Minusy: "(1) Was about to miss flight because originally my flight booking was from Benazir International Airport Islamabad but t the time of flight I boarded from a different and new airport in Islamabad which had become operational in Islamabad in the last week of April 2018 . My flight was on 10th May 2018 from Islamabad to Doha to Chicago but neither my online booking site ( Kayak ) not Qatar Airways sent any notification that my Boarding was changed from Banzir International Airport to the newer, bigger airport. Consequently , on the day of flight, I went to check in and board from the Bnazir International Airport but upon reaching the airport I was told that the airport was no more in operation. I was surprised to hear that all flights were to be from the newer airport. By the time I rerouted my taxi to the new airport I was already late for my flight but fortunately the flight from Islamabad to Doha, Qatar was delayed and I made it to the boarding time and flew to Doha , Qatar and then to Chicago."

Plusy: "The flight attendants were professional and polite, I requested low-fat meals and they were good, the entertainment was very good, the air temperature was comfortable, most flights I had were on time."
Minusy: "The legroom was a problem. Seats are kind of narrow, and then, with the lack of legroom it’s somewhat challenging to shift your legs, especially when the seat in front of you goes back! I felt like the person was almost in my lap. My cup even got crunched. I think my biggest issue, though, lay in how I was treated after paying $127.00 to obtain a day pass for the lounge each way. For my inbound flight my purse was branded with an “economy” class luggage type tag, and I was made to feel as though I was trying to sneak in. I had to show my boarding pass a number of times to employees after asking for the location of the lounge in order to be directed there, and then my credentials were examined as though I was trying to get into Fort Knox. Upon arrival at the desk, I was somewhat tersely informed that I had 6 hours. I went out of my way a bit in order to fly Qatar, which is supposed to be so wonderful, and I was underwhelmed. I’ve had better experiences on Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines."

Minusy: "The flight departure from Dar was moved up an hour and the congestion at the airport made it close. Also I need a name tag on a checked piece of luggage. When I asked, I was told that none were available. The check in person was not pleasant or helpful. I also had to watch to make sure that the luggage labels were attached to be sure that they would make it to Chicago. Once on the plane there was an unrudy boy sitting in front of us jumping in his seat, never wearing his seat belt kicking the seat, turning on the light beating on the tray table, calling the flight attendant. The adult ignored the child through the flight. It was one of the worse experiences I have had on a plane. I would have to think very hard before I fly Qatar again."

Minusy: "The food was terrible. Of course, we know this about airline food, BUT I have been on Qatar Airways flights with GOOD food in the past, so I know it can be better. Also, I sat in the baby section, which also happens to be where they put long-legged people. This is no one's fault, but suffice to say, do NOT sit next to 4 5-month olds for a 15-hr flight! Interestingly, since all flight attendants were women, about 50% of the flight did listen to them since there were many conservative Arabs onboard from Qatar or Saudi Arabia (i.e., those who are taught not to listen to or respect women). This made for some frustrating sites to witness but it's obviously not the airline's fault. Poor women!"

Initially charged $1000 for 3 tickets for modification of return trip - confirmed the same and tickets issued (i'm fine with this). But, after i made arrangements for new date, I got a call saying calculation error and asked to pay another $500 leaving me no choices. How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly in Qatar for food....."

Plusy: "Throughout the long flight, the cabin crew was excellent. They were attentive and friendly. They avoided interrupting quiet time and rest time by keeping off the PA system (well done). The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get some business class tickets with points, and the food was amazing. Wine was excellent. This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

Finally, there was no leg room at all. I realize airlines are trying to squeeze every passenger in that they can, but this was ridiculous. I'm 5'11" and my knees were pinned against the seat in front of me."

Could not get any assistance to correct the situation until we were at the gate and by that time no comparable seats were available. Also, my husband spilled his drink; one of the attendants said he was too busy to help with cleanup. Fortunately, another attendant came over after my husband went to the galley to again ask for assistance."
Minusy: "SAS is a train wreck. everything they told us was misinformation from the first delay (there were 5 delays, one each hour, before they cancelled) The whole time they would not allow ticket changes while we watched available flights take off for 5 hours. We had no say in the rebooking - they just said wait you will get an email. The SAS workers need to be trained - how about putting up a sign that says "this line for parking vouchers ony'ly" when 300 people are lined up for assistance."

Minusy: "since all tickets and passports are checked in advance and do not need to be scanned again when boarding, they really should start boarding from the back of the aircraft (after all the business, first-class, and priority folks) because it would really speed things up the main meal was good, but the snack was much smaller compared to my flight from Chicago to Stockholm"

We were not accommodated with hotel vouchers or provided with alternative travel options to our final destinations and missed flights. SAS did not cancel the flight after the first 4-hours of delay which is illegal by EU Standards. None of us were able to leave the airport as we were not told any information about potential flight departure times and it would have been $2000 to re-book with a different airline. No answers were given by SAS over the phone and their staff seemed unaware of any problems."

They only came around ONCE with the beverage cart! (and this was like an hour and a half before they served dinner, which didn't include a drink). They also only came around and offered water ONCE on the flight. Normally this would be every 1-2 hours. Also, the flight was delayed by about 2 hours, and they didn't make an announcement until we were about an hour late. Thankfully, I was getting updates from Kayak, or else I wouldn't have even known we were delayed."

I checked my mobility scooter at the plane door, they put it underneath, but was met by a man who said he was going to take me to pick up the scooter (in the baggage claims area--after I was promised in Chicago that it would be at the plane door when I arrived in Copenhagen). Made me get in an enlarged golf cart, and took me to the "transfer area" -- where I had to get into a wheel chair -- for the rest of the journey to the baggage claim area. Then he stood there waiting for a tip that was to NEVER come!"

I was so thirsty when getting off the flight that I downed 2 bottles of water at the airport. They also didn't offer complimentary alcohol. Other international flights offer an alcoholic drink with your meal free of charge and I appreciate that. I have a bit of anxiety when I fly and that helps take the edge off. I was really disappointed in this. Heck, Air Berlin comes around and refills your wine glass multiple times."

They changed 4 times!!! a) Having tickets with seat assignments free of charge, had the chosen seats confirmed on e-ticket. b) At airport, 3 days before departure, attendant informed that seats assignment had been erased; she made new seat assignments at worse location; c) On check-in, found that seats were changed again to worse even; now to the back, and “2 in the middle of 4”. d) Had to pay to get my original free of charge seat assignments!!! Had similar situations in all my recent TAP flights. Cannot believe is a system problem! Looks like more a TAP policy to short-change (long time, in my case) customers."

The gate keeps changing and they've been getting ther run around all day. No food vouchers. This is horrendous. I am here at Prague airport. We only have a few days here and now one day is gone. They should be reimbursed! We are paying 400 euros for hotel rooms that aren't even being used because of this delay."
