I had paid for the suitcases, but because I was traveling alone I went there with my husband and he politely asked if they could please take the carryons on the plane because she can’t carry everything by herself. The manager came out and said that we have to pay. I said I already paid extra for my suitcases please help us because my wife is carrying our son, the diaper bag and 2 carryons. He was rude stating that we have to pay each carryon. We didn’t have the extra money and my wife took everything with her. If that’s how Turkish Airline treats their customers, they shouldn’t be operating. It was the last time I use this airline. No dignity or humanity, it’s all only about the money. And when I took the stroller with my son. They made me package the stroller by myself looking that I had my son on me crying and when I asked for help they said that they can’t help me... unbelievable... they see me with 2 carryons a stroller and a baby and they can’t help me."

This caused me to miss onnnection flight. There was very poor information or guidance by staff once we arrived into airport. I had to walk long long distances from the gate without assistance. I had requested wheelchair assistance considering I just had spinal cord surgery and In need of assistance. I was forced to stay over night in Istanbul and waited over 12 hours next day in airport for next available flight to Thessaloniki. I missed my brothers wedding night and could not be his best man for wedding from ordeal which was not fair! I also payed a premium price close to 1000k USA dollars for flight I could of booked many tickets with such a long layover and extra expenses buying a visa and food for half the fare I payed. This was not fair especially when a plane is diverted for medical emergency! To top it all off being a medical doctor I loaned and assisted staff with passenger and offered my consultation. services to emergency medical physician whom was called by crew for help and finally which reccomended to divert flight to Manchester to assist the passenger In crisis! I now know I caught a stomach bug which hit me on the flights from Cape Town to Istanbul and then even worse from Istanbul to San Francisco. The flight from Istanbul was delayed by two hours due to customs delay for a passenger, as such there was a lot of recycled air. Take that and fact I'm pregnant and by time i started the 13 hour journey already felt sick. I started throwing up immediately and got sick 12 more times. the flight attendants brought me crackers, water and a cold towel and ice. My husband asked if he could pay to put me in business class but was not in airline policy. but i think given how sick and pregnant i was the flight attendant went to ask the captain if there was anything they could do to assist. they ended up moving me to business class to lie down and let me stay there for 3 hours. I got sick upon moving back but getting that rest really helped me. I felt like they genuinely cared about me and am so thankful to the two flight attendants who assisted: 1) Zumrat Bolukbas 2) Hatice (Cabin Chief) These women are amazing!"

Seats cramped and too close together. Crew didn't manage passengers putting luggage away so passengers did it very badly taking up overhead room with jackets and small bags. Gate was overcrowded and hot without enough seats. Staff was pleasant though and friendly and courteous and efficient."

And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

This in turn causes no breakfast or lunch or dinner opportunities. I travel with snacks in my bag at all times now just in case so I won’t get sick for lack of nourishment or water! This last flight I missed my connection altogether and had to take a shuttle home, then catch a ride back to the airport to pick up my luggage and then get my car to drive home. It was 4 hours past my expected time home."

Minusy: "I never experienced the flight because I wasn't given a seat. The airline oversold the flight and I never got to go. I missed my once in a lifetime experience because the airline is greedy at my (and other people's) expense. I missed out on a priceless experience. Not only that, the bag that I checked did not make it off the flight so I remained in DC while my bag went to Medellin. I had to purchase new toiletries and had to make arrangements to get back to the airport. As of now, I do not plan on choosing American Airline nor LATAM for my future flights."

Minusy: "They have a Delay and they comunicated late. I traveled with a 3 month old baby, so you can imagine whe you have a delay of more than 5 hours."

Plusy: "Made up time lost to bad weather. Several announcements from pilot-I always like that. Makes me feel more personally cared for. "My friend the pilot is taking me there". That might explain how it makes me feel. Wish they did it more. Don't usually complain but below you will see I did."
Minusy: "Your headrest are especially cheap, plastic like, with little padding. Being in back row(no recline) would have been manageable if I could have leaned head to side to rest on something that extended out. Left too much light on (all down center) for an overnight flight. Served heavy dinner at 2am. Woke everyone up. Later light breakfast would have been more appropriate. Bathrooms reeked and waste bin overflow. Stewardess in back chatting. Don't they ever check?. They didn't seem to want to there."

Plusy: "The lounge and boarding area at Houston Airport were great. The staff at boarding did a good job keeping everyone happy and in line and boarding in the proper zones."
Minusy: "All the flight attendants were trainees. I was served cold coffee because it took so long to get from the front of the plane to the back. I was given a toothpick to stir it with. My headrest detached from the seat, and I had to sit uncomfortably during the flight. The plug for headphones was broken."

Plusy: "Th Roland was very good as was the entertainment from BOS to SFO, but may as good from SFO TO OGG. They plane was older smaller and the entertainment ability was lacking from SFO TO E"
Minusy: "The maple crisps were excellent from BOS to SFO. The pretzels were boring from SFO to BOS."

Plusy: "Check-in at Narita was great!!! The entire process from obtaining boarding pass to dropping off luggage took less than 3 minutes."

Minusy: "Luggage crew too slow in both airports"

Plusy: "Help changes with my seat assignment"
Minusy: "Leg room bad.....attendants. not very happy"

Minusy: "the boarding process is horrible and feels rude. The design of the united gates is horrible, the long lines block others walking by. The lack of enough overhead space for carryon's is obnoxious. Overall very disappointing."

Plusy: "One flight attendant who went above and beyond to compensate for the airline having prepared a vegetarian meal option"
Minusy: "Called ahead to secure a vegetarian meal option for a 6-hr flight and the meal was promised. Once on flight it was explained to me that vegetarian option was not offered on this flight. If customer rep would have explained that, u would have taken measures to bring along a prepared meal for myself. Not okay."

Plusy: "Economy tickets were over sold and I was moved to 1st class seat! Best flight ever.!!!"
Minusy: "Customer service, baggage policy, service at the airport counter, in short everything."

Minusy: "It was delayed 4 hours"

Plusy: "Flight was delayed but the pilots got us there in time to make our connecting flight. Thank you!"
Minusy: "On an international flight didn't expect to pay for movies and our seats didn't recline. Made for a long and uncomfortable flight."

Plusy: "Because of the delay, I missed my connecting flight, but a United staff member was ready to hand me a boarding pass for a new flight right when I got off the plane. That took away any worry or hassle for me, which I appreciated."
Minusy: "We sat on the runway for 2 hours. Also, my headphone jack was broken, so I could not connect my headphones to watch a movie. When I tried to explain the problem, the flight attendant misunderstood and just ended up bringing me a new pair of headphones... not helpful."

Minusy: "I brought a small carry on backpack with my duffle bag and was told I couldn't my small bag on the carry on, had to manage to stuff it in my duffle bag, when I get to check in ladies with purses bigger than my small bag were on board. Besides this unpleasant 15 min of worry everything was great."

Plusy: "Movies on plane"
Minusy: "Over 2 hour delay caused necessity of connection to be unusable - no explanation. Virtually useless help in getting a new connection."

Plusy: "The seats were soft. The convenience of flying out of Asheville was great."
Minusy: "We sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes waiting. When the captain spoke, no one on the plane could understand a word he said due to the poor speakers, his accent?, and he spoke too fast. I nearly missed my connection in Chicago."

Minusy: "back of lane smelled like lavatory - ugh"

Minusy: "Plane was supposed to depart at 5:30 did not depart until around 7:20!!! Had to sit on plane for almost 2 hrs!! We were NOT OFFERED anything to drink Not even water!! Jet Blue would NEVER be neglectful, they are very service oriented. Plane was full & 2 babies on board one was fussy crying at times. It was s nightmare!! I was exhausted from traveling to NYC & Philly! & the delay & lack of service was AWFUL!! Could not watch TV, bc It either connects to phone, I could not connect it or I think you had to pay! Unheard of!!!I love to watch CNN, MSNBC & Fox it makes the time fly!! Hopefully will Never have to fly United Again"

Minusy: "no crew visible after dinner service"

Plusy: "Nothing"
Minusy: "I was very I'll and could not complete this flight. Was told by airline to call Kayak for changing date of flight for $50 vs $200 they would charge. Ticket was less than $200. I called Kayak. They said sorry it will cost you $200 per airline policy. Either way, this is unacceptable to me. I will stick with Southwest who let's you change flights on all fares if you use it within one year. So since change fee was more than ticket I just ate the cost. Not happy with UNITED or KAYAK. Won't use either one again."

Minusy: "Given that both flights were delayed - my luggage managed to not make the second flight leaving me to cancel my plans for the evening. There was more than enough time in between flights."

Plusy: "on time and very polite.. good flight"

Plusy: "The crew was great"
Minusy: "I was not able to use the TV because the key to change channels was broken. I did not like the food, Too many calories and starches and the airplane was old and outdated. Thanks"

Minusy: "Well my flight was first delayed for 6 hours then once I tried to change my ticket this customer service woman was so rude and not helpful. Finally this other customer service woman nane Barbara helped me out and change my ticket. Still would never fly United."

Minusy: "Waited 45 minutes for bags in Houston. Whatever we made up in the air was lost on the ground."

Plusy: "On time"
Minusy: "The aircraft was a bit older for a 6 hours flight so I felt too closed to a person next to me"

Plusy: "Everythingnothing"

Minusy: "Poor coordination after our flight from Frankfurt took off 1/2 hour late and we had to run through the airport to catch our flight to Washington along with an entire busload of passengers in the same boat. No assistance from anyone to help us reach our connecting flight on time. When we did arrive just under the wire, our seats were changed at the front gate, even though we had assigned seats and checked in 24 hours before. Poor situation."

Plusy: "The flight attendant was excellent! So kind, caring and attentive."

Plusy: "There was a maintenance issue as soon as we all got on the plane (better safe then sorry!), but the crew communicated clearly, gave frequent updates, and made best efforts to have everything run smoothly."

Minusy: "One flight attended in particular was very rude. Blonde short and slightly over weight. Her deminer towards the passengers was very unprofessional. It is unfortunate to have someone like that in a 6 hour flight. Seats are very small and couldn't charge my phone. Also couldn't watch the flight path unless I paid for the entertainment"

Minusy: "No snack at all on a 4 hour flight"

Plusy: "First class was nice but I paid for 1st class for the whole flight and only got it on the first leg. They should have told me that when they took my money."
Minusy: "2nd leg was terrible it was over an hour and a half late because they had to replace a toilet seat! I paid for an upgrade for first class and they over booked it so I didn't get it and haven't received my money back. Terrible customer service."

Minusy: "Luggage got stuck in plane, 1 1/2 hour wait at carrousel! Newark sucks to get out, took two atemps with 2 GPS and 2 people trying to decifer NJ's crappy road signs!"
