We never left Sat on tarmac for two hours

I enjoyed the entertainment but the snacks could have been more wider.

They finally asked people to only approach if they were actually called.

Early arrival. NIce plane. Quick trip.

Overbooked flight led to a 30 minute delayed departure trying to get 3 volunteers to accept $1000 vouchers and a next day flight. This was an older configured aircraft without charging ports and with headphone plugs in the armrests. Bathrooms were tinier than most. Crew was friendly. Food was limited to a small snack bag and a mini cola.

Delta operated. Missed connecting flight due to single late crew member in dfw. 1.5 h late. Missed work and incurred costs of over $800. Delta failed to hold connecting flight(s) at gate and it actually left EARLY. Fail. Never again.

Very cramped flight, overhead bins were all completely filled, and passengers had to fly with bags by their feet which was not very comfortable for me personally.

being a flight attendant and using spécial fare I apreciate being treated equally to the other pax, the fact that the crew, when I informed them of my status, went to check if I had a good seat ( no one beside me, to be able to get good rest.) Those are important gestures towards the person. I look to more flights with KLM

When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Minusy: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."

The most exceptional jester durring experience with American Airlines was the assistance I received from the ladies at the arrival kiosk. They helped me identify my ticket number from an American Airlines e-mail and then completed the whole process for me on the self-help computer. This saved me time from standing is line at the information counter to find out what to do. The worst experience was trying to find my checked luggage in the Miami Airport. It was very confusing to know which belt my flights my flights luggage was delivered to. Other passengers were also confused and we waited at the wrong belt for over half an hour before receiving help from one of the customer assistants to learn where to go. This was not directly the airlines fault, but they could have anounced which belt number our luggage would be delivered to.

Minusy: "The plane could have been maintained. Instead I sat for three hours and was told the mechanics didn’t have the equipment to fix the plane"

Minusy: "When I checked in, it indicated a smaller plane. I thought I was going to be in a window seat, instead middle. I also wasn't able to carry on my bag, had to check, and then wait at baggage terminal."
Minusy: "I always have preferred American Airlines but they seem to have constant problems with the aircraft these days. This causes delays and missed connections. This in turn causes no breakfast or lunch or dinner opportunities. I travel with snacks in my bag at all times now just in case so I won’t get sick for lack of nourishment or water! This last flight I missed my connection altogether and had to take a shuttle home, then catch a ride back to the airport to pick up my luggage and then get my car to drive home. It was 4 hours past my expected time home."
Minusy: "50 minute wait for a gate to deplane. How could there not be a gate at 10:30 pm? It’s not like our arrival was a surprise!?"

Plusy: "The crew was amazing. The seats were very uncomfortable. I've flown Lufthansa many times and there is a big difference."

Minusy: "I wish these airlines would remember that people on the place are PEOPLE. After multiple delays, including one where we sat on a hot plane for over an hour, they did very little to make us comfortable. There's a reason why AA sits right next to United in terms of poor customer experiences"

Minusy: "Realized I left my iPhone in pocket of my seat as soon as I exited plane - spoke to gate agent within 1 minute of leaving plane and she Asia she would get the cleaning crew to look while I waited. Waited 20 min only to hear a bunch of lies about how they asked the flight attendant to look but she couldn’t find it - should have just walked back on plane to do it myself. Was told to “go online” and file a lost and found report. This is a small airport - TRI cities TN - absolutely zero customer focus by and American Airline employee - and I asked to sp all with a supervisor and manager with the hope I would get my phone back. Worst service and zero caring attitude I’ve dealt with - and I fly a lot. It will be Delta from here on out. I went on line and filed a complaint and lost and found report - am betting a large amount of money I hear nothing other than an automated reply."

Minusy: "I hate having media flashed in my face. The srewardesses misses me when serving beverages, which is hard to imagine, and rarely happens. We had a particularly bumpy landing. I've flown a fair amount, and I thought our bouncing and jostling was unusual, but then weather is unpredictable - still... I've seen navy pilots stick landings of small planes in worse weather."
Minusy: "No baggage controls from seat 18 to 28 no bags would fit. As we exited all the front rows we're waiting to get there bags stored in back of planes overhead bins. That's just not right, especially when they charge us extra to take a bag for overhead bins storage."

Minusy: "Check in staff was unprepared for volume of people. When asking an American Airlines agent if I could use the priority check in because I had priority seating I was told no. I was informed by a customer going that way that I indeed could. When I got in line for the priority check in, the agent looked over and very loudly said that I was in the wrong check in area. Given the volume at which it was said to me I felt embarrassed, and was upset at the fact that I then had to respond that I indeed was in the correct location."

Really made a tough job much easier. I wish I had thought to get all their names. They made the trip...though others throughout the trip were just fantastic--including especially the wheelchair attendants."

There was no reason she did not let us on other than she wanted to punish us for being late to the podium. We missed our connecting flight and had to rent a car to get home. Corporate American Airline customer relations was awful to work with. They did not care."

Minusy: "Purchased tickets for three of us weeks in advance. Purchased seat upgrades for all three of us for all four legs of our flight. Flight delayed for two hours. When boarding, one pass failed scan. They immediately printed another without comment. While in line to board my friend noticed they changed her seat from 4D to 36F. We returned to complain. They said that seat or middle seat in row 29is only choice. I said we paid for upgrade. They said to ask for a refund at LAX when landing at midnight. Asked passenger in 4D when he got his seat assignment - SAME DAY as flight, paid nothing for upgrade. I signed up for frequent flier program two weeks ago. Will be cancelling when card is received."

Minusy: "The entertainment touch screens are HORRIBLE! It can take up to a minute to get the button you are pushing to respond. It was this way on both AA flights I had (different planes). Also, when the captain or flight attendant chimes in with a message when you are watching a movie, the volume of the announcement is incredibly loud. Last, there was no WiFi available on the plane. It was a 9 hour flight and this is 2016."

Last time i had to stop in Vegas I got stuck there overnigh because my flight had been delayed and to mKe things worse they also managed to Miss my flights connection in Miami after they had booked me a new flight.. With a window seat that had no window. I old the flight attendant that I needed help stowing my backpack in the overhead bin, not because it was that heavy or big, but because the previous flight had been 5 hrs long and after being stuck in the middle seat my back was killing me and lifting my bag over my head would have triggered a muscle spasm. I have a back condition and they refused to help me. She would not even hear me out and insisted on me to check my bag, which I refused to because my laptop and tablet were in there without propper padding to protect them. The same flight attendant had already yelled at a passanger and was making a scene that made several other passengers uncomfortable. i understand the flight was full and they were delayed enough, but the airline clients should not have to pay for the airline's mistakes."
