"The best was the timeliness from JFK to SJU, and the comfortless of the Business Class seats. The worse is their poor choices of meals and beverages (Plate of Quinoa or a plate of Charcuterie). The should put more attention to those details, maybe even give something more generic that most people will love."

The gate agent who didn’t ask for my name tells me I was all the down at the bottom of the list. While I am glad that I got on I wish I knew what method is use to get your name on the stand by list?"

Even tho the airport at San Juan have not night arrivals due to the effects of Hurricane Maria, and on previous days the same flight had been moved to a morning schedule for that reason. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."

My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Plusy: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Minusy: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."

Minusy: "Inexplicably, our preassigned seats were changed at checkin and we were put in bulkhead. This particular Boeing aircraft is pretty poorly designed. Especially the bulkhead in premium economy."

First bag arrived a day late, second after I had left Billund and it was six days before the bag with my clothes reached me. I was told I will have 100 euro credit for clothing, but in the winter and for 6 days, this was not even close to the amount I needed for clothing and necessities, to have my time here."

Minusy: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

I filed a dispute with my bank for the purchase of a $3500 airfare that was required to accompany the $7000 trip I purchased, for the trip of a lifetime to see Egypt and Jordan. This ARRANGANT responded that they were going to take me to claims court. I purchased a flight to Cairo, There were no flights out of Heathrow. That was my connecting flight. Who is responsible ?? kayak, you need to be better than this."

Minusy: "Took about a month to book an infant ticket, then was issued a ticket with a wrong name, which then took another 3 weeks to be amended. When checking in, the agent told me that my daughter's ticket was not linked to anyone and looked like she was flying solo even though I mentioned to 5 different customer service agents that I would like to add her to my itinerary. Just when I thought it couldn't be worse, captain announced that they were having trouble with the AC for my part of the plane, meaning 7 hour flight was hotter than 80 degrees. I should also mention that trash was not collected until breakfast service."

Flight was delayed an hour - I’ve taken 4 BA flights in the last 5 days and every one has been delayed by at least one hour. No longer worth the price."

Minusy: "Reaching our connecting flight. The Bataan death march comes to mind—concourse 3 to 5, oh my! Having got through all the hurdles including incomprehensible up, down, up again down again escalator rides and security pat down for my wife we got to Concourse 5 where we learned our plane was leaving from C gates, but not which C gate. So we looked for directions to C gates. The only signage was for C gates 52 to 57. Common sense would lead one to believe that C gates 1 to 51 existed somewhere in the terminal; but no they do not and not many people are aware that they don’t. There has to be a better way. Perhaps before Brexit becomes a reality you could lean on Germany’s vaunted efficiency to help clean up this nightmare scenario."

Minusy: "I got to the airport the morning of my flight from Warsaw -Dublin and was told my flight was cancelled and no longer exists. Luckily I got a hold of my daughter who was in LA at this time and woke her up at 1am with this issue. She called the web booking company Webjet where you directed us to buy the flight, and was told by Webjet that my flight was cancelled the day before and we were not notified IN ANY WAY! By some miracle, my daughter was able to talk to Webjet and get me on a new flight last minute. Again, this is all happening at 1am California time while I am stranded at the airport in Warsaw! Unacceptable!!! I am however glad that the issue was resolved and I made it home safely. Food only for sale with a British credit or debit card, won't take cash,no menu cards, and even if I'd wanted to get food, no gluten free options, which is not a lifestyle choice for me, but a necessity.Scruffy dog-eared magazines in the seat pocket. Not even an offer of tea or coffee. Check-in online would not allow me to change my seat, although it told me I could. I fly a lot, but tend to avoid BA now if I can, and this flight just confirmed that preference."

Minusy: "According yo the kayak app on the moment of booking the flight was going to Heathrow, but it went to Gatwick. In addition, the tariff did not include one checked luggage as shown on the app as well. Really disappointed with my first use of kayak."

Minusy: "I paid to upgrade my seat and another passenger sat there and refused to move so I had to sit on the opposite side of the row causing me discomfort the entire flight. I have a titanium leg on my right side and always sit in a seat that allows me to stretch my leg right side of aisle. Very dissatisfied"

Plusy: "Some of the cabin crew were friendly."
Minusy: "I was in the premium economy section, which was definitely more comfortable than regular steerage but the 777 cabin was old, and the amenities out of date. No plugs for phone or ipad charging; the in flight entertainment system was buggy and the selection was very limited. There was one drink service. Even business class looks worn out and tattered. No wonder the Gulf based airlines are eating their lunch."

Minusy: "Last seat on the right side and it would not recline. I was ready to sleep on the flight but without even the slightest bit of recline in the seat it was not going to happen. No food No entertainment No comfort No sleep"

Minusy: "Could not do online checkin due to some sort of problem with their booking system, and as a result couldn't choose our seats on the long haul flight."

Minusy: "We arrived at the airport more than 2 hours in advance since this was an international flight. There was NO British Airways staff available to help with obtaining actual boarding passes which were NOT available on the BA mobile app. Although we made the flight with enough time, that was only because the security line was short and the passport control line was short as well. British Airways should have staff available to process passengers and boarding passes, luggage checkin, etc. earlier for their flights."

Plusy: "Staff excellent, check in straight forward, and very pleasant and quick flight."
Minusy: "Very long bus ride from T5 to the Boeing 777, which seemed a little "tired". Seat in Economy Plus showed evidence of previous spillages, screen was smaller than I recall on previous flights."

Plusy: "Even though unavoidable security delays made my husband and me last on the plane, we were able to board, and made all our connections. THanks!"

Plusy: "Everything on the flight was fine the crew was great and the seats had a comfortable amount of legroom."
Minusy: "I was shocked to learn that my ticket did not include any check in baggage allowance. Plus the charge of £60 per bags for our travel party of three was just rude. I was also disappointed to Learn that BA would not honor my One World Saphire status in anyway and give me a free checkin."

Minusy: "Heathrow connection process almost caused me to miss my flight, despite having 2 hours between connections. Security officer at Heathrow was very unprofessional, and took a great pleasure in delaying my processing through the security line. Specifically, I did not remove a PHONE BATTERY CHARGER from my carry-on for screening, so he proceeded to dump out the whole backpack contents, and then purposefully was very slow about putting things back in one by one.As an active duty police officer I understand the need for security and follow all the regulations and instructions to the best of my abilities. However in this case the security officer went out of his way to make the process as slow as he could. Very bad, stressful experience traveling on BA with connection at Heathrow."

Minusy: "Transferring from one flight to another, from one terminal to another. Definately, too litte time for transfer. Rushing, with no time to stop at the restroom."

Plusy: "Nothing"
Minusy: "High cost airline, no service. Food and drink have to be paid for now, prices are ridiculous. Crew rude and unattentive. Easy Jet and Norwegian way better and significant cheaper."

"For a delayed flight, and one that most choose because of the amenities, no one apologized for the lack of amenities. A simple, “we are truly sorry” announced to everyone would have gone miles. Instead, the crew kept trying to almost conceal the total lack of available entertainment and even feign like it might “sort of work” until the last minute. I was traveling with my life partner, who intended upon and did work the whole flight (despite zero internet, even for the little time avail that we are aware of when traveling to/from PR), but also with a just turned 6 year old who had been looking forward to using “his own” screen for the last 2 weeks. Underwhelming to say the least. The crew’s apathy didn’t help."

This could have been prevented if they had done all of the checks beforehand. All of those passengers stuck in a plane during a pandemic. Not very smart !!!!"

When we landed in Miami we discovered our seats had been changed yet again and we were seated in different rows, middle seat!"

I was assigned to enter the aircraft in Group 8... I suggest AA the benefit to enter (at least) in Group 5 for people with PAID in cabin dogs."

Minusy: "Dallas to San Juan San Juan Dallas American Airlines has the worst seat of any airline flown by us fare almost 2000 dollars for round trip and the seat is small hard uncomfortable even for a short flight this is no business class!!"

Minusy: "Initial flight was cancelled after 2 hours delay. My next flight was scheduled the earliest possible by AA which was 24 hours later. No transportation,hotel or miles compensation for this. I had work and responsabilities the next day. TThe scheduled trip was supposed to take off at 7:45. Boarding started late and was very slow. My bag fit the meassurements and still was forced to check it (which I did not want to do as I did not want to be waiting an hour for my bag at my arrival as I had work early the next day. In addition there was airplaine traffic as it was "rush hour" instead of flying at 7:45 we departed almost at 9pm!!!! Have to pay for food Quality of tv monitors very poor And in an uncomfortable position No movie options No wifi although stated the aircraft has Non functioning electrical plug"

My fight from San Juan to Miami on Friday Oct. 7 was cancelled because of hurricane Matthews, since I didnot buy a roundtrip with AA they did not reimburse or offer me a credit for my returning flight. I contacted AA in two ocassions and both times their personnel were impersonal and even rude to me with the whole situation. I ended up losing $250 because of choosing American Airlines. I will do my best to avoid traveling with American ever again, and I will spread the word, as well. I felt robbed, so unfair."
