Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Seats are comfy and spacious, much wider than Emirates in the same class (who offer only an extra 1/2 inch width over economy). Amenity kit a quality piece that is both practical and useful."

By the time we were told about the reschedule to the next morning, it was too late to get a hotel room (too far away) and was told that I could use a 'Quiet Lounge' at the airport (which wasn't quiet). While waiting to board at 7am the next day, ground staff told us that they had to change the plane so there would be a further delay. On boarding, we discovered that it was the SAME PLANE."

This made the cabin very bright and a difficult environment in which to sleep. Too much advertising before the on board videos, but otherwise content was good."

Plusy: "I travel from Sydney to Europe (UK and Greece) regularly. My experience with Qatar airways was fantastic: I highly recommend it. First of all, the travelling hours are a bit shorter (compared to travelling via Singapore or Hong Kong) probably because of the geography of the cities/connections and the corresponding flight times between Athens-Doha-Sydney. The aircraft was exceptional (I believe it was Airbus A380). It was a double-deck, wide-body and four-engine jet airliner. Cabin and economy class seats were very comfortable and more spacious compared to other aircraft. There was minimal turbulence, which is partially due to the type of aircraft: at least this is my understanding. The aircraft also had wi-fi (complimentary for the first 15 min) and one was allowed to use the mobile phone during the flight (except during take off and landing times). The flight attendants were absolutely amazing. Also, the crew was very understanding and friendly with children. Food was also excellent and in good portions. Overall there was high tech aircraft, excellent service and no delays. I will choose it again in the future."
Minusy: "On the downside, I had a problem with my entertainment device during the whole flight: there was no sound, so I was not really able to watch any movies/TV.. The flight attendants tried to sort it out, but it was not possible. They kindly brought complimentary magazines and drinks/snacks, however it would have been much preferable if I could watch a movie or if free wi-fi was offered for the whole flight, as compensation.. My understanding is that this was not an option, due to problems providing free password..."

Minusy: "After having booked an aisle seat near many family members I was traveling with, a Turkish airlines crew member came and asked me to move seats so as to accommodate a couple that wanted to sit together. I willingly gave up my seat to allow this. The crew didn't have another seat in mind, however, and I spent several minutes simply waiting in the aisle before they shuffled me to the front of the plane and made me sit in a much worse seat--a middle seat nowhere near any of my family members, nestled next to a large man who was clearly extending well into the seat they meant for me to take. It was clearly a terrible seat and I made the following 12 hour flight in significant discomfort. I was very dissatisfied with the crew's behavior. When a passenger books a comfortable seat near my family, and willingly gives it up to accommodate other passengers, they should not be treated so poorly"

Seats on the airplane were so small I could barely get in an out of them. No one to direct me at the gate in Istanbul and explain where I needed to go. Food very ordinary compared to other flights I've taken with Turkish airlines. Thought I was on a different airline flying from Istanbul to Antalya. That segment was excellent."

I would like the Gold members to go first with either a bus of their own to at least with part of the bus reserved and we are allowed first on the plane."
Minusy: "I wasn't given an option to ask for a vegan meal at any point in the booking process. When I asked for a vegan meal on the plane the crew said I should have asked for one ahead of time and did not have a vegan meal for me."

I ended up eating the cost of a whole separate trip because I didn't get back until Saturday afternoon, despite communicating this multiple times to Turkish."

Minusy: "If EgyptAir would distribute a little English sheet how the steps are, where to get the passports back (at the EgyptAir Counter in the main hall at the airport), which lines to go to (we didn't officially immigrate, but still had to go through immigration upon return, which wasn't clear). Maybe a word on legal boundaries of the status in Egypt - EgyptAir had the passport, can we go to the pyramids or not - would be useful, too."

Minusy: "One major safety concern, was that the take off safety briefing was still playing as we took off. On the flight back from Cairo the safety briefing first played in Arabic and then English. The English briefing only started once we were already in the air. If there had been an accident on takeoff, someone flying for the first time wouldn't know what to do or how to get out."

I've never experienced such little leg room and I don't know how taller people even sit in those seats. 90% of the screens were not working at all and were burning hot to touch. Also, what's up with the spray they use along as they walk along the overhead storage bins (insecticide?). We all had to cover our nose/mouths as they walked by. Will completely avoid FlyDubai for any future flights."

Minusy: "This one has multiple problems: 1. First no one clearly tells you where to go for FlyDubai flight and you really have to fight your way to get this information. 2. Then when you know that you have to go to terminal 2 for this flight, it takes them minimum 45 minutes to transport you from emirates terminal to terminal 2. 3. FlyDubai staff in general is less courteous and cooperative than emirates. 3. T2 is minimally maintained terminal with even basic amenities missing in some parts of terminal. 4. It also feels less secure."

Boarding zones we're ignored a crew member just yelled the name of the flight to signal boarding."

Plus I went to try to read the news option- which was actually free and the papers were from 2014!!!! WTH?!There is no room to put everything- no pouch in the seat ahead of you so nowhere to put the food or drink that you have to bring on board or any of your travel things. I have no idea why. The FlyDubai terminal in Dubai is also quite lacking- I felt like I was trapped in crappy restaurant. I'm not certain that I will ever use use this airline again- not impressed."

I paid a lot of money for my business class ticket on Emirates only to have a second flight that was terrible in every way. No one seems to care where my bag may be- I am trekking in 2 days and I have NOTHING to use!! I’ve called every number I can find and emailed fly dubai- each person had shown very little care and not one person can even tell me if my bag left Dallas. Unreal."

The host asked if i wouldnt mind letting the family sit together.I accepted the request where upon the host suggested a middle seat which i rejeceted and notified him that he just passed by 8 empty seats in business class and since the doors were closed I knew were available. He denied the request, had me stand awkwardly while he checked other peoples tickets for 3 minutes to find a single person who was not seated in their middle seat and was forced to move whereupon i recieved dirty looks for the remainder of the flight and right through baggage claim at our destination. I did Flydubai a favor and gave up my seat for the woman and her family. A hassle free otherwise empty business class seat would have been the appropriate response."

The cabin stinks (due to the passengers), they generally don't listen to crew instructions, and it's the only place that every time you land there is someone who is standing up immediately after touchdown and the crew is yelling at them."

This rule was well publicized in media."

Transport bus from Term 3 to Term 2 via Term 1 make extra stops as per driver pleases. This would be last time I go via Dubai on other airlines non Emirates. Toilets in Term 2 also sucks and would rather go on the plane...."
