Food needs to be improved. No options for people who have restrictions. I can not have milk products. Every meal on all flights had chees in it. We were on roundtrip within three days Cracow- Newark via Munich that makes four flights. They had exactly the same food both ways. Pasta full of cheese both ways. No options. On top of that there was a piece of brad also served with a piece of cheese, and later a sandwich with cheese. Dairy products are harmful for many people. Couse bloating and gas and or other digestion problems. Why would you offer this kind of food on long flights with no alternatives ? How about rice and veggies?? Also, it looks like you are limited to offering the same food every day on your flights. It’s very disappointing

Minusy: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Then there was no sign for where we should go since upper deck on 747 so we went in "economy" line as indicated on ticket and then was sent to correct line when we got to the front, wasting more time. The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us."

Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Minusy: "The plane itself was clearly an older model, lacking many amenities I’ve come to expect flying coach. The overhead compartments were too small for larger carryon luggage, and no one on the crew alerted passengers to this. Thus, many passengers had to go against the traffic of those still boarding to find space for luggage. My seat was at the back of the plane so I had to spend close to 15 extra minutes walking back to the front against boarding passengers to find a place to put my luggage. A simple warning from the crew when I boarded would have prevented mine and many others unnecessary trouble simply boarding. During a very turbulent flight, the captain nor the crew made any announcements about turbulence, our safety, or our progress. Also during the flight, one of the flight attendants got into an awkward verbal spat with one of the passengers. Completely unprofessional and bothersome. Additionally, I had fallen asleep when dinner was being first served, but woke up before it was finished. A flight attendant approached me and asked if I’d like a dinner to which I replied “Yes”. The flight attendant never returned with a dinner for me, thus I did not eat the dinner, which I had paid for. Lastly, and perhaps most disturbing, was what transpired when a passenger had a medical emergency. With no warning, all of the airplane lights turned on and a loud “CODE RED” was announced over the sound system. Imagine being a sleeping passenger like myself, during a very turbulent flight, to be suddenly awoken to bright lights and a CODE RED shouted loudly over the PA. I’m not overexaggerating when I say that I was preparing for the worst. A truly terrifying moment that I am certain was shared with many others on board. To make matters even worse, as a flight attendant rushed to find a first aid kit (which she had trouble finding) she opened up the compartment over my partners seat and dropped a passengers ipad on her head. The flight attendant did return to apologize, but it was little consolation compared to the stress and panic the crew created. I have flown many times, and this was easily the worst flight of my life. American Airlines should be ashamed of the conditions they put their passengers in and they have lost two customers for good."
Plusy: "We got upgraded...Happy New Year to us!!! Service was excellent...landing was one of the smoothest we have ever had! Nice quiet flight with not too many people on board! I will use American Airlines again!"
Plusy: "The crew was very friendly and accommodating. The food as usual just snack type food for purchase as expected. The entertainment system malfunctioned and we could not watch the movie they offered. However one flight attendant was very nice and gave my kids special cookies. Nice touch!"

Didn't know if I called Iberia or American to make seat selection. Confusing with two different flight numbers. One from Iberia and one from American. Passengers should be made aware of which airline they are flying on at time of purchase."
Minusy: "Being stuck on the plane for 2 1/2 hours They lost my luggage that was checked in as being on the belt but it never came down!!! They never found it and I was standing in front when the first bag came down until the last my bag never came down!"

Plusy: "The only reason I was able to make this flight was that it, too, was delayed. We received ZERO notification - as we were running from one plane to another from Concourse A to B - that the Phoenix-LA flight was delayed. I mean how difficult is that to do?"
Minusy: "We took off. We landed. We didn't crash. We sat on the runway for nearly an hour. So much fun!"
Plusy: "Pretty average flight and experience overall. Food was as expected. Average flight attendants - no one really stood out, which is odd for an international flight."
Minusy: "Premium economy seat didn't decline making this the most uncomfortable and unpremium experience I've had. Sore neck and back. Searching for media such as artist or movie worthless - yields no results, yet the album is included in the listings - I stumbled on it earlier in the flight and wanted to listen to it again. Same search experience on a flight three months ago."
Minusy: "No choice in food. Flt attended said he would try to find a sandwich or snack left over from coach but he never offered anything."

Minusy: "Arrived in Phoenix and hurried to my next gate for the flight to Palm Springs only to discover a delay in the flight. No marguees were updated, no explanation just the plane had not arrived. Soon after we were told of a gate change, the marquee then said the flight would not arrive until 11 pm it is a one hour flight, so we actually arrived at 10 pm."

Minusy: "I paid $123 for the flight and than I was profiled by the attended and forced to pay $85 to check in my carry on as a baggage. My carry on fit in the display model, it was 1/2 inch showing because of the handle and I was forced to pay an extra $85! Almost as much as my flight costed. When I was boarding the plane I saw several people with carry on baggage that were wider and longer than mine. I will never fly thru British Airways or book thru Kayak.com again. When I get back to my country I will file every complaint I can thru google and social media. I never felt so disrespected and ripped off!"
Plusy: "Nothing the worst customer service I ever had"
Minusy: "The flight was canceled due to mechanical difficulties and British airways delayed helping us for 2 hours and then told us to use the phone 800 number to book a different flight. we needed to connect in London for the flight to Tel Aviv. The man on the phone barely spoke English and set us up with a flight that would not get us to our destination in time for our religious Sabbath Friday night. When we tried to explain the situation he hung up on us. We called back and tried to explain again we either spoke to the same man or another Indian man whom also spoke unintelligible English and he also hung up on us. In the mean time my wife spoke with the counter agents and they tried to find us another flight but by now other airline counters were closed. An hour later I tried the 800 number again and spoke again with the same Indian guy, when I asked to speak to a manager he gave me a hard time then finally said ok, put me on hold which I stayed for a while and realized he just put me on hold indefinitely. Finally after being in the airport for 9 hours we found a flight from United and a family member booked it online for us which we took to Tel Aviv and got us here only 2 hours later than our original flight which had a 12 hour layover in London and we were going to spend time touring but did not get to. As far as I am concerned British Airways has done a horrible job and no one should ever fly with them again. Unfortunately our flight home is with them I hope it goes smooth."

Limited lighting available when one wants lights for personal use. Lastly, the person sitting in the window seat has to "step over" the aisle person (is he/she is sleeping) - not a good design."

Boarding process completely baroque: With 6 different priority statuses, should we be in this line or that if we have x status, but are flying this class. Comically absurd."

The flights themselves were very good, they were accommodating and was able to move my seat for me in JFK, the flight with British Airways was good."

Minusy: "The queuing process was not efficient, the packing of people on a shuttle bus was dangerous with the number of people squashed onto the bus and then we had to wait on the bus for quite a while for the determination to be made that the flight was ready. Once on the flight, the hanging flap that separates the first class from economy, was loosely hanging and rattled fiercely and on lift-off swung back toward our faces. We had to pay 4 pounds for a coke and weird coffee. Then we had to circle London while we waited to land because of the IT mess in London."
Minusy: "smallest coach I have ever been in. very squished and I was next to my wife at 95 lb and a skinny young man who took no room at all. I am only 5'9" 170. But thats how the flights get so cheep"

Minusy: "I paid to upgrade to the exit row because I am 6 feet 5 inches tall after boarding they informed me that I could not sit in that seat because I needed a seat belt extender they made me move to a regular seat that was so tight that my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me coming back was the same the man next to me was 6 feet tall and he had no room also boarding was mass confusion as they have boarding from the front and rear simultaneously with no instructions so people had to shove past each other all in all I will never fly them again"
