"It was cancelled and I was forced to buy another ticket."

Minusy: "I got to the airport the morning of my flight from Warsaw -Dublin and was told my flight was cancelled and no longer exists. Luckily I got a hold of my daughter who was in LA at this time and woke her up at 1am with this issue. She called the web booking company Webjet where you directed us to buy the flight, and was told by Webjet that my flight was cancelled the day before and we were not notified IN ANY WAY! By some miracle, my daughter was able to talk to Webjet and get me on a new flight last minute. Again, this is all happening at 1am California time while I am stranded at the airport in Warsaw! Unacceptable!!! I am however glad that the issue was resolved and I made it home safely. But I think someone needs to look into this immediately because if it wasn't for my daughter, I wouldn't have left the Warsaw airport due to the fact that the airline cancelled the flight and neither the airline, Kayak, nor Webjet notified me...."

Minusy: "Plane departed late and stalled at landing- delay caused me to miss connection and set me back getting home by 7 hours at the end of it all."

Minusy: "It was like being on a really cheap budget airline, but paying expensive prices. Food only for sale with a British credit or debit card, won't take cash,no menu cards, and even if I'd wanted to get food, no gluten free options, which is not a lifestyle choice for me, but a necessity.Scruffy dog-eared magazines in the seat pocket. Not even an offer of tea or coffee. Check-in online would not allow me to change my seat, although it told me I could. I fly a lot, but tend to avoid BA now if I can, and this flight just confirmed that preference."

Minusy: "British air sold seats on american but couldnt - or wouldnt- allow us to Book our seats ahead and together. We had to wait til boarding day and airport checkin. Shame on them. If theyre going to make money code sharing, then they better deliver!! Then the american flight's ent'mt didnt work nor reading lights. Hopefully you had a fully charged smart phone!"

Minusy: "We were delayed multiple times and no one was available to answer questions. Then we finally we get in the airplane and they charge for every snack that they offer. We landed at London and we had to run to get to the next airplane going to NY. We payed for Upgraded seats and they did not honor the seats since we missed our original flight. On top of that they lost our bags..."

Plusy: "This is was actually a flight operated by Qatar Airways and my first time with them. And you know what? It was like going back in time: this was exactly what and how BA used to be even 10 years ago. Thank you, Qatar, for wonderful service!"

Minusy: "We arrived at the airport more than 2 hours in advance since this was an international flight. There was NO British Airways staff available to help with obtaining actual boarding passes which were NOT available on the BA mobile app. Although we made the flight with enough time, that was only because the security line was short and the passport control line was short as well. British Airways should have staff available to process passengers and boarding passes, luggage checkin, etc. earlier for their flights."

Minusy: "We checked in exactly 2 hours and 30 minutes before scheduled departure time, as previously instructed when we attempted check-in some three-and-a-half hours before departure. Thus we were, I'm fairly certain, the second couple to check in for the entire flight. I asked the agent if the fare we paid allowed us a checked piece of luggage. She said that, yes, we were entitled to one checked piece per passenger at no charge. That being the case, I asked the agent to issue a refund for the two Checked Baggage fees my wife had paid online. She insisted there was nothing she could do about it and it was totally out of her hands. I explained to her my understanding that such refund must be requested PRIOR TO CHECK-IN, but she reiterated there was nothing she could do, and offered no solution whatsoever. In addition, the agent insisted that we were not allowed to carry-on a cabin bag in addition to a personal item. When I asserted my rights (See Note 1), she had the temerity to say "You should know British Airlines' policy if you buy a ticket." Trying another tack, I asked who DID get to use the overhead lockers, since they were only allowing under-seat sized Personal Items to be brought on-board. She replied that the "no cabin baggage" policy applied "after the first 30 passengers boarded the plane." (Please recall that we were the second couple ON THE ENTIRE PLANE to check-in, and thus should make that artificial "cut-off." (Also, as a Million Mile flyer with your partner, American Airlines, I believe we're entitled to Priority Boarding.) Concerned about the valuable items in the cabin bag she was effectively commandeering, I inquired about the airlines Limits of Liability in case of Loss or Damage. She said she had no idea. I then asked to see a copy of the airline's Conditions of Carriage. But she was either unable or unwilling to provide same. I arrived very, very early to ensure these sorts of problems could be ironed-out before departure, and am frankly appalled by the lack of knowledge, professionalism and judgement the airline exhibited in this instance. Also: On-board service was so incredibly slow, the last two rows were not served until 15 minutes prior to landing. ("There you go, sir. Bottoms up... and be quick about it! ;-) Bill B. Los Angeles, CA USA"

Minusy: "Heathrow connection process almost caused me to miss my flight, despite having 2 hours between connections. Security officer at Heathrow was very unprofessional, and took a great pleasure in delaying my processing through the security line. Specifically, I did not remove a PHONE BATTERY CHARGER from my carry-on for screening, so he proceeded to dump out the whole backpack contents, and then purposefully was very slow about putting things back in one by one.As an active duty police officer I understand the need for security and follow all the regulations and instructions to the best of my abilities. However in this case the security officer went out of his way to make the process as slow as he could. Very bad, stressful experience traveling on BA with connection at Heathrow."

Minusy: "Transferring from one flight to another, from one terminal to another. Definately, too litte time for transfer. Rushing, with no time to stop at the restroom."

Minusy: "Going the food was so ordinary and right after dinner crew kinda disappeared, got to get everything for yourself, even remove glasses with liquid during turbulence. Booked with BA but it was operated by AA. Never again, Coming back the food was better but was told they were out of fish, my husband on the other side of me was told they were out of chicken. when questioned, got a dumb answer. ran out of wine (red&White) Spain & France on a day flight & told us they have no control. Service sucks, except 1 nice fellow, who apologized. 6 bottles for 36 passengers. 1 crew had cold towel around his neck sitting, 1 doing crossword so we had to help ourselves. 1 crew saw something in the plane & screamed so hard woke up a sleeping pilot. 1 crew slept for 2 hrs and 1 watch TV for 1 hrs. NEVER VERY, IF I CAN AVOID IT, WILL I TRAVEL WITH AA. They own a lot of us more than an apology."

I have had two trips in the past 5 days and all flights have been anywhere from 1 to 3 hours late. Worst experience with AA I have had in a long time."

Minusy: "The Flight Attendants were HORRIBLE. They were rude and dismissive to all passengers, One in particular (Suzette) actually made a passenger sitting next to me cry. I was embarrassed to be an American. It was a nightmare of a flight because of the flight attendants."

Minusy: "After paying for a seat upgrade when I booked the ticket, I was forced to pay a second upgrade fee just to sit only 12 rows further back than the seat I paid for. The excuse given by the airline was that they had changed planes and the new plane didn't have a seat 13F. Instead, the equivalent was row 40. I was told that I could pay more and more up to row 25, but that all the lower rows were full. When I asked the service rep to refund the difference, I was told I had to fill out a form online. I was told there are no humans with whom a customer can speak that can process a refund."
