But what was even worse, is that they didn't allow me to check my bag in the last connection gettting to the US, instead they made me check it from my original destination which made me loose almost two days of work without giving me a logic response on why I couldn't check my bag from my inbound flight to the US. By the way, this protocol from TSA is terrible. No internet in their flights No chargers plugs in all of their flights (including the ones that take you more than 4 hours) Lunch in their 15 hours flight is mediocre, everyone was starving since they only gave us one mini empanada."

This was the third time this airlines cancelled a flight on us for the same trip. The first two times were traveling from Miami to Delhi, we had to change our itinerary because they cancelled the flight, and we had to fly on different dates. This caused a series of hotel changes and cancellations costing us a lot of money. On the flight that we finally got from Doha to JFK, the man sitting next to me SMELLED LIFE THE FUNK OF 40,000 YEARS. It is unbearable. Thirteen hours of pungent body odor that even the flight attendants acknowledged was horrific. It was a miserable experience flying with this airline for what was to be the trip of a lifetime."

This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

The entertainment system is very outdated, small screen and old and used hand set. Claiming to be a premium airline is unfortunately very overstated if you are unlucky to catch the old business class planes. Only few have changed to the new versions (777s) - Make sure to catch those."
Minusy: "They charge you an extra $ 100 DOLLARS FOR THE OPTION TO PICK YOUR SEAT AND WHEN YOU CHECK IN THEY SAY THAT IT WAS JUST TO SIT IN THAT SECTION OF THE PLANE. WE PICKED OUR SEATS BY THE FRONT BULKHEAD AND WHEN WE CHECKED IN THEY REFUSED TO GIVE US THOSE SEATS BECAUSE THEY SAID OTHER PEOPLE PAID MORE THAN US TO HAVE THEM. THEY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR THIS KIND OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY."

Plusy: "We were worried based on negative reviews on SWISS we had read prior to our trip, but they were WONDERFUL!! We flew coach from MIA to CRETE, two stops and 13+ hours of flying. The seats were as roomy as coach gets, but comfortable, reclining further than Delta or AA in my opinion. The food, drinks and snacks never stopped and were tasty!! Including a delicious Swiss chocolate a the end of your flight! They were so attentive! The attendants were all kind and polite. In fact, we had someone sit in front of us on our flight home who culturally didn't bath/wear deodorant and VERY malodorous and we asked the flight attendant if we could move. As soon as everyone boarded and she found two open seats for us, she moved us right before take off and we had a wonderful, great-smelling 10.5 hour flight!! LOL"
Minusy: "There seems to only be 4 (plenty) bathrooms right in the center of the coach area of the plane, but with the flight attendants constantly serving drinks and food, you really had to time it so you could get to the bathrooms when they weren't in the aisles. Trust me though, this is hardly a negative and I will happily fly SWISS over and over!!!"

That was only the reason i chose this airline. When i ask about my lifemiles the answer was that my class of ticket didnt get any lifemile. I felt cheated. You should put it somewhere visibly so the person knows before booking. If i knew it before i never chose this airline."

The screen with the flight inf. stopped working mid-flight and we never got it back. No announcements either, and we did not know where we were or how much longer the flight would be until they announced our approach to Miami."

Plusy: "So apparently I was told I was 1 min too late and the computer would not let them print a backache check. Further they were tellin me I couldn't get in my flight and have my luggage go later, but I understand because of security reasons. Finally it was 10 min til my flight left, I asked how about if I walk my bags through security check point; have TSA examine them and then they get placed in the plane like oversized carry ons normally do? Ding I struck a light bulb and they said yea why not. After a few phone calls later I was walking with my bags through TSA. It took me to think this up for Delta. A minute too late was the original response from the first agent. 1 minute! Not 10 not 5 she said the computer just got locked out. I was going to miss my flight for 1 min time restraint. The first agent didn't care and just blew me away. Thankfully the next agent tried. I had to throw away all my toiletries because TSA wouldn't let them through."

I paid for those tickets for that flight, so the seats should not have been given to anyone else. It's not like they were out any money. The tickets were already paid for and seats assigned to us. Considering this was the first flight of the day I would have expected things to have gone smoother. No entertainment but I was not expecting any (there should be a N/A option in the survey)."

Minusy: "The flight got canceled a few hours before departure without providing any reason. I had a connection in FRA on to SEA so that was ruined. Since the weather was good my assumption is Lufthansa simply didn't sell enough tickets for this flight thus decided to cancel ruining the plans of the passengers who bought their tickets. Lufthansa representative which I called was totally indifferent, offered no make-up miles or anything, simply informing me they can rebook me for the next day - if they have spots. I had to point out there may be flights from other cities still on that would allow me to make a connection."

"I liked absolutely nothing about this. The worst airline I have ever dealt with. We missed our flight. As we were boarding the flight (we arrived well in advance) the flight attendant demanded a negative covid test. We were asked for vaccine cards at checkin, never a negative covid test. They asked us to rebook the flight, thus we missed our flight, had to book a hotel, all of our luggage was going straight to Miami so we have no change of clothes. An absolute nightmare. Next, I stood in line for OVER 2 hours to get on the next flight. They gave no apology or explanation as to the 2 hr wait, nor why we weren’t informed of the negative COVID test in advance. They then recommended a covid testing center in the airport that charged 169 euro a person. I refused and found another less expensive yet approved center. I will NEVER use this airline again, I will never recommend it and I will never come back to Germany. The entire Frankfort airport staff was wretched. Awful experience."

Plusy: "The very dirty plane was cleaned at Dar-es-salaam and became less dirty. The pilot kept us updated periodically through the flight. The flight attendants were very pleasant."
Minusy: "The plane was very dirty when we landed in Dar-es-salaam. The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."
Plusy: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Minusy: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Minusy: "This time I was turned away as a Sky Priority Member, and told there are too many categories at boarding and told my Silver Status (after this flight was bumped to Gold). Not sure what has changed in the last 2 weeks."

Predictably, the process was slow and chaotic. Last minute switch from a 777 to an older, non-refurbished 747-400. Entertaiment system contents are still great, but the screen is dim and outdated by today's standards. But I would just fill this as luck of the draw."
