My bags were searched twice and while I fully support security this was excessive"

BUT kayak booked an ECONOMY LIGHT fare that required payment. It was not as advertised and a total head ache for check in."

There were a few good movies to choose from."

It was early morning, who would eat a sugary chocolate chip cookie for breakfast? But otherwise, I would fly with Lufthansa again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you!!!!!!"

I was pleased to find my luggage in Athens as Lufthansa was the only airline that in the past twice had misplaced my luggage and had to wait for one day to get them. 3. The flight arrived at the scheduled time and going through the airport , security to my connection was especially easy. 4. The sandwiches also at the airport were tasty."
Minusy: "1, It isn't really a 100% complaint because I'm also responsible. As I was waiting for the dinner to be served it took more time and I felt asleep watching a bad movie, so I missed dinner when I finally woke up. This is the reason I have no opinion about the food. My sole complaint is about the general practice in all airlines that they serve first the slim minority that does not eat meat. Democracy means that the majority should be served first. Unless the airlines consider the vegetarians as some kind of sick people! 2. The crew didn't offered us enough liquids during the flight and the excuse that they didn't wish to disturb our sleep is too lame."

Minusy: "I wished to change to an earlier flight with plenty of seats available. the Lufthansa ticket agent stated the only way, as I had booked a "light" fare, was to pay a full-price one-way economy ticket--plus luggage--for about 380 euros with no credit for my current ticket. After booking a day-room at a local hotel, I checked in on-line and discovered for 115 euros I could have upgraded to business class, with luggage included, and been accommodated on schedule changes. My suggestion to Lufthansa is if they intend to rip their customers off it's best NOT TO LET THEM FIND OUT ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE, or if they're simply too incompetent to match marketing offers to their booking department they could save considerable income and reputation by closing the ticket office. As it was, the impression was a low-class money grab. It's not like they can count on their partnership with United to make them look good."

Minusy: "Seats recline too much. When the person in front of you reclines his/her seat, you feel like you're in a tunnel with the seat back just inches from your face. However, the flight attendant was very kind and asked passengers to lift seats for the main meal, which was very nice."

Minusy: "There was a baggage strike in Copenhagen. We sat on the tarmac for about an hour awaiting a gate opening. The flight to Chicago took off an hour late and we missed our connecting flight into Columbus. And our bags never arrived in Chicago."

Plusy: "Economy Plus is great (I’m 6’10”) & had plenty of legroom! Good food, great service, nice entertainment package and got to stay in SAS lounge until boarding!"

Minusy: "Not helpful with stroller. Wanted us to sign off that they were not responsible for if stroller broke while handling it. Insane. They said it “might “ to big even though they didn’t know what measurements would be too big. We’ve flown for the last 3 years with this stroller but different airlines and never heard of such thing. (Since it’s the smallest city mini double stroller there is and folds flat- super small!) first time we flew SAS all. We didn’t sign anything and gate checked it and all was fine but some incompetent crew at check in. Not very helpful finding seats with all four of us. Put us in different rows. Could work on their customer service for sure."

Minusy: "The flight good bit it’s always crappy when you loose your luggage"

Plusy: "I liked that it was available for me to return to Amsterdam in such late notice. Got there quickly and even earlier (10 mins) then expected."
Minusy: "No on offered me anything to drink or a snack the entire flight or even a hand towel but others in front and behind me were receiving them. I didnt even feel acknowledged during the flight. Even though the tine was good, the price was way too high but since I was desperate I paid it."

Plusy: "Flight attendants"
Minusy: "Hottest I have ever been in a plane (we were in 40G and H) and I “run cold”. We were sweating and drinking water like crazy (they gave us one bottle and did not routinely walk the aisles handing out more). Luckily we brought our own water. Early June and headed to Scandinavia, not someplace hot. Seats were hard and I put my unused blankets under me."

Plusy: "Boarding was smooth, luggage came out quickly."
Minusy: "No entertainment, only coffee and tea served."

Minusy: "Check-in was a disaster. Took almost one hour for a trainee to check us in. Printed 8 bag tickets (for 2 bags) and after we complained was told there was no line at immigration, so should be okay. Guess having a 3 year old wasn’t enough for us to get any compassion or expedited service. At gate. No early boarding for children."

Plusy: "Flight was unremarkable in every good way. Food was above expectations and the crew was exceptional."

Minusy: "Expensive rates on luggage"

Minusy: "I had requested an aisle seat and on both flights to and from Stockholm and Chicago had to sit on the very last row in the middle seat between 2 people who seemed to exceed the "weight allowance" that seem so important now when you flight unless you spend a lot a money on the ticket and it then becomes irrelevant !!"

Plusy: "I liked that boarding and take off went smoothly. The cabin crew was extremely nice and always was there when you need something!"
Minusy: "There was no snack served."

Plusy: "Great crew, on schedule."
Minusy: "SAS is packing in 200 passengers in their Airbus 321, so no space and seat comfort like 0. Also make sure you have paid for bags, Kayak will sell you tickets that don't include bags.so double check your reservation. If you are stuck with a ticket that doesn't include bags, call SAS an add bags $35 per bag. Do this at least 24 hours before departure.SAS is the only one that can add the bags, kayak is unable to add bags after purchase."

Plusy: "No entertainment. Food not part of basic deal. But was both no problem for me because it was a short flight. On both points I rather would say: N/A"
Minusy: "Chairs were narrow and not so comfy."

Plusy: "I purchased Plus and found it a good value. My seat on the overseas leg was comfortable -- though it could have reclined better. The food & drink service was conducted as at an elegant restaurant."

Plusy: "Good boarding, crew nice and professional, lots of entertainment choices, plenty of bathrooms. Overall a very good flight."
Minusy: "No opportunity to rest on flight back home and wine a bit expensive for a European flight."

Minusy: "gate change at the last minute across whole airport, and I am in a wheelchair so it was very challenging. people at airport not accommodating, kind or friendly"

Minusy: "Why can't SAS ever be on time? The last 4-5 flights I've been on have connected me either too late or just barely in time for connecting flights. Please be more like Swiss."

Minusy: "When we booked there was no mention of paying for the checked in luggage. When we showed up at the airport we were told to pay the inflated $75 for each bag. It was ironic since it was 6am flight and the plane was half empty. It left a bad taste for us and we are not sure if it was kayak fault or sas."

Plusy: "I really don¨t know. As my connecting flight was delayed, my tickets were cancelled and I never reached the flight to Sundsvall."

However same crew member kindly attend people coming next to my wife and me. During the rest of the flight no one even direct us a single word. Seems that SAS crew's attention depend on your ethnicity."

Minusy: "I understood I could check one bag. Nope. Checking one bag cost me $67. So much for saving money."

Minusy: "Discovered that I would have to pay 70 euro for my bag check-in. Not fun at all."

Plusy: "So far best flight I've ever experienced ! I was traveling to Europe and both ways I was pleasantly surprised, planes were on time , super nice crew and great food , Way to go SAS !!!"

Minusy: "Seats are allowed to recline to far. When you are sitting behind someone who has reclined their seat you have no room"

Plusy: "Small but very efficient airport Pilot actually flew lo for a period of time to enjoy the view of a Russian village and fjords and glacier"

Minusy: "We were to fly from Bergen to Oslo, and then from Oslo to Stockholm. However, the flight from Bergen to Oslo kept getting delayed, so we were eventually put on a direct flight to Stockholm from Bergen. But for the 5 hour delay, we were given a food 'dinner' coupon that could have only bought a slice a pizza which we felt was extremely poor. Expected a better compensation for the long delay."

Minusy: "Route not following great circle, takes too long for CPH-BOS, should be 6.5 hours."

Minusy: "Seats are bit dence. It would have been nice to get a complimentary soft drink, even it's a short flight"

Plusy: "Loved the time of the flight. The airport was not at all busy and the flight was not full. The crew was awesomely friendly and the flight itself was perfect. We love SAS,"

Plusy: "They had a kiosk, which was nice. In the US (Dulles) on my way out, I had no way to print a picket without waiting in line. I don't have a printer at home and the mobile ticket system was not working, so I had to wait in a very long line despite the fact that I had no luggage just to get my ticket. Every other airline had a Kiosk. In Gdansk, I was glad to see that they had a kiosk."
Minusy: "Although I could print my the ticket for the first leg at the kiosk, I could not print the second. I asked the woman at the desk, and she could not print either. I had to fly to the connecting airport with no connecting ticket in hand."

Minusy: "Lost 4 out of 10 pieces of luggage from our group, and damaged one piece. Got 2 pieces of luggage 5 days later, one piece 7 days later, and the last one 9 days later."

Plusy: "food and movies were great. appreciated the coffee and tea"

Minusy: "We had only a 45 minute window to connect our flight from Oslo to Trondheim and that wasn't nearly enough time to get off, get our bags, which one got lost so we had to deal with that, re check our bags, go through security again and walk 10 minutes to the next hanger. We ended up missing our connecting flight. It was an awful experience especially being in a foreign country."
