. This person literally should have had two seats."

The same was the process from Los Angeles to Seattle that was our scale. Process too long and go back through security, the boarding gate was almost closed. I think that for these cases they should leave more time for the stopovers that come from international flights. For my part I did not choose this option, since I was traveling with a person with mobility problems and separated the group for admission to the process of entering the USA."

Minusy: "The check in process was terrible. I specifically requested seating together with 2 small children and an injured daughter. The check in process was the most chaotic I've seen in recent times. No clear order, no clear counters. We bounced back and forth before we checked in our luggage. At the gate, another long chaotic line of multiple questioning and bag/body search before we boarded buses to our plane. When we boarded we found out we were split at 2 or 1 seat arrangements (out of 5 travelers). After complaining, there were able to seat at least 3 (with one lap child) together and 1 separate. The plane was uncomfortably hot all flight long despite notifying the flight attendants. The one restroom ran out of soap in the first hour of the 11 hour flight. They quickly ran out of a choice for lunch option and snacks. I fly Turkish Airlines frequently and I usually am satisfied, but this was exceptionally bad experience."

Minusy: "I was disappointed that the two female flight attendants on my side (seats A&B) did not come across friendly, and any request appeared to be a bother. At one point I requested bread and butter, the flight attendant seemed annoyed and said if she can find some, and never came back to me. I went to the galley, where a male flight attendant was working on something. I requested some bread and butter from him, was met with s smile, and was able to locate a roll and butter for me in under a min. Please note, I do not think this was a gender issues, it just happens to be the situation with this case, and I specified it as I do not know the names of the flight attendants, but the airline should be able to identify who was working the different sections."
Minusy: "I had a fever and requsted bottled water to keep with me and sip as I needed. The crew was unwilling to process my request and would only give a cup at a time!"
Minusy: "I have been told at the airport that I had an unconfirmed flight and was told that I could not travel to Istanbul. I am still at my departure city, in Chicago. I bought my tickets just like anybody would, go on the website, pick the flights and pay. But someone did not do their job correctly and did not correctly confirm my flight. I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. The system is so disconnected or careless that it can't even figure out I couldn't take the flight which it is is asking me a review for."

Plusy: "The food was the best airplane food I've ever had and the alcohol was free. (By contrast, our SAS flight cost nearly twice as much, left two hours late, causing us to miss our connection, the food was medicore, and the alcohol cost extra). The warm towels were a nice touch. I also appreciated the video regarding in-seat stretching exercises, which were particularly helpful on a long flight. It was nice to board from both the the back and the front of the plane."
Minusy: "The seats were too cramped for an 11+ hour flight. One minor annoyance: the flight left in the morning and remained sunlit the whole way as we were heading west. The passenger behind us was trying to sleep and complained to the crew about our shade being up even though she was not wearing the eye covers the crew had given everyone. The crew asked us (politely) more than once to put the shade down, but the electric light was not sufficient for our reading. I don't fault the crew for trying to accommodate an unhappy passenger, but it was an imposition on us as well."
Plusy: "Plane was more comfortable this time. I was able to put seat back a bit to sleep."
Minusy: "Food choices were poor. For a long flight, it would be ideal to offer things for people with allergies. As a celiac, I was unable to eat most of what they offered me and there were not a lot of options. This is difficult on such a long flight."
Plusy: "Excellent service, staff and food. All flights ran smooth, food and beverages were great and service from the crew was beyond great. During the fight, besides the food and drinks, we had lots of entertainment and games in the tv devices. I will definitely fly with Turkish Airlines again in the future."

Minusy: "Overhead announcements were difficult to understand. Cabin Crew were inefficient in their service, going back and forth numerous times because they forgot this or that. There's no point requesting a special meal if you have dietary restrictions, because they don't seem to have a way of knowing you've made the request."
Minusy: "I was disappointed that the airline proactively cancelled the flight I booked and then refused to rebook me onto another airline and failed to offer me a return home within 24 hours of the flight I'd originally booked. Then, when trying to resolve the situation, the airline repeatedly gave me the runaround, directing me to talk to various people in person, and on the phone, before finally making clear that they wouldn't rebook me. Why waste my time and give me false hope if they weren't going to do it?"
Plusy: "Friendly Cabin crew Entertainment was above average."
Minusy: "First of all I have tons of complaints regarding the airport at Istanbul. They have a poorly managed airport and it was so crowded. The cafeteria and places to eat around in the airport were horrendously expensive and they didn't have services like wifi(had to buy it for $8 an hour and it sucked) and drinking water. As per Turkish airlines, the staff in the airport were poorly equipped to deal with emergency situations such as snow. I was flying during the snowstorm and wasn't expecting my journey to be easy. But they should have increased their resources to help people out in such cases.Their help desk was crowded with almost 500+ of people all the time and they only had 2 people to answer their queries. Also, the staff couldn't understand English properly and seemed irritated when I was trying to explain things in English. I had to stand an hour on a line to get my temporary visa issued only to be referred to another line (yes! i waited for an hour to get to the desk and was told to go and sit in another effing line). It was also because most of the signs/boards in the area were written in Turkish only and I didn't know what they were saying. I had to pay for my own hotel during my transit because the line for the hotels was almost two miles long. And when I arrived at my destination, both my luggage went missing. The crew on board were nice and helping people. I do not blame my bad travel experience entirely on Turkish airlines however, the airport and airlines both are not prepared to deal with situations that are unexpected. I also realize the snow storm was the main factor behind everything however any airlines that boasts itself to be a top class international airlines should have means and resources to manage(at least try) their passengers and airport during any situation. No matter what I am never flying with Turkish airlines again."

Minusy: "Turkish airlines do not care at all about passengers from other countries (other that western Europe and USA) - my flight was cancelled but the airline reps did not bother to tell 150 plus passengers until the end... passengers got angry and one rep took us to the hotel desk, confusing with boarding passes and passport control on the way - forcing us to waster 3-4 hours; we were provided hotel accomodation at midnight (flight was supposed to take off at 9 pm - maybe they were avoiding to spend on out meals???"

Minusy: "The level of service by the cabin crew was really disappointing. One of the flight attendants asked me to switch seats with the woman seated next to me (although I had pre-selected my seat). I obliged, although I think that the cabin crew and/or gate agents should have given more thought to giving her a better seat assignment, like a bulkhead seat. This woman was uncommonly large with mobility problems, so it was difficult for me to get up when I wanted to. The entertainment system malfunctioned about an hour into the flight, and I had to flag down a cabin crew member on 3 separate occasions to ask them to look into it. No one ever bothered to follow up or attempt to resolve the problem. To make matters worse, the entertainment system is connected to the entire electrical system, so I couldn't use the "call cabin crew" button, or the overhead light - meaning I was stuck in the dark for HOURS. Only after I demanded to be given another seat did anyone do anything, and with zero apologies."
Plusy: "DC to Istanbul: Good food and nice flight experience. Helpful staff were always ready to help. Istanbul to DC: clean, maintained aitcraft, nice crew, good food."
Minusy: "DC to Istanbul: Broken bathroom lock. Not very clean aisles. Very few English speaking crew. Istanbul to DC: Ran out of second option lunch. This seem to happen frequently. Most of the crew members were strangely not around. This resulted in two overworked crew members and lots of trays sitting on our laps for sometime. I was curios what all the other ones were doing."

Plusy: "Same problem coming back, my flight IST to IAD missed because my my layover was only one hour, and when I got the desk of my connecting flight, I was not allowed to board, even though there were last few passengers were still moving to the plane. This time I had to spend another 8 hours on IST."
Minusy: "I would have like quite a few things, but delays which were not uncontrollable ruined my whole trip"

But boarding was an absolute mess: the "secure" gate area was tiny and way too small to accommodate all the people on the flight, and the temperature in that area of the terminal was blistering hot. Combined with an organization that was messy, let's just say that all of us were REAL happy when we finally boarded the plane."
Minusy: "Worst boarding as flight was late and who ever was boarding us was rude, I get in my seat was taken, flight attendants were the rudest Iv ever dealt with, anything I asked for was not available, air conditioning was not working in the middle part of the plane. I could not stand sitting so I stood in the back the WHOLE 10 hour flight from the heat. I was so uncomfortable I will definitely take action on this one. I will demand a full refund the whole way I was extremely upset."

My "A" window seat in economy had significantly reduce foot space due to a metal box installed in the space. The seat was not particularly well designed, but it's economy so you get what you get. The food was average at best."
Plusy: "What is not to like? I was pleasantly surprised by the Munich airport ground crew and it didn’t stop there! We boarded promptly and efficiently. Once on the plane, service was excellent and the food and drink options were delicious! The entertainment selections were intriguing and engaging. At the end of the flight, we cleared the plane quickly and we’re given adequate directions to customs. It was a great experience."

Minusy: "Travel in flight was good. Flight was missed due to delay in the airport and they made it clear that this was a bulk rate ticket and any rebooking was almost a favor on their part. That being said with some chatting to the service agent she softened up and started to be more helpful. Wish she could have been more helpful from the start and ended up being rerouted through another city despite a codeshare flight leaving directly to my final destination which would have been the normal switch. Oh well, those are the breaks with a bulk price ticket. Once in flight, service was very good and plenty of open seats, so room to stretch out."

Rather than pad the list with the likes of Boss Baby or Going out in Style or even a mediocre 60% offering in the Fast and Furious franchise. Wonderful crew, though, can't say enough about how polite and attentive they are."

Minusy: "I am only 158cm tall (5 feet 2 inches) and I had no leg room! My knees hit the seat in front of me. The seats were also so narrow that you could not change position at all, so it was very uncomfortable for a 8.5 hour flight. And I weigh less than 45 kg (100lbs). I can't imagine how anyone bigger than me felt. My seat was toward the back of the plane, and it took the crew over an hour to reach us once they started the drink and food carts. One time my row got entirely skipped for the drink cart, even though we were awake. This was a problem because they didn't come by for another 5.5 hours with more water/drinks, and they did not give us water bottles for that time period like Delta does. The food wasn't tasty, but it was eatable. The movie options were great, but that was all I could do on the screen because half of mine did not respond to touch, which meant no games and I could only select movies on the left half of my screen. Weird."

Minusy: "The seating on this aircraft is inadequate for a long flights. Tall people really suffer due to seat size and spacing. There was a 6"6" man of median weight for his height who was in the middle seat next to me and he could barely fit into his seat. It was not his fault, rather the unrealistic expectation that airline seats actually fit today's customer. Not only is there not enough leg room, but the width of the seat leaves no room for arms or shoulders. No one should have to ride 7-plus hours touching the shoulders of the passenger next to them! I used to prefer to fly on Lufthansa because their seating was more comfortable than other carriers, but I will try another airline next time."
Minusy: "I selected my seats online before the flight. It seems my seat assignments were changed (many other customers complained of the same issue). I have siliver status on United and was told that there was no way to be considered for upgrade to different seat. I was told that the list was already full of higher priority customers. Yet at the same time the same employee announced those seats were available for purchase at $200 Euro for others. It seemed in both cases Lufthansa shuffled around passengers out of their selected seats for unknow reasons and also werent honoring frequent flier status programs for changing seats. Furthermore, the in seat entertainment did not work and it took quite a bit of effort including trying to move seats to get the flight attendants to reset the system (they said it would affect other customers who didnt have problems with their entertainment system). 8+hour flight is long flight to not have the system working. eventually the fixed it a couple of hours into the flight."
Minusy: "Delays in Nice led to a narrow window for connection. More than ten people were left behind - doors practically closed in our faces - and Lufthansa was wholly unhelpful in rescheduling flights. Lines to speak with agents were absurd and then attendants had to take breaks instead of resolve issues. There were no solutions offered, only poor communication and an unwillingness to accommodate a significant number of customers who were inconvenienced. Finally, a "random inspection" led to a handful of passengers being surveyed by the German local police. Interestingly, a number of us were Hispanic Americans. The whole experience was extremely negative."
