Minusy: "Air didn't work, stewardess were rude"

Plusy: "The crew was nice enough and the food was ok. Crew was great and served water and juice so many times during the flight! That was really good!"
Minusy: "Movie selection was old and many movies aren't of interest. I tried to purchase something on the plane and the card reader didn't work. Lufthansa should update those card readers! Seats are becoming smaller and thinner which means more uncomfortable than they were already."

Minusy: "Flying to Munich- flight was cancelled. Had to rebook on United for the following day. Arrived almost 2 days late (the original was direct, the United had layovers) and missed a planned trip to Neuschwanstein castle. Flying from Munich- The entertainment screen was broken, completely unusable. After a hard reset by the flight attendant several times... Still broken. She said she thought it would fix itself once we were at cruising altitude. Nope. Notified the flight attendant who said vaguely "I'll see what I can do..." Never came back to check, never got offered any sort of compensation (even something like a free mixed drink would have been nice), offer to move seats, nothing. So- ten hours with no entertainment/nothing to watch, just a malfunctioning screen. Food was mediocre. We boarded late, and left almost 1 hour late because they had to wait for an employee (who was not working, just getting a ride back) to board. Literally there and back with Lufthansa was a fiasco. On top of it, we have been back for 3 weeks and are still waiting to hear back from Lufthansa customer service. Apparently they only communicate by email with complaints. Not over the phone. So after repeated emails, just radio silence. Terrible airline."

Plusy: "Everything was wonderful! Lufthansa is spot on from boarding, to in flight service to the moment you leave. They are helpful, friendly, fun and a wonderful crew where I know I'm in good hands!"

Minusy: "Boarding process was torture. Lufthansa invited us to check-in early, but would not allow us to finish the check-in online process the day prior: seemed to be glitch in their computer system. We arrived at the airport early, but no one at Lufthansa could help us with seat assignments in order to seat our 12-yo daughter next to a partent. The airline did not open the gate area until 1+35 prior to the flight (advertised 2-hrs prior), and did not put anyone at the gate-desk until 1-hr prior to departure ...and they still could not help us. Boarding was disorganized; Lufthansa appeared to board by different groups, but there were no announcements as to which group(s) should board. Instead there was just a large crowd milling about, waiting to push their way to a gate agent. Very un-German."

Plusy: "Lufthansa is by far the best airline. All crew members were very friendly and attentive. Food was also great."

Plusy: "First time for flying Lufthansa and I rate it higher than Emirates which was my favorite until now. Reasons? Number one, the crew. On top of every detail for a comfortable flight. Ten hours and I didn't sleep at all( never can sleep sitting up) and I think they came by with extra water and juices at least six times. Two hot meals of delicious food, superb snacks available near the galley, and comfortable seats with better than average legroom."

Plusy: "I have a servere hearing problem and was concerned (since we were late leaving Zurich for my changeover in Frankfurt), that I would be late because I can't hear any loudspeaker systems (either on planes or in airports). I felt that I could get easily lost between flights and not have time to get to the Frankfurt/Denver flight. I told this to the person at the gate in Zurich, and he immediately arranged for someone to meet me in Frankfurt and take me there. I was met by Maika in Frankfurt and she was just excellent--personable and efficient and really helpful. I'm sorry I couldn't remember the name of the person at the gate in Zurich. He was also great. I wouldn't have done this if I had had more time, but this really made my day (and my flight!) ! Thank you!"

Plusy: "Almost nothing was enjoyable about the overseas Lufthansa flights I took. This particular flight, however, did not make me sick like the initial Lufthansa flight to Europe. I also appreciated that the crew asked the passengers in front of me to put their seats up during meals."
Minusy: "The overseas Lufthansa flights have the least space of all the flights and trains I took throughout my trip, including other Lufthansa flights within Europe. The bathrooms were more cramped and fewer in number for an overbooked flight, boarding was disorganized and delayed, the passengers in front of me put their seats all the way back for most of the flight, and seriously, just a few more inches of space would make these long flights 104% better. I think everyone would be happier to fly on less awful planes, including the poor crew who has to deal with miserable passengers."

Minusy: "First flight mechanical issue so couldn't make it to any of my connecting flights and they had to reroute me, however they couldn't get me to Torino so they got me to Milan and I had to take a two hour bus and then the metro to get where I needed to be. And it took them over an hour to reroute my flight!"

Minusy: "the boarding wasn't "ordered" like last rows boarded first to avoid trying to get by people in earlier rows - that slows down boarding."

Minusy: "The plain in Denver landed very hard, hit the ground with a very loud noise and people were very scared. After that the pilot said "sorry for the hard landing but at least you guys are awake"..."

THEY TOOK OUT ALL OF MY HOUSE, AND CAR KEYS , AND MY REMOTE CONTROL FOR MY PICKUP, (ALL ON ONE RING), AND DID N O T PUT THEM BACK INTO MY BAG. The flight was perfect and smooth, although after boarding we had to sit on the runway for awhile, and left late. The crew were highly attentive, helpful, polite, and kept water and juice circulating between hot meals. I enjoyed the movies I was able to watch and my seat was comfortable. Excellent service in Economy Class!!"

The hot snack offered before arrival at Denver was served in the final 50 minutes of the 10 plus hour flight. This meant that the service and tray collection, including the cabin preparation for landing was very rushed."

"I'm not really sure what the difference is between Economy and Premium Economy on these long-haul flights, especially when the plan isn't very full and people in Economy can lie down across an entire row. The seats in Premium Economy are a bit bigger, but you can't recline or lie down and I'm pretty sure we get the same food options as regular economy. You get a little goodie bag that you don't really need. Also, there is really no point upgrading to business class on the short flights with Lufthansa. The seat size is the same as the rest of the plane. So, you're paying $50 or so for a pretty small snack/meal and a curtain between you."

Plusy: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Minusy: "the connection flights was the worse! The gate was changed in Amsterdam 3 times! From D82 to C6 and then to C11. The distance between B82 and C was 20-30 minutes walk. No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."

Plusy: "I think this airline has an attention to detail and level of service which surpasses most other airlines. Whilst remaining competitive these factors make traveling with Finnair a far more comfortable and attractive proposition for me. In addition, Helsinki airport must be one of the best around."

Eventually special meals were located, but not before passengers specifically demanding for them. WTF. Finnair generously pours you a half an glass of wine with meal, for anything more you have to pay for. Supposedly you can buy snacks with money, but there were no menus or pricelists to be found in the seat pockets. Touchscreen functions were barely working on my entertainment screen, the remote control didn't work altogether. WIFI didn't work at all."

Minusy: "flight # 742 canceled put in another plane, from other provider (LOT) going straight to Chicago; was not ready for it; we arrived at airport 2 hr before time of boarding and were rushed to plane going up in 45 min; very stressful; my daughter cried and we had no time to say good bays to family paid for selected seats - money not returned selected special meal - stayed hungry (8 hr fly) because they were not aware about our special needs; Finnair shold take care of it when canceling flight and putting us with other provider."

Minusy: "Being vegetarian I chose the pasta entree. It was good. It included a small salad. All other food was carbs- bread, crackers, a packaged dessert, ice cream, pizza, muffin. I sat on the upper deck and was very comfortable in comparison to other major airlines previously used for this particular flight. The plane was very clean and the crew were outstanding. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for crew, and they were ready with beverages, including tea and coffee, and snacks throughout the flight. In flight entertainment was good. All in all very pleasant flight to and from the U K."

Minusy: "Even though we had booked this flight in September we were never able to choose a seat for this flight. We kept trying and the only way we could pick a seat months and weeks ahead was if we bought an upgrade. We had already spent over $1000 to fly to Paris each and did not want to buy an upgrade. We just wanted the assignment of a seat. When we got closer to the date we were told that we would get a seat assignment at check in. At check in we were told we would get a seat assignment at the airport. At the airport we were told we would get a seat assignment at the GATE! At the GATE the attendant had difficulty finding our seats and finally found them with the help of another attendant. This adding extreme stress to a trip that was planned in September and should have been a pleasureable experience. Our seats were not together and we then had to go on the plane and ask other travelers to change their seats in order to be near each other. This was not our job! We ended up near each other but not together. Then when we arrived in Paris we noticed that our suitcases had been tagged STAND BY!!!!!! We were glad that we did not see that at the Philadelphia airport because it would have added even more stress to a long anticipated pleasure trip to Paris. Next time we will make sure that the tickets we are purchasing (FINNAIR) have nothing to do with American Airlines."

Plusy: "It's a direct flight, it runs on time, the staff on the ground and on the flight are professional, courteous, and helpful. If you are lucky enough to have an empty seat next to you, the seating is quite comfortable, with adequate foot and stretching room."
Minusy: "For in-flight entertainment, the ceiling-mounted screens along the aisle are hard to see and offer no choices for viewing. The food, as usual, was poor. I ordered vegetarian meals, and on the return trip for both meals was given the same soggy pasta with tomato sauce--no protein (why not add a few chickpeas or white beans?)."

Minusy: "My bag was left in London during my connection and arrived in Denver the next day. From what I understand once my bag arrived it was handed off to a third party delivery company. I am not sure how to complain to this company, maybe British Airways has a way to do it since they hired them. My bag must have arrived around 3:30pm in Denver. I got a text at 5pm that my bag was being delivered, which is fine so far. I did not hear before 10pm from the delivery guy about an estimated delivery time of my luggage, at that point he said he would show up around midnight. He eventually arrived at 3am. I don't know how the delivery company plans their deliveries but this is rather unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this happens to me. Do they really always expect people to stay up until 3am the day after an international flight to get their luggage that was mis-handled by the airline.... I'd rather just drive to the airport myself the next day to get my suitcase myself."

The crew was the thing that really made the difference: thoughtful with great attention to detail."

They also check the hand luggage to make sure it fits in the "template" and weigh it (a second time) at the gate. Once on-board, they then announced that they were waiting for other connecting passengers. Took about 45 minutes. It would be nice to know that before booking that they do this, and also before boarding, even if it makes more sense to start boarding before they arrive (but 45 minutes before?). The live map on the public screens in economy showed a dummy/overview map with "waiting for data" the entire flight, rather than the actual live map. Premium did have the data on their screens, and the individual screens also worked fine. Not sure what happened there..."

The flight was over an hour late with no explanation. There was a plane at the gate when we landed, which added to the tardiness of arrival. They were so non Chalant about so many people missing their connecting flights. It was like they already knew they were going to put us on Lufthansa 2 hours later... polish airlines Is awful- the airport personnel even worse. No one respects standing in line. Airport officials kept cutting into the security lines which literally cost me the 5 minutes that I could have made the flight. I am very diasspointed and kayak should not advertise this airline."

Bathroom doors didn’t work, and the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up while using it! Yuck! Had to shuttle EVERYWHERE between flights, before and after. Crew was not attentive, and not so friendly either. Only good note was the young lady who checked our bags in Warsaw and helped get our seats together (after the airline messed the seat assignment up in the first place). Ugh. Worst airline I’ve been on."

Minusy: "Comfort on these long haul flights is not expected in economy - the seat next to me was free which came in very useful as the person in front of me reclined almost immediately and kept throwing himself about in his seat in vain attempts to get comfortable - I was able to move over so I wasn't disturbed by his person. Why they have reclining seats is a mystery - it doesn't make it appreciably more comfortable for the person reclining and it reduces leg room for the person behind, makes it more difficult to watch the screen (despite the tilting feature) and means that the tray table is resting on your knees during meal times."

Minusy: "Boarding at WAW was a joke - very disorganized and cramped gate area. Simple remedy is to give passengers guidance on where to line up for their assigned zone prior to boarding. No individual air ventilation - got hot and uncomfortable at times. Cramped economy seats - and if passenger in front of you fully reclines - your TV screen is almost in your lap. Hot meal included very rubbery chicken - obviously either overcooked or nuked too much. Attendants seemed indifferent or annoyed if you asked for individual attention outside of their normal rounds of serving drinks/etc (all I wanted was a Coke). I was essentially told to go to the back of the cabin and get my own drink... Upon arrival - de-planing took an eternity. We had a large group of teen band members traveling - who had scattered their instruments in overheads all around the plane. So anyone that was behind them had to wait until they figured out where all their stuff was stowed. OK - not necessarily LOT's fault - but again - a little thought and some hand's on guidance by the crew would have made it easier for the other passengers to get off the plane quicker after a 9 1/2 hour flight..."

Plusy: "Flight was good. Warsaw is a well organized airport and easy for transit passengers to negotiate. Flight crew, staff were all helpful and approachable. The captain gave passengers relevant information and cabin crew did the same. Flight was problem free no turbulence no delays no just well run and well organized."
Minusy: "Leg room - I know in economy you can't expect much but passengers are really cramped on the 787. 9 hours of sitting in a very restricted space with little opportunity to get up and about if you are hemmed in between two fellow passengers - and once the idiot in front of me had reclined his seat it became very uncomfortable. I don't frankly see why seats need to recline at all - it does not make it much more comfortable for those "reclining" and certainly makes it considerably worse for the person sitting behind. I also don't understand LOT's boarding process - it didn't make much difference but if you are assigned a ZONE 3 boarding number and it is never displayed and never called, what"s the point."

Boarding in Warsaw was chaotic - no announcements it just sort of started, I was in Zone 3 but there were only lines for Zones 1 and 2. The usual Central European pushing into the line. Flight was nice, smooth and good service. Leg room is limited but that is to be expected on any airline and flight. Would fly LOT again happily. On time, Captain made regular announcements. I arrived safely, as did my luggage. Can't wait for the direct service between Chicago and Budapest."

Plusy: "I am not sure where to start from but each lot employee I talk with had poor English and not the tinyest willing to help just to move , I had a flight back from cezh republic to JFK with a stop in Warsaw When I got to the front desk in the air port to print my ticket the Liady ( work at Sation 236 ) was very rude and anti costumer service she print me only my first fly ticket and when I ask why she " I don't know " I said ok so when u get there you know which get I go or where I will print the other ticket she say I don't know Ok and then I ask her can u check if it a room I. My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

Minusy: "The plane was terribly old and decrepit. None of the television screens worked, the airplane was dingy, brown, worn out looking and just overall gross. This flight was operated by a company called Privilege Style, and while the crew was fantastic everything else was terrible. The food was pathetic and nasty; they served breaded chicken that was so soggy it resembled a used dish cloth. It came with soggy oily vegetables and a cake that had condensation all over it. The only redeeming thing on this flight was the free Polish beer (it was warm). The flight we took going to Poland was on one of their new Dreamliner planes and it was amazing! We were so disappointed with this return flight as it was a stark contrast to the wonderful experience we had coming to Poland. I hope in the future they can discontinue use of these older planes, as it makes flying much more aggravating."

Plusy: "I have been flying with them for the past 16 years(economy seats), and I have to say that their service,and comfort of overnight flights have improved tremendously! Partially due to the fact that they have 787 Dreamliners now, in which the seats are wider and are reclining more than before, the leg room is bigger, the air quality better. The crew members are very professional,not overly sweet,yet caring and understanding,especially when you are flying with small children.As to those complaining about overcharged luggage- read the rules people! If you go over the maximum limit of 50lb for a check in, let's say 2lb,they won't charge you,but don't expect them to close their eyes when your luggage weighs almost double that!"

Minusy: "The flight was delayed an hour, which is fine, but no information was given to why and we started boarding at the updated takeoff time. The process of getting zones lined up and on the plane was a mess. They didn't communicate clearly about zones so every passenger got up and in line, lines weren't directed well, and people kept getting chastized for not knowing what was going on. Once we boarded the plane, we sat for an hour with no reasoning why we waited. When you already have a 9 hour flight, less time stuck in your seat is best. It was hard to understand the pilot when he spoke in English to know why we had delays and any updates while on the plane."

Minusy: "Initially the entertainment system was not working. The crew was notified that screens are not working, so they rebooted it once. After some time, my and my daughters screens were still not working. We used call button to get crews attention. However, no one was paying attention to the lights. At some point there were 8 blue lights on throughout our cabin calling for assistance. I got attention by waving my hand and asking for help. I told 3 different times re my screen. They stated that they just rebooted the system and it will be working soon. My next seat neighbors were hour into their movies. No one did come back and check if I'm Ok if problem got resolved. Then they were even ignoring us and not offering drinks at this point. I felt like I got punished for asking for help. That's when I asked for crew person in charge. She was kind and offered to move to economy plus. We did move for majority of the flight. Enjoyed entertainment. However, when there was 1.5 h left of our trip, they woke us up and asked to move back to our seats since the meal plans are upgraded in this section. I was shocked, somewhat embarrassed to move back. I felt like a person that likes to cause trouble/ complainer being punished. Since we purchased full price ticket like everyone, we should be able to enjoy it like everyone. Airline should compensate clients, if there's issue with airplane. Flight to LT was good, however going home was extremely unnecessarily stressful. I'll try my best NOT to fly LOT in the future."

Minusy: "LOT planes were late to both directions to the place and 2 weeks later from the place. When we flew with my little daughter - toddler to the destination the plane was late and as a result we were late to another plane, so they sent us to the same destination country but to the different place and then I had to find out were to go further while our luggage was lost (found in 3 days). When we flew back, the plane was late once again and I was told that we might will be left until next day morning, so lots of nervous and stress. The food provided was very poor as well - basically just small chocolate bar and water, tea or coffee, so if you are hungry it would not really help you."

Minusy: "I purchased my ticket through Kayak on priceline.com In the description of the fair it was specifically stated that I'm allowed 1 checked in bag. The airline did not send me the standard check in and flight information email, so when out of concer for my flight, I logged in a few hours before to find out that all the good seats were already taken. When I then proceeded to online check in, I was dumbfounded to find out that I do not have any luggage allowance. When I called their English language help line I was connected to a prerecorded message and then promptly connected to a Polish speaking person. Lucky for me I speak some Polish, but if you do not you would have a problem. The person then proceeded to inform me that the flight from Poland to London that I was taking is considered by the Polish airlines as a local flight and for that reason I'm not allotted a free checked in bag. I fly a lot all over the world and this is the first time something like this has ever happened to me. I will now permanently stay away from Lot. They shouldnot be considered a major airline, but a cheap flight air. This way when booking a flight you would know to not expect much from them."

Plusy: "When we got to the airport on the way back home, they couldn't find our tickets. I had online tickets and confirmation, but we were still not on the flight list. We had to go to the ticket counter for them to clear it up and put us back on the flight. The flight itself was not bad. The flight attendants are a bit rude and condescending. The seats and entertainment was not bad."
Minusy: "1. Cancelled our outgoing flight hours before it was set to leave; notified us via email; barely got re-booked via different airlines and had to take 3 different flights to reach out destination; missed the 2nd flight because LOT put us on a flight that was departing 30 minutes before out 1st flight arrived. 2. When we got another 2nd flight, we arrived at our final destination without our bags. LOT assured us that our bags were on our flight before we boarded but calling and confirming that they were able to transfer our bags (only had 40 minutes between flights), but of course, it was a complete lie. We did not get our bag until the next day in the evening over 24 hours later. At that point I was happy they found them and gave them to us. 3. Turns out, they cancel flights pretty often and they also book people on transfer flights that are too close for people to make it. We traveled with a handful of other passengers that had the same experience and people were in tears about their horrible travel experience. 4. Warsaw Airport - they only have 5 passport control officers clearing travelers and because they don;t have lines or any type of organization of these travelers, the lines our out of control. People are pushing each other, crying because they are missing flights or not feeling well because of no air and all the pushing and shoving. I was pregnant standing in the line for over 40 minutes. They would not let pregnant passengers or passengers with kids with them pass in their disabled line. Only people in the wheelchairs were allowed to pass there. Horrible airport and even more horrible airline! PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF AND DO NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION."

An apparently overbooked flight led to a cascade of errors - there seemed to be a total breakdown in communication between the gate/services team and the ground crew, etc. as to where the extra passengers came from and what could be done with them. They even admitted to their being many misunderstandings among the LOT staff themselves as they struggled to rectify the situation. The worst outcome was that we got trapped in the bus, right outside the plane, for 30 minutes. They had sent us to board while back at the gate they were still arguing over who should actually be on the plane. During this time there was no sign of the cabin crew at all. After 10 minutes or so the driver left to go and have a chat with some of the ground ops team and we were left on our own as the windows steamed up and small children started to cry. The whole thing was an appalling exercise in miscommunication - both between staff themselves and between staff and passengers."

Plusy: "The food was good for an airline. on business class dreamliner from Toronto to Warsaw the seat is comfortable, if a little short for a 6'5" person. In the sos called "buisness class" to Israel the seats are as crampped as any cattle class of a low cost. I wish those idiots that invented "euro club" would understand that it is a first class ripp-off and that if they are only flying two people per side using real comfortable seats makes faar more sense. In short - euro club is BS of teh worst class."
Minusy: "The atitude of teh staff on teh flight was OK. Other than that very sour including teh check-in and teh businss club. Going through the border control in Warsaw took 45 minutes. Luckily the flight was delayed. In short, the attitude is strictly old fashion eastern block. On the dreamliner business classs the TV's did not work, but in any case they are way too far (about 6 feet) from the passanger for comfort. Very impractical."

Plusy: "I love flying on the Embraer jets. Very comfortable. Flight was punctual, crew were friendly and helpful. Cabin had a good atmosphere. Warsaw Airport is a great airport to transit through."
Minusy: "The meal service is a bit inconvenient. First round, they sell food. Second round, they give out complementary drinks (tea, coffee, water, no juice or soft drink). Third round, they give out a complimentary snack. It takes ages (more than half way through the flight) for free snack to come around! I would rather eat my bar before getting my drink. If you could reverse the order I think it would work better. That is, give out the free snack, then the free drink, and then lastly sell drinks and snacks to those still hungry."

Minusy: "I fly 35 years at least 2 times a year to different companies. For the first time in the life of the company flew Lot (and the last) and was unpleasantly surprised: 1. The stewardesses did not hide their antipathy towards the native speakers of English and Russian (they were scornful and rude), although they were friendly and attentive to the passengers speaking Polish, 2. The food is tasteless and small (I have ordinary needs)."

Minusy: "Many people on this flight were bothered by the fact that their families were split up all over the airplane and no one could sit together. During boarding there were groups of people who had all been split up and were desperately trying to switch seats with others. I was traveling with a 15 year old, and even though she is not a small child it was very nerve wrecking to be seated 20 rows behind her, not being able to keep an eye on her (even more so because she gets car sick and has thrown up on airplanes before). I don't think I've ever flown where my group was not at least seated in pairs. This was very disappointing."

Plusy: "Food and entertainment was ok. They usually charge for any alcoholic beverages, though."
Minusy: "Extremely rude staff (allowed a passenger to almost break my hand luggage with hers, and literally laughed at my concern,) kept us on plane for 2+ hours with minimal info given on the problem, then de-planed and kept us waiting at Warsaw airport for another 2 hours (no food, water or even a manager appeared until the end of that 4 hours, by the way, and only after a screaming mob of passengers formed,) then kept us on the new plane for nearly another 2 hours. This made for an approximate 6 hour delay, with minimal comfort, food, water, info or sympathy throughout, nor an offer to switch our flights and/or provide night accommodation due to the 5+ hour delay on this evening flight (as is within our passenger rights.) The plane finally arrived to JFK way after 1 a.m., which completely ruined weekend work and social plans, not to mention how exhausting and disrespectful of an experience it was. PLEASE NOTE THAT EVERY SINGLE OF THE FOUR LOT FLIGHTS I'D UNDERTAKEN THAT WEEK WERE DELAYED IN A SIMILAR FASHION - AS IN, WITH LITTLE INFO OR EXCUSE. No, thanks, Lot - and you should refund us all."

Plusy: "The entertainment on the plane was great. Large selection of movies, music, and TV shows to keep yourself entertained. The dinner was adequate. It was also nice having the overhead screens continually update our flight progress."
Minusy: "The seats are incredibly cramped, by the end I was feeling seriously claustrophobic. It didn't help that we left late. The boarding process was a mess, nobody seemed to know what to do, and the announcements were all mumbled to the point where I was just guessing what to do. The second meal served was inedible as the bread was completely stale. Also, one of the toilets was broken and kept flushing, even when sitting on it. Like the boarding process, disembarking was sloppy and confusing. It took a very long time to open the door, and they only told people at the last minute that they needed to get their passports out."

Minusy: "Then the flight from warsaw to JFK was fine, but when we landed there was only 10 minutes for me to get to my next flight and i asked the attendant if she could call my gate ahead and tell them I'm trying to make it, and she grunted and told me to sit back down. Then i proceeded to go to baggage claim where my bag never showed up and when I finally saw that it wasn't showing up I sprinted to my next flight and got to the door 15 seconds after it closed. Then i had to spend the night in NYC and was unable to go to buffalo unitl the morning after having spent already the whole day in the airport since my first flight didn't take off until about 5 hours after it was scheduled. And now I still do not have my bag, and jet blue says they never got it from LOT airlines"

Plusy: "The food was good, the flight crew was curteous altho not English speakers."
Minusy: "The flight was one hour delayed and during boarding most of the time only one person checked us all in for a full dreamliner. There were at least four other LOT employees standing around who could have pitched in. I had a window seat with a large man next to me who overflowed into my space making it uncomfortable to just sit. I couldn't even cut my meat without bumping him. Because LOT upgraded random people before the flight, I would suggest they wait until they board and see who doesn't fit in the tight space and move those people."

Plusy: "My baggages were delivered to my residence the next day intact"
Minusy: "After landing at DENVER I was at Baggage Claim Area. As instructed at the time of Boarding at Chennai. A British Airways staff asked to show my Baggage tag and Boarding Pass. After seeing it he said your baggage have to be claimed at DALLAS and not at DENVER. Kindly rush as time is short. MAYBE HIS INTENTION WAS GOOD. He must of thought that it will get delayed if I have to claim baggage and proceed for connection as the flight was delayed."

Plusy: "Great dinner. Friendly service."
Minusy: "Small video monitors with poor picture quality and sound was also difficult to hear. No power jacks. Oh, and 2 hours sitting on the tarmac because of a “bag discrepancy.” If the bags can’t get along, who really cares!"

Plusy: "747s are good stable planes in flight"
Minusy: "The greatest problem was dealing with the usual chaos and discomfort of traveling through Heathrow airport. Primitive and time-consuming transportation system between terminals- Had to ride overcrowded buses packed with so many people that your body was pressed against your neighbor. Inadequate number of restrooms and poor signage to find them. Bad selection of restaurants. Then at the terminal, boarding time listed as 10:40, but they did not even announce the boarding gate until 10:40. Then a 10 minute ride on another overcrowded bus to the plane which you had to board by a staircase (and a staircase to the door on a 747 is no small thing!) Although flight was smooth in the air, the pilot landed so "hard" I thought the landing gear must have been damaged!"

Plusy: "Good and comfy plane. More space to seat than Ryanair or Wizzair."
Minusy: "No complaints."

Plusy: "NA"
Minusy: "The transfer from T5 to T3 was chaotic. Queues to join queues to get the transfer bus. People were getting caught on a moving escalator because the crowd in front had nowhere they could go to make room. Extremely dangerous! It took longer to get from T5 to T3 than it did to get from Dublin to London. Boarding in T3 for the flight to Denver was almost as bad. Bodies everywhere, no organisation and no help. Then the aircraft itself was so old with uncomfortable seats and an almost unwatchable screen. I will never transit through LHR again."

Plusy: "Crew and food"
Minusy: "A day before my flight it was already known that it is delayed (how possible...?) and it was delayed. Even though we were on time to board plane to Boston we had to wait for another flight."

Minusy: "terrible seats. unable to recline my seat. horrible experience for 8 hours..."

Plusy: "I liked the fact that the customer service on board was pretty spectacular & very clean bathrooms."
Minusy: "It was extremely warm throughout the flight and the seats weren’t too comfortable."

Plusy: "plane was not full so plenty of room to move around etc"

Minusy: "2 drunk guys speaking Russian I think totally ruined the flight. They were ridiculously loud, making it impossible to sleep. Drinking multiple wines, they got louder and louder and more animated and sloppy. Really gross and for a 9+ hour flight, not enjoyable. Eventually, a flight attendant gently told them no more to drink and was very good. But it was too late. I have flown a ton and have never heard passengers this loud, in a foreign language. In addition, one of them was quite large with a bald head, thus intimidating. We had a very long day and just wanted to rest and that was not at al possible."

Minusy: "Plane departed late and stalled at landing- delay caused me to miss connection and set me back getting home by 7 hours at the end of it all."

Plusy: "Everything was great , food was excellent and included clotted cream !!!!"
Minusy: "Nothing"

Plusy: "Not much, crew were pleasant though and the flight on time."
Minusy: "It was like being on a really cheap budget airline, but paying expensive prices. Food only for sale with a British credit or debit card, won't take cash,no menu cards, and even if I'd wanted to get food, no gluten free options, which is not a lifestyle choice for me, but a necessity.Scruffy dog-eared magazines in the seat pocket. Not even an offer of tea or coffee. Check-in online would not allow me to change my seat, although it told me I could. I fly a lot, but tend to avoid BA now if I can, and this flight just confirmed that preference."

Plusy: "Competent crew. Arrived early."
Minusy: "The plane was so old it had signs that read, no smoking in the lavatories. The entertainment screen was small and slow to respond. Should be in a museum."

Plusy: "Checking documents on entering gate area rather than at boarding time, made for more efficient boarding"
Minusy: "Delay in baggage reclaim due blockage in system"

Plusy: "This is was actually a flight operated by Qatar Airways and my first time with them. And you know what? It was like going back in time: this was exactly what and how BA used to be even 10 years ago. Thank you, Qatar, for wonderful service!"

Plusy: "Nothing"
Minusy: "Nothing was impressive at all"

Plusy: "The crew was very friendly and accommodating. Service was wonderful and the food was good."
Minusy: "Boarding was very disorganized with only signs showing for priority boarding. In flight entertainment did not work for first half of flight. Once it began to work a little, there was no notification on how to use it since it was still not working properly."

Minusy: "We arrived at the airport more than 2 hours in advance since this was an international flight. There was NO British Airways staff available to help with obtaining actual boarding passes which were NOT available on the BA mobile app. Although we made the flight with enough time, that was only because the security line was short and the passport control line was short as well. British Airways should have staff available to process passengers and boarding passes, luggage checkin, etc. earlier for their flights."

Plusy: "British Airways code share is always nice"
Minusy: "Older 747 not quite as nice as the Dreamliner but it made it!"

Minusy: "Nor too many good movies to choose from. I get it , row number 47, don't expect any 1st class comfort, but still, i was glad to land in Denver. Started to run out of sitting positions that didn't hurt."

Minusy: "Flying is uncomfortable and painful. The seats are thin with little padding. I kept getting poked and prodded by the person in the seat behind me, and it wasn't even a little kid kicking the seat. I have a problem with my foot, and there is piece of hard plastic or something that runs the length of the plane, under the aisle seat. I had to make sure my foot didn't rest on time because it was painful to my foot."

Plusy: "Fight was on time. BA Crew always do a nice job."
Minusy: "The entertainment on the flight didn't work. It is not easy to have two small kids on a 9 hour flight when the entertainment system isn't working properly. We did bring our own items to entertain our kids but with the limitations on what you can carry on we were banking on them being able to use the in flight system."

Plusy: "Everything was first-rate"
Minusy: "The inflight movie service is, in our opinion, worthless because of the noise. If you had closed captions available that would work."

Plusy: "The first class steward who helped us when he didn't need too. The free films."
Minusy: "I flew British Air in the past and had excellent service. I actually would have paid a bit more to choose them as an airline. No longer! Horrible service. Our stewardess was rude and unhelpful. Best example, when my husband turned in the remains of his last meal, something had leaked over his tray table. She didn't bother to help. He luckily had some extra napkins. She watched him clean it up and then left without taking the soiled napkins. Thanks. The meal quality was poor on the international flight. American handled the start of our vacation. Such a superior international flight quality compare to British Air."

Minusy: "Heathrow connection process almost caused me to miss my flight, despite having 2 hours between connections. Security officer at Heathrow was very unprofessional, and took a great pleasure in delaying my processing through the security line. Specifically, I did not remove a PHONE BATTERY CHARGER from my carry-on for screening, so he proceeded to dump out the whole backpack contents, and then purposefully was very slow about putting things back in one by one.As an active duty police officer I understand the need for security and follow all the regulations and instructions to the best of my abilities. However in this case the security officer went out of his way to make the process as slow as he could. Very bad, stressful experience traveling on BA with connection at Heathrow."

Plusy: "Nothing"
Minusy: "They wouldn't book is into our flight from a different terminal causing is to miss the flighr"

Plusy: "Quick boarding. Crew ok. Flight on time"
Minusy: "All food and breuvages to purchase. Not even glas of water complimentary in economy."

Plusy: "Service, comfort"
Minusy: "They lost my bag due to flying a 3rd party "Vueling" and did not add my FF# and would not do it at the airport so now I have to sort through online pages and phone queues to do something that definitely should have been feasible and included at airport (I added it on my outbound flight but because of this 3rd party being the originating operator of my return flight it was not included on my return)."

Plusy: "Nice plane, nice people, comfortable seats most importantly for coach though a bit cramped"

Plusy: "LOVED the folks on this airline. So nice and accommodating."

Plusy: "Flight on time. Seats/pillows/blankets were clean. The crew was professional - high quality interaction that makes the difference between BA and other airlines. (other airline crews can be abrupt, rude, ignore passengers, especially with getting water outside of service times, standing while waiting to use lavatories, etc.)"
Minusy: "Some garbage from prior flight in seat pockets of 2 seats we occupied. Entertainment system is a bit clunky, film choice not very good."

Plusy: "Great flight. Good to have beverages served frequently. Crew efficient and very pleasant. Comfortable and safe flight."
Minusy: "Could not hear boarding announcements---no microphone, so just guessed where to be."

Plusy: "We were not looking forward to the near 9 hour flight, but BA made it a very comfortable & enjoyable experience. Drinks & snacks were offered frequently. Individual monitors for movies, music etc. made the flight a great experience. Fantastic crew! BA airport staff helped locate our lost baggage and followed through quickly with returning it to us. We can't wait to fly with British Airways again!"

Minusy: "We paid extra for what we thought was isle seating. We did not receive the isle seating. We were in the seat directly behind the isle seating. It did not seem to have any more leg room than any other seats. Just concerning as we paid extra for what we thought was extra leg room? Rest service was Excellent. Staff and food was great."

Plusy: "Love how wonderful and kind the crew were. We asked for extra dessert because the chocolate cups were so good...and they gave us the extra dessert."
Minusy: "Boarding took forever as there was an issue with boarding systems for BA at Heathrow. We were delayed by almost an hour. In addition lines for dropping off baggage were rather long."

Plusy: "Nothing"
Minusy: "Our British Airways flights were cancelled going & returning on the trip. This resulted in rebooking in both directions, at different points in the trip. The cancellation on the return trip was extremely inconvenient since we didn't have a phone to contact BA. After wondering the airport on the day of our departure, for a BA representative that could help, we were directed to a ticket sales office. Then after waiting for another one (1) hour in a line, the BA representative rebooked our return flights. This was not a good way to start or end a trip!"

Minusy: "Boarded and our 3 year old fell asleep. sat on the plane for 50 minutes before being told to get off the plane. Ended up with a delay of almost 6 hours. sorry, very frustrated."

Plusy: "Food, fast and efficient boarding, only a small delay, fairly comfortable, and great entertainment!"

Plusy: "The service was the best!"
Minusy: "N/A"

Minusy: "Sat in an airport for 8 hours before flight was cancelled. Rebooked flight was not in the exit row I had. At 6'8", this 10 hour flight was near unbearable. BA did nothing to help except say sorry."

Minusy: "We were not able to prebook or buy a seat because of a glitch with the computers in Geneva. We were crammed in a middle center row!"

Plusy: "Food was ok a chicken korma"
Minusy: "Checkin at Heathrow was good, but agent at gate could not be heard over speaker system, 2 hour delay I found that this BA 219 and 218 are always late never on time.. Crew on plane were not happy and did not enjoy there job."

Plusy: "I think the Boeing is much more comfortable than the Airbus Aircraft."
Minusy: "Then entertainment system on this 747-400 was dated and should be updated to help with the long flights this aircraft is used on."

Minusy: "No onboard entertaiment. Only snack and tea. Dirty windows."

Plusy: "The most comfortable airplane in the world. Good and helpfuly crew and everything scheduled."
Minusy: "Food, correct but without the taste. Drop off baggage opened 4h before the flight."

Plusy: "I also really enjoyed the long flight from London to Denver was excellent and well orchestrated. It was nice to have my own dedicated TV monitor. The food was really tasty. Plus flying over Greenland and being able to see the glaciers out the windows was a real bonus!"
