Flight from Dusseldorf to Zurich, then Zurich to Los Angeles. in Dusseldorf, SWISS oversold the plane by 25 passengers. It was unbelievable, SWISS was randomly determining who would not fly and miss their other connecting flights in Zurich. It was by shear luck that we were able to keep our original reservation. SWISS needs to realize that this type of problem is serious. I can't imagine every flying SWISS again."

Sure we made up the time in the air but the process to get on the plane was frustrating."

The food was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised that I could have wine with dinner or any time the attendants offered beveragess. The attendants were always professional and helpful. They all were fluent in English as well as several other languages. It was a nice touch when the attendant wore white gloves when he or she was collecting passengers' trash after meals and/or beverage service. I loved the cheese that was served at dinner. The warm croissants served at breakfast were a very nice touch."

Ironic that this happens to people willing to spend $'s of dollars for convenience and comfort. should be able to purchase upgrade ASAP with a smile at check-in."

In Swiss on a 50 minutes flight I got a complimentary chocolate, a crossaint and beverage service. Amazing. The crew also has been very helpful and friendly."

Minusy: "Bought the premium economy on Lufthansa, but ended up on Eurowings. Food same as Economy, 1/2 the entertainment choices. Definitely not worth the money."

I was sitting next to a coughing sick person so I wanted to cover my beverages and food as soon as possible. My sound on video didn't work all the time. It kept cutting off. Tried my husband's headphones, but didn't help."

For next time I know that I have to bring my own food.. so bad! While servis time we ordered whisky with cola and after one hour we went to ask for one more cause we wanted and CA told us they dont serve anymore whisky only wine or beer. Besides this things when I came to plane my sit and table tray was dirty so we had to put blanket over... for the first time I write bad feedback but I have to cause it was terrible.."

Minusy: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Minusy: "I’ve traveled a lot internationally and this was the WORST flight I’ve ever had to endure. I felt like I was being tortured and didn’t sleep at all and so slept when getting into Amsterdam rather than being able to explore the city. I was out $200 for the Airbnb (could’ve stayed in the airport cheaper) and $200 for a dinner cruise I slept through. NEVER AGAIN"

Minusy: "I did not enjoy the turbulence, which I suppose is unavoidable. More importantly, I felt quite guilty about the greenhouse gas emissions of my flight. I have decided to cut down on my air travel as much as possible as a way of reducing my carbon footprint."

Minusy: "2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup."

Minusy: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Minusy: "Flight was delayed 8 hours. Arriving at Incheon, discovered ground crew were unaware of our arrival to take this connecting flight. However, we were put up overnight in a hotel, which was nice."

Minusy: "Kayak is a horrible company and not easy to work with. They have screwed me royally and I will say nothing but bad things about them. They should not even be in business the way they have handled my situation including hanging up on me multiple times and changing the rules for flight changes, etc. Saying I am unhappy is an understatement."

Plusy: "Great equipment. Decent entertainment, sparsely filled cabin. Seat change to isle request before boarding readily made with no fuss. I noticed that passengers could actually make out pa announcements both at PDX and in flight. Doesn’t bother me anymore when I can’t but can be very concerning to anyone who rarely flies. Never understood going to the trouble of making announcements both pre-boarding & on-board pre-flight, that no one can even make out. That was not an issue here."
Minusy: "Better lumbar support is always appreciated, adjustable lumbar would be very nice and could make or break an entire flight. No seat on any flight should ever be even the slightest ill repaired. Again, this equipmemt all seemed great. Lastly, since I prefer to always have a water, coke or coffe and or snack in front of me during entire flight, a bit of self serve (grab a water, coffee or snack yourself without having to make staff work a simple task would be nice on every flight. The flight from SEA-DUB was basically great and equipment is always of the utmost importantance."

Minusy: "Worst airline ever. Was over one hour late. I was asking to get rushed through in Dublin in order to make my connecting flight and people were just rude. One security guy even started yelling at me. Very unpleasant experience, do not recommend at all."

Plusy: "took off early once they had accounted for everyone, and arrived a little early too."
Minusy: "While I didn't have to check my bag on the first longer flight, I did have to check it on the connecting flight which delayed me somewhat in getting into the city of London. Not awful, but strange... Free-for-all when boarding, not nearly as organized as it was at JFK."

Plusy: "The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very punctual."

Minusy: "Our plane coming from Dublin was 1h30 late arriving in Lyon (LYS). The gate was annouced very late and there were long lines to pass the security check."

Minusy: "Free-for-all boarding was less than ideal. Boarding by seat rows as on Boston to Dublin flight would have been better."

Minusy: "Our flight from LA to Dublin was cancelled day of and the airline put us on another flight. We came to find out that they did not place my fiancee and myself together. We tried talking to the crew but they seemed apathetic and uninterested in helping us. The said the flight was full and everyone checked in but after boarding we found many open seats.. while on the plane I requested help trying to relocate seats so we could sit together and not a single steward would help us. In the end, we finally found seats on our own... Very unhappy throughout the entire journey the quality of service. Never flown with such rude and unaccomadating service personal."

Minusy: "It would help if ba would hilight fact that this is a code share with are linguistic. Seat were unbelievably small and had to walk to ends of earth for both the gate in Dulles and Dublin. No free food or drink on Dublin madrid sector but thankfully not full so I could stretch out. New planes on both sectors."

Plusy: "Pilot told us the flight plan"

Plusy: "I was surprised at the minimal effort that went into that transatlantic flight. Disgraceful. I'm turned off enough to never fly aer lingus again. It was barely two steps above Ryan Air."
Minusy: "The food looked like one put any effort into it, the coffee only came with milk and no milk substitute, there was only one kind of tea--no decaf and no herbal tea, and no butter substitute for people with dietary restrictions. Just a complete unthoughtful shame. My back is still sore from the lack of ergonomic considerations in seating. The blankets were cheap and thin and the plane was loud with no complimentary earplugs or sleep masks. Awful experience."

Plusy: "Check in in Dusseldorf was easy, bit they made up for it in Dublin!! In Dublin the check in and information desk of air lingus were awuful. Full of attitude and absolutely no knowledge."
Minusy: "Air Lingus is awful! It had 1:20 hours delay that resulted in missing the second flight."

Plusy: "What is there not to like: The crew are courteous and caring, the planes are clean and the price is right!"
Minusy: "The check-in in Duesseldorf was subcontracted and staffed by an uninformed agent which led to a lot of confusion and inconvenience in Dublin. Someone like that does not reflect well on Aer Lingus which I definitely recommend otherwise!"

Plusy: "The flight was nearly empty. Never had that silent, and peaceful flight. Everyone found there space and fell asleep."

Plusy: "Flight attendants seemed bothered by the passengers.. I had to ask 3 times for a blanket. NO leg room. Paying for beverages on Rome-Dublin flight not good."
Minusy: "Smooth takeoffs snd landings. good selection of movies. Liked the irish ones especially."

Plusy: "We were loaded into a bus to shuttle to the aircraft. We waited 30 minutes in the bus with everyone crowded in."
Minusy: "The plane was not handicapped accessible and should have been listed that way. Fortunately my friend who was using a wheelchair was not on that flight."

Minusy: "The tickets we were assigned were separate. I have no idea why you would assign a couple separate seats, but thankfully they were both window seats and excellent bargaining chips. They partnered with United to get us home and only booked out luggage to O'Hare, which was not our final destination. They lost two identical bags along the way from Barcelona to O'Hare. My bet is they're being rifled through in Dublin right now."

Minusy: "The personnel are just not well informed about their jobs and really don't seem to be very smart. Sorry- I fly a lot. These folks are dumb."

Minusy: "Mobile check-in not an option. Seats not available until check-in without paying. Nothing is complimentary on a rather expensive flight."

Plusy: "Lovely crew both in the ground and on the flight - warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Food was fine for the price of the ticket. All around excellent value."
Minusy: "Movie choices were smaller than ideal, and my touch screen was slow to respond."

Plusy: "We liked the US pre-clearence process that saved us a bunch of time. The meals were great. The plane was very new and clean."
Minusy: "Drink service needs improvement. They only came around twice and even after several requests we finally had to seek out a steward to get beverages. The earbuds are very poor quality. We took 2 different flights, each with a different style earbud and they both had terrible sound quality. There is a great Entertainment collection of movies and music but the earbud quality made it difficult to actually hear music clearly or even sound for the movies."

Minusy: "Monitors for flight data and movies kept freezing up. Questions about seating were not answered correctly when getting boarding passes. Asking for donations for UNICEF on board. Paying for alcohol drinks, usually international flights you don't. Food was really bad. Pre declaration went on forever and couldn't get a gate number. The list could go on and on. We travel a lot, first and last time with this company. Oh and TSA people had an attitude problem. Never experienced this before."

Minusy: "No TSA precheck Confusing check-in based on counter location and inexperienced agents."
