Minusy: "First flight (to Istanbul) delayed, and nobody cared to help with making connecting flight booked on the same Turkish Airlines (THY)! Different THY employees sent me to three (3) different places (with two suitcases in hand) at opposite ends of the huge Istanbul airport before finally pointing to the Business Lounge and causing my missing the connection. Had they directed me correctly and cared about my first delay, I would not have missed it. I lost the first-night pay at the hotel of my final destination, my friends lost their time and money on making trips to pick me up, my ailing relatives were in pieces worrying about me, and so on. In sum, a fun trip (NOT!) ... If you care for some details, here you go... They did not inform their own connecting flight about my delay. Despite issuing me a boarding pass, nobody was looking for me or announcing where I should go. I spent an hour running around the airport at THY employees' misdirections. Business Lounge revealed I was already issued a ticket for next morning's flight (without informing me via my email they had or otherwise). I then looked at their own monitor and saw a much earlier flight the same night on a partner airline. I had to point to that flight, and they issued me a ticket there. No apology, no offer of any compensation. I understand that flights may delay, and I could forgive an honest mistake in misdirection. But this was a wide-spread incompetence and utter unwillingness to help their own business class (!) customer. I can only imagine what pains the economy travelers had to endure! Just to give you a flavor, after realizing that my connecting flight was boarding (when my delayed first flight arrived in Istanbul), I asked the crew to direct me to the best route to my connection. They pointed to the gate personnel. The gate personnel who greeted us DID NOT KNOW about my connection and sent me to the opposite side of the airport without notifying the connecting flight to wait for me. No help/transport was offered. When I made my way to the connecting gate with my luggage, the flight was gone. Nobody to be found from THY around the gate. A neighboring THY gate's employee directed me to the "Care Point" desk far away. A sizable line emerged there, with only two agents working it. I asked one of them if business class was served there. They said, "Yes, get in line, please". After 30 minutes in that line, I approached a "Care Point" agent (a cruel name for no-care-whatsoever service) who told me "You need to go to the business class desk upstairs. Economy only here!" No apology, no expression of concern, yelling "Next!" when I told her that I wasted 30 minutes of valuable time in line at their direction and would appreciate her doing something to help or making sure I reach the right person. Off to the "business desk" I go... another 15-min. run in a different direction with luggage in hand. That desk could not help either...ARGHH. Do I need to continue?.."

I have put 2 older passengers with knee problems. they have to go through the satires then what's the point of getting wheelchair???? you guys took $250 more on each tickets so the passengers can reach to their destination faster. but you ended up delaying the flights. and i asked around to many people after this and they told me that you always do it. WTF??????? give me my money back...."

Minusy: "I have been told at the airport that I had an unconfirmed flight and was told that I could not travel to Istanbul. I am still at my departure city, in Chicago. I bought my tickets just like anybody would, go on the website, pick the flights and pay. But someone did not do their job correctly and did not correctly confirm my flight. I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. The system is so disconnected or careless that it can't even figure out I couldn't take the flight which it is is asking me a review for."

Minusy: "I had to take flight from San Juan to JFK on Jet Blue seperate ticket that supposed to leave san juan 5:26 am and get to JFK at 9:18 am , Jet Blue got delayed 5 houres due to the weather , when i got to JFK i went to the counter of Turkish Airlines to re book on another flight , i was attended by Indian look manager , he was very very very nasty with me and he told that the Turkish Airlines had cancelled my ticket and his comment to me ( you boughtyour ticket socheap there fore you need to pay $1650 dollar for new ticket and there is not gurranted i will be takig the next scheduled flight and i have to waite for thenextday ) he was very nastuy, so i went to Emirates Airlines and i bought a new tickets for $1475 dollar and ileft JFKwithen twohours , now when i want to retune from Lebnon i caled Turkish Airkines and they had informed that they cancelled my return ticktes as well , when the plane was delayed in san juan Puerto Rico Jet Blue manager in San Juan call Turkish Airlines to exolaine the situatuion and the agent had confirmed that i will be rebbok on another flight. I lst my ticket with Turkish and i will never recommend this Airline to no one from now on. I,m asking if i can use the monry that i had paid if i can rebook future flight , please do something i lost my tickets with Turkish and i had to pay $1475 dollar on Emirates , NO one seems to care .I have all the proof thatJet Blue gave me the boarding pass on Turkish after the station manager in San Juan called Turkish and they authorized him to print my boarding pass ( i have it all) unfortunatly Turkish refused to helo. Minusy: "Not me but my mom was the person who was traveling. Her luggage was going straight to Bishkek from the US.Last year an old model of mob.phone has been stolen from her suitcase - this year (it is ridiculous guys) souvenirs for friends, 2 small boxes of chocolate candy bars & new underwear with tags. Turkish Airlines do smth. at least try to prevent thefts."

Minusy: "The service on Turkish airlines was not friendly or helpful. The food was not quality, or food tasting. The entertainment didn't include a lot of movies at all. One of the flights did even give headphones. The staff wasn't rude and not helpful, and didn't make the flight comfortable. I had high hopes flying with Turkish Airlines for the first time, but I was thoroughly disappointed with everything."

Minusy: "I was at the gate for my flight from Istanbul to Bucharest but 25 minutes before departure I noticed that passengers were lining up at a different gate so I asked what happened. I was told the flight had departed even though it was still 25 minutes before flight time. I then had to go to ticket sales where they charged me $425 dollars for the 80 minute flight to Bucharest. In the US, I would have been put on the next available flight fee of charge. I will never fly Turkish Airlines again."

Minusy: "We missed a connection on our flight out, so the airline decided to cancel our entire flight home! They didn't even notify us they were cancelling it. We found out the day before we were supposed to leave to go home, when we tried to check in online and couldn't. I spent hours of the last day of our vacation trying to figure out what was wrong, then searching for a rebooking a new flight. It cost us more than $1000 USD extra, just to get home. NOT the way we envisioned ending our vacation. I'll never use this airline again!"

Minusy: "Called to change date. Thy did not take credit card payment over the phone for a stupid reason. Asked me to go to a thy office no later than 10.30 am the next day. Every airline grabs the money, these "very smart" thy admin has developed rules to make passengers' life's inconvenient. Highly not recommended. Lousy airline. Broke my luggage on top of this on my flight from Miami to Istanbul. NOT recommended. Refrain from even suggesting thy to your customers. You have a good name."

Minusy: "Flight from Houston to Istanbul got delayed; Turkish Airlines representative confirmed that flight will catch up on time and I can reach my connecting flight on time, however changed my ticket for the connecting flight so I would leave Istanbul next day - without informing me about the change.Once I realized changed "date/time" in the ticket (VS what I booked) and complained about it, all Turkish Airline representatives were acting line they don't understand English...this is unacceptable. I ended up spending the night in the Airport."

We were 2 hours delayed without explanation. Many people worried about their connections, so advice on that would have been helpful."

Minusy: "Asked them bot to sit us at the far end near the toilets and guess what.....last tier next to the toilets!! Broke my son’s bugaboo bee pushchair 2nd time due to the way they handle it as they through them instead of caring for them. Service in moscow is very poor."

Minusy: "I had a very bad experience with my trip. I was not allowed to get on the plane from miami to moscow because i did not have a russian visa, even though i had a visa for Belarus, my final destination. How would i know that the flight from russia to minsk is a domestic flight? There is no information online about needing a russian visa when being a transit passenger in Moscow. I was not offered any refund for my ticket and the cheapest option was to pay an extra 600$ and fly in 2 days to NY JFK and from there to fly to Moscow-Vilnius. My flight from Miami to JFK was very delayed with American Airlines and i missed my connection to Moscow. I had to pay another 100$ and fly the next day to Moscow. That fight was again delayed and AGAIN i missed my connection to Vilnius. I got to the gate 20min before the take off time but i was not allowed to get on the plane.I had to fly later that night. The whole trip, which was supposed to take 14 hours ended up being 4 days and almost double what I originally payed, not to mention the stress and waste of time. If i knew how the trip would pan out I would never have taken this route."

Minusy: "The connection in Moscow is a pain. No explanations, lots of walking and waiting in line for passport checks, and queue must self regulate as the airport staff don't care. Once done with checks, there is no way to get wifi in airport. It's free if you have a Russian mobile number, but if not they only option is to find a local and ask that they register for you with their own number."

There was apparently some problem with the lavatory in the Premium Economy class. Midway to Moscow, it was locked without an explanation and flight attendants were directing Premium Economy passengers to the Economy class lavatories."

Plusy: "My mom had the stomach flu and couldn't make it to the flight. I called both air companies (was on the phone for hours!) and they literally didn't care. Didn't refund anything. So if you're throwing up take the flight anyway, don't worry about infecting other passengers, they apparently don't care. Otherwise, say bye bye to your ticket."

Minusy: "On boarding process is highly disorganized. They don't seat people by sections, everyone just crams together from multiple lines fitting their way into one to get on board."
