Plusy: "The customer service phone number was impossible to get through on in order to take to someone within 24 hours of my flight in order to make my Special Meals request as I have Celiac's Disease. I was unable to make this selection at booking as when you book through a third party like Expedia, which I did, you cannot access the same internal tools required to make that selection. You can ONLY then call once you have checked in before the flight in order to let the airline know of your Special Meal needs. This is not only a terrible policy as it undercuts those who ARE ultimately still buying tickets to their airline, and that the airline is CHOOSING to sell. It provided me with an extremely subpar experience of the airline but left up to the last minute with doubts about my ability to board a 13 he international flight without the reassurance that I would have ANY meals aboard and no other options should that be the case. Right before my flight departed I was reassured that the information we had requested Expedia relay to the airline internally the day before, who we called when we couldn't get through to the airline, WAS able to convey this Special Meal request and I was going to have food on the flight, so I then did not purchase a bunch of snacks in the airport to have as options. The first meal in, no Special Meal was provided and I had to explain then entire situation all over again. They assured me they would figure it out and get me taken care of. However, no one who assisted me conveyed this to anyone else on the flight and every time food was dispersed, same situation. This was stressful and exhausting and the options provided me were modified to be gluten free, such as an entire plate of fruit for my snack, instead of the protein heavy snack everyone else received, because there truly wasn't extra for that type of dietary restriction. This was stressful and I was very hungry on the flight. One of the attendants got me a few chunks of cheese from first class, but otherwise, it wasn't great. I would advise travelers with Special Meal requests NOT to fly with AirCanada."

I could have used my Smart Phone but it's kinda on the small side to watch a full length movie and drain my battery to 0. The Air Canada website was equally not helpful. I had to purchase their Ipad rental for $10 Canadian Dollars in order to watch a movie. Funny, they only had maybe 12-15 movies to choose from. Additionally, the bathrooms were disgusting and had broken parts everywhere. Flight was filthy. Looks like their just trying to scramble turning their flights around. I felt sorry for the people waiting in Honolulu for their flight back to Vancouver. Shame on you Air Canada. Time to upgrade your fleet please. You need to have better cleaning crews and definitely upgrade your Rouge Player system to accept PC's."

I didn't pay for a meal but it would've been nice to have some pretzels or something like that. The controls for the lights, and attendant call button were on the hand rest. It was very uncomfortable since it was a raised section, and more than once I turned on the light without meaning to do so. I won't fly Air Canada Rouge ever again, if I can help it."

Plusy: "This was a horrible experience throughout. From the start, we were told to board but left standing on the jetway for 15-20 minutes before we were allowed to board the plane and take our seats. Went downhill from there."
Minusy: "Uncomfortable. No space, "Entertainment" had one use their own device but no place to power the device. Audacity to charge $10 to use a rental device for entertainment when other airlines provide free of charge. No air-circulation on board. Screaming children the ENTIRE 6 hour flight. No complimentary snacks."

Plusy: "Price was good and flights arrived timely"
Minusy: "It's a typical new aircraft that is crowded when full"

Plusy: "That there were no delays."

Minusy: "Excellent flight, no entertainment, really surprised that Air Canada Rouge has no tv monitors for individual screening. Seats are very close with the rows tightly positioned"

Plusy: "Having the leg room of the emergency aisle"
Minusy: "29f is marked as a window seat, it is not. It's an emergency exit. No outlets were provided so I had nowhere to charge my phone. My on flight entertainment system was stuck in the out away position. I was very sick and the emergency exit had a terrible draft upon landing"

Plusy: "The movies to chose from were decent and the flight crew was very friendly."
Minusy: "Our flight from MSP was delayed and we missed our connecting flight in Toronto, which was the last flight out on Sunday. I understand they were closing for the night, but we were told to call a number to rebook and turned away. And we had to hang out in the airport all night, until the first flight Monday morning. They only had one door open for boarding/security the next morning and we almost missed our flight!"

Plusy: "The flight attendant."
Minusy: "Toronto Terminal F is kind of how I envision a third-world country. At least at the higher-number gates, it's very dreary, with an occasional flying insect and signs hanging from the ceiling. Worse is the lack of air conditioning and the sporadic wi-fi service. Worst of all was the almost two-hour delay and changing our departure gate at least five times. Two fellow passengers (one a native of Toronto) said it was always like that. The trip from Toronto to London and back was fine, but I'll try very hard to avoid Air Canada and its Terminal F."

Plusy: "The crew was friendly and polite."
Minusy: "You really need to make those seats somewhat more comfortable. I'm an average sized person I think, 5'6" and 150 lbs, but I found the seats very hard and generally small. Also, please stop serving those hot pockets as a snack and please top charging for potato chips!"

Plusy: "The flight attendants were wonderful. Everything was great but they stood out to me and my experience."

Plusy: "Crew was nice. Landing was good. I liked the wifi entertainment portal."
Minusy: "The flight was delayed 1.5 hours due to problems checking people in. I waited in like for 2.5 hours just to check my bag. I was a disaster all around. The seats also didn't have screens; on a long flight, you have to have entertainment screens..."

Plusy: "Ease of boarding"

Plusy: "Flight was on schedule"
Minusy: "Plane sat on Tarmac for 45 mins Flight attendant was busy chatting personal matters non-stop and was loud, when passengers were totally annoyed from waiting 45 mins to deplane"

Plusy: "Not much"
Minusy: "A 3.5 hour layover is more than sufficient for a connecting flight. Air canada messed up and almost lost my luggage in toronto. This airline has the worst customer service. Pay for food on a 4 hour flight? Are you kidding me?"

Plusy: "Nothing"
Minusy: "Never happened since the first fligh never landed. Has to be rebooked on a united flight which took me to destination."
