Ground crew said my bag had made it on board, so i waited and waited but it never showed up in Kraków. Lost luggage team was helpful and told me it didn’t make the flight - it was on the next one. Hopefully it gets delivered soon but it will be difficult bc my air bnb has no buzzer"

Minusy: "Had a connecting flight, both were with Lufthansa. There was an hour between the two flights. We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

Minusy: "Too small plane for business travelers - no carry allowed inside, yet all electronics have to be taken out. Lufthansa does not care about Senator status at all."

After talking to 4 different people at cashier booths for an hour, we finely got tickets with Austrian lines to our destination city. I wish that Borispol Airport team could be more prepared(provide more customer service personal) to solve the problems such as a flight delay in order to serve better the passengers in stressful situations."

Plusy: "The staff was communicative and genuine. The food was decent. Even though the flight arrived late I felt ok about it due to the direct communication of details about the situation. I was stuck in the extremely cramped space of seats just in front of the lavatory making the seat in front me 5 inches from my nose when reclined but the staff was sympathetic offering to ask the passenger in front of me to redress their seat more upright and also allowing me to spread out across two seats to compensate."
Minusy: "While the staff compensated for the more than standardly cramped seating arrangement, I think the row of seats just in front of the lavatories should be either better designed or designated not usable. I am only 5’3” and 125lbs but still was faced with a mere 5 inches in front of me when the passenger in front of me reclined his seat. I couldn’t even stand in order to exit the row and had to crawl over the seats to my side. This had me thinking how dangerous this row could be in case of an emergency. Please consider designating these seats either not to be used or optional for passengers."

Minusy: "Late arrival in Munich, missed connection to Krakow, no rebooking and nobody cared that we, 3 people, get to our destination the same day. Spent 12 hours ( 10 am to 10 pm ) at Munich airport not knowing if and/or when we get on the plane, hoping to be on 10 pm flight, not making any connection all day long. Suggestions to fly through different city or on different airline we’re met with shrug and “ not possible “ reply. Having one Omaha Krakow Lufthansa ticket made no difference to anybody. Horrible experience specially that one of us was 80 years old. Will never fly with Lufthansa again. None of my friends will. Dreading my flight back. Kasia Bradley"

Minusy: "Big chaos on airport: 3x changed the Gate, workers at boarding don’t speak English and ask me to speak Germany...everything was terrible and I never use Lufthansa again and don’t recommend to anybody..."

Minusy: "I didn’t like it because when I asked for a big water bottle, they refused to gove it to me while I am sick and suffer dry throat. The space is rather small. If you are 5ft 5 and above person, I honestly would suggest you buy extra legroom for comfortable purposes. Also, there is like 1 restroom on the whole plane and if you sot at the end, you are screw. Lets not forget that they delayed our flights like 4 hours and only gave us 1 voucher for snack. I don’t expect the experience will be fancy but this is a total disappointment!"

Minusy: "DO NOT FLY AMERICAN AIRLINES DURING A PANDEMIC. They were not keeping folks distanced from each other, they did not make sure that all the passengers had masks (I understand that people might take them off in flight briefly to drink etc but there were people that walked right on without masks on at all) The flight was FULL. They did a full drink/snack down the aisle thing ensuring that everyone packed into that small space would all be taking off their masks at the same time (if they still had it on in the first place). I did not feel safe at all."

Plusy: "The trip started off poorly with a day delay and rebooking hotel and car at final destination. Not to mention our final destination is San Antonio not Phoenix. We were not rebooked for a flight from PHX to SAT. But after a few hours we were finally booked. We didn’t really appreciate the 7 hour layover at 0100 in the morning and nowhere to get a meal or even coffee. However, the flight had the same crew from the night prior and they were excellent. The flight was open so we were able to get more leg room, less waiting time for the bathroom, and pretty much one on one service from our flight attendants. With all the struggle in the beginning, this particular flight was actually the best flight I have been on."
Minusy: "We were ok with the hotel and meal vouchers however, again, the only part of our itinerary looked at was the first flight, not the second into SAT. Had we not questioned the agent, we would have been stuck in PHX with no room, no car, and if we eventually would have gotten a flight, our reservations for car and hotel in SAT would have been cancelled and I would have been out $1700. I already lost money but it could have been worse. Basically, I am paying for a car and room that I am not currently in. Reimbursement for that would have been nice. Either way we will still travel using the travel service and this particular airline in the future."

Minusy: "If you get to the airport too early and there aren't any American Airlines flight before yours you have to wait for the crew to get there to open the counter and check you in. Just a couple pounds over the 50lbs and you get screwed with a $100 fee. There is very little AC in the airport and very few outlets so if you have to wait for a flight make sure to charge your devices prior to getting to the airport. WiFi on this an all other American Airlines flights I've recently taken has been useless - almost impossible to use."

What wasn't told to us was we would lose our seats and be put on the bottom of a waiting list. We were able to board bc other passengers did not show up, however we no longer had our seat preference, so I had a middle seat, although I'm a service member with a left knee issue so my seat needs to be an isle one. Also, there were no food choices that did not account for my allergy."

Minusy: "My luggage was inexplicably placed on a later flight which arrived an hour after my flight arrived."

Minusy: "I arrived at HNL nearly 2 hours before my flight. The check-in procedures at HNL were very poor. There were not enough operating machines to help passengers check-in. In fact, there appeared to be more non-functioning machines .than working ones which created a huge backlog of passengers. We then had to wait in another long line to have our bagged checked and boarded. This was one of the worse situations I've seen in a very long time."

Minusy: "Employees seemed like they didn’t like working for American. Flight was delayed and nobody informed us about it until it was past the past the boarding time. Missed connecting flight and booked on flight 5 hours past original departure time. Sat in an aisle seat and stewardess kept bumping my arms."

Minusy: "Agent at gate said overhead compartments were all full and no more room for any bag. So I had to check in my carry on luggage . To my surprise, there had many open space when I walked in the plane. The worst thing was my brand new suitcase was torn. I told the luggage agent the incident and she said they had no liability what so ever."

Minusy: "Cancelled flight due to multiple mechanical malfunctions that should have been checked previous to boarding. Held on the plane for 4 hours, another 4 hours in terminal of the closed airport once allowed to deplane, no communication, no food or water, put up in a hotel an hour and half away despite this being NYC, terrible customer service, no compensation, unable to get tofinal destination earlier than 24 hours later missed events in final destination overall financial and personal losses due to the inadequacy of the airline."

Plusy: "The entertainment was a new release movie - liked that. The food was okay."
Minusy: "Seats not comfortable, especially for a 7 hour trip! My tray table broke and would not close. I informed a stewardess and she apologized for the inconvenience and did her best to duct tape it shut (twice). It's an old plane, I would not recommend for a flight more than 2 hours. Wasn't greeted at boarding. Had to interrupt staff to ask which side of plane I should walk down to get to my seat. I paid extra for 12th row - waste of money!"

Minusy: "I didn't like that it said Alaska Airlines but it was really American so I ran 4 terminals and had to go through agricultural inspection twice. The guy at the counter didn't want me to check in my bag because it was 58 mins before my flight. The lady at the station really helped me and let me check my bag."

Since we left Vancouver late, we arrived late and had to sit on the runway for 30 minutes until we could get a gate at LAX. Again the pilot keep us informed and apologized for the inconvenience, The staff was very friendly."

Minusy: "Children running around because there wasn't anything to do. Passengers ignoring no food and drink signs. A passenger had a nut allergy so no food could be eaten or served with nuts. I understand this serious health risk, but passengers need to be handed out free of charge crackers or cookies if they were counting on eating their own snack. Passengers were putting both their carry on and personal item in the over head storage and therefore there wasn't enough storage for those would only wished to store one item."

Minusy: "Absolutely awful experience. Zero entertainment options, save for BYOD which didn't even work for me - never was able to watch more than the first 30 seconds of anything, provided it would work at all. Also the film selection, had it worked, was wretched. Food was bland even by airline standards. Flight was delayed. I'm used to sleeping on these flights, even flying economy, but these seats were even more cramped than I'm used to. Perhaps all this would be forgivable had my flights been cheap, but no - it was about the most expensive trans-Atlantic flight I've had in recent memory."

Minusy: "I only had one gripe about this flight and my one other flight on Air Canada Rouge; the overhead bins are very poorly designed. I purchased a carry on bag specifically to meet their regs, yet it had it go in the bin longways, taking up a ton of room. The bins are tall, which is wasted space, when what they really need is another 1-2" in depth."

Minusy: "The only thing they serve is water. Still or sparkling. And chocolate bar. Anything else is paid. It's not low fare airline and this should not be happening."

Minusy: "The plane was really cold, and we were told that they couldn't adjust the temperature, but we could have a blanket - at a cost. We have heard from other people who travelled Rouge about how cold their flight was, too. I also didn't realize that there wouldn't be in-flight movies - unless you rented an i-pad, etc. That was a bit disappointing for a 6-hour flight. I think that I would rather have paid a little higher fee for the flight and have some of the things built into the ticket than have to keep paying out money for all the different things."

Minusy: "Seats are extremely small and cramped. Temperature was too cold during the flight and there wasn't even a fan on so it was the cabin temperature which couldn't be adjusted. In addition No blankets or cushions were provided. The leg room was horrible. I'm only 5'5" and I felt cramped, so I can't imagine how it would feel for someone taller. also, no one checked bags due to the newly imposed fee so everyone crammed their luggage into the overhead compartments and many of us had no room to store our carry-ons and had to put it below our seats, causing even less leg room. the Hawaiian airport also locked out the waiting area for international flights back to Vancouver due to some policy that the area must be locked down until the plane has arrived and everyone is off the plane. Many of us were sitting on the ground outside in the non-air conditioned hallway in front of the stores like homeless people for over 2 hours. Luckily seniors were sitting on wheelchairs and did not have to wait while standing or sitting on the ground. They finally let us in 20 minutes before boarding but really by then it made no difference."

Plusy: "The ONLY part of flying Air Canada that I used to like was your partnership with SAS, over the past ten years I have lost more airtravel points through Star Alliance troubles than I could have made in the decade before. Luckily when I fly from my birth place of St. John's NL, you're ground staff are the absolute best! I can give "shout outs" to each and every one of them. From those ready for retirement to the new staff just in from "who knows where", they get the whole "customer service" priority that your airline needs to focus on. Your management in Halifax "Sharon" is out of this world too, other than that whether through Lufthansa, Air Canada or anywhere I would travel, seeing that red leaf on your wing would make me ashamed to be Canadian."
Minusy: "I paid extra for a seat to ensure leg room, all I got was ear ache! The flight - although half empty had no place for my briefcase, but I was "ordered" to push my sealskin bag under the dirty greasy seat in front of me. When I requested they store it upfront for take-off & landing - the french female steward started flirting with the man sitting next to me and didn't even offer a response. When drinks came around - I was handed a half empty glass with juice on it's exterior and borrowed a napkin from the next seat. Later I did get a napkin "thrown gently" over the person she enjoyed speaking with. I was happy to wait until connecting passengers disembarked before the local traffic, but was appalled when the more senior female steward stopped a local passenger who I know has anxiety about flying - to insist she let the other passengers off first. Air Canada needs to be educated on what human behaviour entails, before they can graduate to customer service. Together with my first name, you can know my last name is Floyd"

Plusy: "Flight attendants were friendly and considerate. Food was satisfactory and timed appropriately. Entertainment device worked and offered adequate variety. The aircraft itself was clean and comfortable. It was not overly air-conditioned as aircraft tend to be."
Minusy: "Boarding was slow and confusing: verbal instructions conflicted with posted signs, and it was hard to choose the right lines. Arrival in Canada was a nightmare! Customs and security were confusing, inefficient, and staffed by people who had little patience. There was much yelling and running around., there appeared to be little sympathy or concern for the dozens of passengers who were attempting to make connecting flights, and it was ridiculous to announce that security closed at 9p.m. .when there were planes on the runway awaiting connecting passengers and people with boarding passes who were not allowed to catch their flights."

Minusy: "Didn't like not having a screen on the back of the seat in front of me, that I would have to pay $10 to rent an ipad."

Minusy: "Not even one single snack for free"

Plusy: "Crew is quite young and friendly.. good service. Boarding was quick and easy. Blanket and neck pillow package were comfy and worth the $7"
Minusy: "The plane was FREEZING and the seats are a bit cramped."

Minusy: "Delays on every leg of our flight. Missed our evening flight to USA and had to spend the night in Canada to fly out the next day. Desk agent service was atrocious!"

Minusy: "Avoidable delays caused a late departure from Toronto, then we sat on tarmac waiting for a gate in Dublin. Eventually had to debark into the tarmac and walk in. Delays caused us to miss our next flight to Munich."

Plusy: "Early boarding with kids International Toronto terminal very comfortable with plenty of free wifi charging and iPads"
Minusy: "No tv did not have app for streaming , did not know when booking that TV only available on your personal device Did not want to pay $10 to rent iPad"

Plusy: "Everything was average."
Minusy: "Not all food available on the food catalog menu."

Minusy: "Mechanical errors delays and poor overnight accommodations."

Plusy: "Got on flight"
Minusy: "Got boarding pass but no signs to differentiate Air Canada counters (US-bound, domestic, international). Went to wrong counter and had to run to right one Booked flight. When I checked bag, I got a standby with hope that I could get on flight. Fortunately, I was able to make it. If I had connecting flights, it would have been a nightmare Same boring old movies and TV - 2 broke girls episodes. Just drink, nothing else for morning flight. Something to eat? It is an international (Can-US) flight Slow unloading of luggage"

Plusy: "I love how the flight attendants were courteous and I did not feel neglected at all. I was a smooth flight and would gladly fly AIr Canada again"
Minusy: "There was nothing that I did not like about the flight."

Plusy: "Plane was late due to Stewart missing the bus from their hotel?...seriously unprofessional and the check in staff lying to customers to accommodate others customers from an undeparted flight from the night before?...attempting to change my flight due to this?...seriously need to do better Air Canada...and to top it all off you are served by a snotty unprofessional group of stewards?....a huge JOKE!....won't be flying this airline again and I will be spreading the word!"

Minusy: "plane left late , crew gave absolutely no updates. Crew gave no help in helping us make our international flight we boarded our international flight minutes before they closed doors and we were panicked and ran through terminal for which seemed like miles I will never use this airline again"

Minusy: "We arrived from Rome at 3:30 - we wouldn't have made our 5:25 flight to Boston if I hadn't contacted an agent 2 times stating we were STILL in the security line"

Plusy: "We arrived on time, despite the delay in departure (caused by the necessity to off-load a no-show passenger's luggage)"
Minusy: "I was given an long explanation why I could not have a whole can of coca cola to drink. I believe, when I spend over $1500, a free coke should be part of the deal. I am glad that I brought my own water, because the service was so limited. There was no entertainment system on board. I suppose the assumption is that everyone brings their won i-Pad."

Plusy: "It’s been a while since I have flown United, but I was pleasantly surprised by how great the crew on both of my flights were. I flew basic economy and was treated better and had as much leg room as with “upgraded service” from another carrier with an American name. After this experience I’ll go out of my way to book on United. Thanks"

Plusy: "Haven't flown United, now we remember why. Paid extra for comfort and the seats we had were actually more cramped than those around our seating. A long trip with no food, unless you want to pay more than a high end restaurant in Maui. No entertainment made a long, uncomfortable flight unbearable."

Minusy: "United stewardesses have little to no interest in their duties. Questions were clearly an annoyance to them. The leg of flight from Denver to Des Moines was very uncomfortable, seats much to tigh, no leg room. Gate staff in Denver were exceptional. United needs to revisit their time for loading. We preloaded, I had a broken leg, I was traveling with a special needs woman. We just reached our seats when other passengers were prodding us to sit so they could board no time to settle. Not impressed"

Plusy: "I enjoyed preferred boarding it made everything easy. Seats were fine as far as leg room."
Minusy: "Attendant kept bumping into me, I had an aisle seat with her refreshment cart. But other then that everything was fine."

Minusy: "I didn’t like not having to choose our seat assignments after we booked our flight. I have used Kayak on many occasions and I was able to choose my seat after booking. I was not able to do that after I booked my flight."

Plusy: "Enjoyed watching DIRECTV and sleeping"

Minusy: "This was a terrible flight. Entertainment system would not go off, no crew attention, we had 2 young kids and they could not sleep with the flashing TV in front of their eyes. Crew did not have the technical chops to even reset the system or try to. To add to the misery, we were seated in the last row where seats won't recline. If after flying 200k miles on United, I get this, I don't know what's worse! Very poor experience on United. Will just donate my miles."

Minusy: "No food is lame"

Plusy: "Nice new plane. Very clean. Decent room in economy plus. On board food is expensive but tastes ok. Free soft drinks served a couple of times during the flight (4.5 hours)"
Minusy: "No in seat screen for movies. Only if you had your own personal device e.g. iPad. Also access was not working consistently across the plane. Was told that only a certain a certain number of seats could access the in flight entertainment system at one time and "to keep trying" and "hopefully someone will drop off soon". In the end they acknowledged the issue and told all passengers to go online for compensation which they honored immediately."

Minusy: "VERY narrow seats Stupid buttons in the arm rest, constant beeping from people pushing them by mistake"

Minusy: "The United agent at the gate in Maui was terribly rude. She didn't even acknowledge that I was waiting in line to be helped for about 5 minutes. She went on the plane to check something for me and didn't return until 10 minutes later. When she came back to the counter, where I was still waiting, she started to talk to her coworker about chocolate and how great the crew was. She then turned to me and said, "can I help you?" She didn't even remember that she was in the middle of helping me! When I reminded her she was like "oh that's right" but didn't even apologize. The flight was delayed 2 hours which was pretty annoying too."

Plusy: "Upgraded to extra comfort seating."
Minusy: "Flight was 2 hours delayed."

Plusy: "Lights were dimmed in the cabin"
Minusy: "So many things. My complaints wouldn't change this company's plans. It's clear what United values"

Plusy: "The seats we're ok"
Minusy: "Delayed, bad service, bad boarding technique, bad cabin crew, and when we landed we spent another 30min taxiing and sitting. My connector flight was delayed two hours and by time I got to San Diego my rental car company was already closed."

Minusy: "Crying infants but thank goodness for streaming entertainment and headphones"

Plusy: "The seats in first class were ok, not wonderful. Too expensive for only 'okay'."

Minusy: "AFTER boarding, you endeavored to remove 41 passengers. Only interaction was through an overwhelmed flight attendant, who barely spoke english. Was an experience that eroded confidence in safety, something one would imagine from a third world airline. Unacceptable. No direction. Only instruction was to call United."

Minusy: "I came up with some pretty bad bruising on my stomach from the seat belt during the landing."

Plusy: "Everything was fast"

Minusy: "I sat next to someone who basically took up half my seat which is the most uncomfortable way to spend a redeye. And an eight dollar fee for DirecTV is the silliest thing I've ever heard of for a 6 hour flight."

Plusy: "Boarding was organized. When we wanted to check in our cabin baggage afraid that the overhead bins may be full by the time we board, we were properly guided that there is ample space, so there was no need to check them in. This saved us waiting time at LAX."
Minusy: "We were not allowed to do online check-in because of codeshare, which was not very convenient."

Plusy: "An eighty-five mile an hour tailwind got us from Los Angeles to Denver twenty-five minutes early. At LAX, our departure gate was only three gates from the arrival gate of our connecting flight, so no long trek through LAX. Seats on our 737-900 were tight and didn't recline far but, hey, United is the Wal-Mart of modern air travel. What do you expect?!"

Minusy: "Business class needs better seats for a 6 hour flight"
