Drinks service was poor, food was cold
Knowing the menu and meal timing on the in flight screen would have been nice. There was some instructions for getting the menu; but it required wifi and other steps that did not work on first attempt. Just make it simple. Like how you show flight information for the plane. Just show Estimated meal serving start and menu. Nothing fancy, just simple and direct. Why all the wifi business? I apprecieated seeing the maghrib, etc salaat timing on the screen. That was very useful.

I reached airport 4 hours before departure and I get treated like this, horrible service."

So the questions are- why don’t the airport hold a larger inventory of parts, why aren’t there back up planes and why doesn’t the software better cope with these types of situations?"

However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. It needs to be a two-way"

The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . If I was the manger I would fire the whole staff and If I was above the manager I would fire them as well as I’m. Sure this is not an isolated occasion."

We are then asked to check our bag, and are forced to put our 1 bag between our legs, whole many people stored two overhead. Flight was delayed a few minutes and time was not made up in air. Delta changed a few of our flights before we were even off the plane, while other passengers were allowed to keep their original flight (originally we all had the same connecting flight). Looks to me like they overbooked and pulled some of us randomly. Also, my checked bag was sent on wrong plane, and sat unattended at next airport for 2 hours."

Plusy: "Our Delta plane was brand spanking new. Everything worked and the inflight entertainment system was fantastic with many movies to choose from, free headphones, games, tv shows, etc. The crew was polite and the seating at least as comfortable as expected for a 4 hour flight."
Minusy: "The restrooms in the rear of the plane were remarkably small, even by airline standards. I'm a somewhat larger person and I fit, but I know a lot of people who would literally not be able to fit on the toilet without touching both of the sidewalls or risk getting stuck in there. The boarding process at San Jose Del Cabo was the most ridiculous setup I've ever experienced. There were numerous flights boarding out of the same gates and at least 3 or 4 lines for different destinations forming on a ramp just outside the gates. There were guys with signs trying to herd people into the correct lines and then loading the people onto buses which took you out to the planes. The planes were loading from both the front and rear doors and people were getting tangled up inside because of the haphazard loading process. Very easy for a person to end up on an incorrect plane!!"

Minusy: "On the MSP to ATL leg the gate crew made a huge deal about checking rolling bags. They even stopped us at check-in and nearly begged us to check our bags pointing to the backed up jetway. But we had a lot of unpacking to do before checking our bags so we politely declined three times. On getting to our seats there were at least 8 open slots for bags near us. I heard a crew member call forward to say "tell them no more rollaboards" so they forced everyone left to check. On departure they slammed shut several very large empty overheads. WTF"
Minusy: "the older stuardess on my flight from Cancun to Atlanta was very misinformed- told me my carry on wouldn't fit in the over head bin... it did. Told me I had to check my duty free liquor.. I didn't. Told me I couldn't bring all of my liquor in to the US... I could. I just kept saying ok to her just to shut her up, but she ensued with her comments and wrong info as if I don't travel as often as I do. Perhaps she was attempting to be helpful, but it came off as obnoxious and rude especially since she was wrong on every accord. Humbleness and customer service training would do her very good. All other DELTA staff have been great."

Boarding was a bit more chaotic than usual and the gate agent made no announcement about boarding procedure, which certainly contributed to the scrum resulting. I arrived from the Skyclub several minutes prior to boarding time and was unable to find a path through to the Priority Boarding Lane. As boarding began she had to redirect at least seventy-five percent of those in front of me as they were not in First Class. Had she made one or more clear announcements about boarding procedure I rather doubt such a misunderstanding would have occurred with so many."
Minusy: "For the third Delta flight in a row (all First Class) the crew did not make any effort to keep economy class cuctomers form storing bags in the First Class overhead or using the only First Class laveratory during flight. This flight I was unable to utilize the laveratory even once due to this excessive and continuous useage. Trying to do my bit to reduce our carbon footprint, yet I am sorely tempted to return to charter service when disrespect of the airlines own basic service class rules gets piled on top of TSA hassles."

The first leg of the trip, flying from ft Lauderdale to atlanta was ok except for the pilot having to circle around bc he was too close to the airplane in front to land. This made us supposedly late to our connecting flight which by the way was not supposed to leave before 8:10. My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : " I'm sure you were." I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn't say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn't totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I'm glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!"

Waited 7hs to talk to an agent in the airport. 24h wait in Atlanta had to sleep in airport. They wanted me to wait three days in atlanta. They forced me to check a carry on because they didn't have room in the plane. They told me my bag would arrive with my flight. It never did. I still dont have by only bag. Unbelievable."
Everything was very good, with the exception of the amount of food/snacks we were provided. This flight was 10 hours long, plus we sat on the tarmac for almost two hours for the de-icing (no complaints about that). And during all this time we were given one hot meal, which was a good quality. Plenty of drinks and water. But after that - no snacks and no food until about two hours prior to landing. And then it was only a cold sandwich. They stated after boarding that 'service was going to be limited' during Covid restrictions. We can understand that, but we should have been notified before boarding or the airline should have found the way to distribute some packaged food/snacks during boarding, to limit crew's interaction times. Instead, we were not prepared to be starving on a transatlantic flight! We've flown many time before, but this was the first time we were literally hungry. And we had no food with us, because you are not allowed to bring any food into US.

Good seat recline is great if everyone is reclining, if not you will have someone in your lap. Had to ask person in front of me to not recline during meal. What really bothered me though was paying for a reserved seat and finding out we had been moved to the dreaded back row due to an equipment change. Strongly suggest passenger notification for this move. Was able to re-reserve seats on check in but there were some significant angst when I found out about this mischief."

Minusy: "We made it to the gate from our connecting flight at 1pm, flight was supposed to leave at 1:10, we got to gate after RUNNING from gate A to Z just to be told the plane left. After researching, we found out the plane didn't depart until 1:43pm. Horrible horrible service. Will NEVER fly with Lufthansa or into Germany."

Minusy: "The airline was rude. They made us miss our flight and sent a generic sorry email instead of trying to actively right the wrong. They were inconsistent in their timing and unhelpful when we asked for help with traveling with two little kids. They lied to me about which desk to go to and traumatized my children."
Plusy: "the two older female stewards spoke slow enough so I could understand. The customer service rep in the lobby was always friendly, knowlegeable and able to help me. For example, I did not know, when boarding, if we had to show our passports, but I asked him and we did not. I did not grasp the five levels of boarding he mentioned. I knew our group was not handicapped and we were economy, but I did not really know if we were group 4 or 5 to board."
Minusy: "There was one female steward who made me take my carry on bag from the upper deck and store it below my seat so another lady's much, much larger bag would fit. Her bag was so large, I can't believe it met the standards. On the other hand, this procedure may be the way things work out,for the good of everyone, but it came as a surprise to me. To accomplish the task, she even asked another female to move her carry on from the rack above her to another several rows down. This lady's hair was too big for such a small plane. She talked way too fast in the first monologue. The plane seemed cheap and the sub airline had an air outlet that would not turn off and leaked with water mist. There was an air conditioner that also had a water vapor leak overhead, which my son said was a 'strip' which he could not control. We were seating in the back row. We noticed the plane was operated by Mesa airlines and the plane was assembled in Brazil, giving me a feeling of excessive cost cutting. Also, the pilot had an accent that sort of added to the 'Brazil' thing that he was not a native English speaker. However, he had a good landing at Atlanta near midnight. I did not feel I was on a real 'United' Airlines flight."
Delta operated. Missed connecting flight due to single late crew member in dfw. 1.5 h late. Missed work and incurred costs of over $800. Delta failed to hold connecting flight(s) at gate and it actually left EARLY. Fail. Never again.
A heads up on filling in an e-ticket prior to flight departure would have been helpful.
Nice flight but from Entebbe to Amsterdam they didn’t get me what I requested for the baby.
They canceled our flights but they flew anyway.

This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

No air controls on this plane - so it was overly warm. 10 hours of overly warm makes for a stinky passenger. Oof."

I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."
Minusy: "Everything. The crew seemed to skip over me and my husband multiple times. So we sat there with garbage the whole flight. My entertainment was broken and they had no solution but giving me $30 to use at the duty free shop the same day as the flighty. I paid extra for premium seating in an exit row and that was their idea of fair compensation. The crew ran out of vegetarian food so I didn’t eat anything but cold stale bread. The crew was non-existent most of the flight."

Minusy: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Plusy: "We were on a 9 hour flight which is pretty exhausting on its own. However, Air France provided you with a pillow and blanket, as well as headphones, so that you can make the best of the long trip."
Minusy: "The chairs, for whatever reason, after just not that comfortable. Too squishy and they make noise when you adjust your position. I fidget a lot on flights so I felt like I was making a lot of noise. Also the plane didn't have cold air, do you get toasty pretty quick."
