Plusy: "Nothing"
Minusy: "Told to pay for bag at the airport after confirming in check in online 24 hours before that there was no payment. Had to check 2 bags but made us pay for one, which was odd. Then was told while on the plane we were delayed 2 Hours. Pilot didn’t no tell us estimated flight time. Students on the plane were wild and unruly and staff did nothing. They pushed my mother while plane was taxi in london so they could get off first. Staff did nothing. Payed more to take british airways Rather than easy jet. Complete waste of money."

Plusy: "The 747 is spacious. Seats are comfortable and recline. Restrooms are comfortable. The flight crew was wonderful. Food was better than average. Wine was included. Enjoyed the ice cream."

Minusy: "Not only do you now have to buy food and drink, by the back of the plane they’ve always run out (our flight was not even particularly full). Flight was delayed an hour - I’ve taken 4 BA flights in the last 5 days and every one has been delayed by at least one hour. No longer worth the price."

Minusy: "A day before my flight it was already known that it is delayed (how possible...?) and it was delayed. Even though we were on time to board plane to Boston we had to wait for another flight."

Minusy: "I had a flight from Atlanta to London with a connection flight to fly to Istanbul. The first flight was fine and smooth but the second was just terrible. Upon buying and resorting to British Airwaya, it wasn't mentioned anywhere that the second flight plans do not offer complimentary soft drinks or snacks for the three hour flight after a 6 hour layover. Assuming my flight was going to feed, I didn't eat a whole lot at the airport so I didn't have to spend too much money. I declined the cart the first go around and didn't seem any too interested or sure what some of the options were. I lasted as long as I could and gave in and pulled out my credit card (not accepting cash is another disappointment because my Turkish bank account was charged by pounds) but there was nothing but one choice left and it didn't sit well in my stomach."

Minusy: "I got to the airport the morning of my flight from Warsaw -Dublin and was told my flight was cancelled and no longer exists. Luckily I got a hold of my daughter who was in LA at this time and woke her up at 1am with this issue. She called the web booking company Webjet where you directed us to buy the flight, and was told by Webjet that my flight was cancelled the day before and we were not notified IN ANY WAY! By some miracle, my daughter was able to talk to Webjet and get me on a new flight last minute. Again, this is all happening at 1am California time while I am stranded at the airport in Warsaw! Unacceptable!!! I am however glad that the issue was resolved and I made it home safely. But I think someone needs to look into this immediately because if it wasn't for my daughter, I wouldn't have left the Warsaw airport due to the fact that the airline cancelled the flight and neither the airline, Kayak, nor Webjet notified me...."

Minusy: "Plane departed late and stalled at landing- delay caused me to miss connection and set me back getting home by 7 hours at the end of it all."

Minusy: "It was like being on a really cheap budget airline, but paying expensive prices. Food only for sale with a British credit or debit card, won't take cash,no menu cards, and even if I'd wanted to get food, no gluten free options, which is not a lifestyle choice for me, but a necessity.Scruffy dog-eared magazines in the seat pocket. Not even an offer of tea or coffee. Check-in online would not allow me to change my seat, although it told me I could. I fly a lot, but tend to avoid BA now if I can, and this flight just confirmed that preference."

Breakfast now has been relegated to a breakfast bar - really?!?!"

There was NO British Airways staff available to help with obtaining actual boarding passes which were NOT available on the BA mobile app. Although we made the flight with enough time, that was only because the security line was short and the passport control line was short as well. British Airways should have staff available to process passengers and boarding passes, luggage checkin, etc. earlier for their flights."

Minusy: "Heathrow connection process almost caused me to miss my flight, despite having 2 hours between connections. Security officer at Heathrow was very unprofessional, and took a great pleasure in delaying my processing through the security line. Specifically, I did not remove a PHONE BATTERY CHARGER from my carry-on for screening, so he proceeded to dump out the whole backpack contents, and then purposefully was very slow about putting things back in one by one.As an active duty police officer I understand the need for security and follow all the regulations and instructions to the best of my abilities. However in this case the security officer went out of his way to make the process as slow as he could. Very bad, stressful experience traveling on BA with connection at Heathrow."

Minusy: "After a three hour delay- the flight was canceled. Was able to rebook flight for next day but took eight calls to find a room for the night. It was a bit of a nightmare. Had pre paid for up graded seat but one was not available on the re-booked flight."

Minusy: "Our BA flight from Rome to Paris was operated by Vueling. Vueling staff in Rome lacked knowledge of whether or not our bags could be transferred properly to our BA connection and onto our home city. Our bags did not connect and arrived 2 days after we did. Vueling desks were extremely unorganized, staff were not helpful, and boarding the plane after 2 buses hauled the passengers far out onto the concourse was a nightmare. We love BA, but we will never again purchase a flight where Vueling is involved."

Minusy: "The link-up to the connecting flight was confusing. The arrival gate changed. We were direct to board a bus which took us away from the terminal where we arrived back to the scheduled terminal. We then had to take a bus back tot the original terminal to catch our departure. We were then directed to go directly to the gate. We had no chance to shop or dine at the supposedly beautiful Heathrow. Instead, we were given a tour of the facilities' bowels."

The whole side of our aircraft the televisions repeatedly showed two Disney channel sitcoms over and over again for ten hours. Plusy: "Major issue: unable to check bag more than 2 hrs before flight and no warning that transfer at Heathrow required going from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3-- requireing a lot of walking, stress, time and security checks."

Plusy: "From the moment of stepping foot on the plane, to take off, and landing, the staff was always helpful, friendly, and obliging. Compliments to the pilot! The best take off and landing ever, which are usually my least favorite parts of flying."
Minusy: "My check-in / luggage drop off experience were extremely frustrating. I arrived at the airport about 3 hours and 20 minutes prior to my flight and the line was relatively short. However, the line started backing up, as apparently only one clerk was available at some given time. The clerk only taking only first class/business class members caused the back up. As the line continued to grow, economy customers started getting upset and walked over to inquire about the delay (after probably 30 minutes of non movement of our line). The clerk explained to those who inquired that more staff had been dispatched and would be arriving shortly. Suggestions: When understaffed, it would be helpful to first announce potential delays and then alternating between business/first class and economy customers (3 to 1 or other). This would give us insight and not leave us wondering as if we don't exist. Luckily, more people arrived and the line started to move more quickly. During my checking (after about 45 minutes in line), a clerk mentioned that my bag was too bulky and needed to be flattened as it otherwise would need to be checked in at my cost. When I explained that the bag had been my domestic and international carry-on and for some time, she asked to fit it into the carry-on box on the side of he counter. My carry-on did not fit as the wheels were outside of the box and the front of the luggage by design was a little slightly elevated from the rest of the bag. She proceeded to say: "All I can tell you is to flatten your bag or you will have to pay." I did not understand her instructions and on asking her how to flatten a elevated front portion of the bag, she responded: "I'm telling you what I've told everyone else. It's up to you." At this point I was visibly upset as I felt being dismissed rather than being helped. This was made worse when attempts for clarifications were not being responding to. Finally, a customer who was being helped on the counter next to me stepped in and clarified that what she probably meant was to take out clothing from my carry on, and move it to my check in and my backpack, which I did. I thanked the woman and finished check in. The luggage remained "bulky" at the front but customer rather than clerk helped me translate instructions. This experience was frustrating and set off my vacation on a bad foot.This was my first experience with BA and this type of passive aggressive behavior is unacceptable and should be addressed. Clerks are here to help us, not to make us feel dumb or unworthy of clarifications."

Lufthansa is shooting itself into foot by Air Canada alliance .Never again will I book my flight with Air Canada Airlines ( God forbid Rouge).Flight Toronto Vancouver ,disgrace ....freezing cold on board but staff wouldn't notice same because they were not present except giving off skimpy 2 servings of water/juice . Tea (old ,too strong,yak).Wake up people ,none of the passengers I spoken to had anything positive to say ! I liked my Lufthansa flight to Europe but for the sheer reason having to return with Air Canada I will avoid booking this flight .Thank You."

Minusy: "Seats so close should not be able to recline in someone's lap, makes it for a very uncomfortable ride. Not every passenger cares about the comfort of others. Therefore if seating have to be that close together they should not be able to recline. Our flight got in at 1am and because a family member needs assistance we were told to wait by some parked golf carts and someone would be right over to assist, we waited as we saw all passengers walk by and flight crew and no one showed. Then decided to slowly start walking and after awhile an angel of the airport staff, I wish I got her name to thank her saw our struggling through and quickly ran to grab a wheelchair and assisted us right to our shuttle service.These are the things that make airport service more pleasant, for such a state of the art airport the experience for passengers should run a little smoother and assistance to those that need it should be readily available. The announcement of group 4 and 5 boarding sent the mob into a frenzy and they shoved their way in front of all of us group 3's knocking me down. The Air Canada staff did not assist nor did they do anything to regulate groups and ensure everyone's safety. I have never been more disappointed in an airline. Im fine now in case anyone cares."

Minusy: "The credit was not polite and quite unfriendly."

Minusy: "We did not make this flight due to the first flight being over an hour late. This caused us to miss our connection to St. Louis. While they rerouted others on the flight, they did not reroute us because we didn't check any luggage! Their reasoning was we had a chance to make the connection. But they made us wait in a line for 10 minutes to be told that despite our requests to go to the gate. By then it was too late. We then had to fly stand by to Chicago and stand by again to get to St. Louis."

Minusy: "Poor room service, no TV for 10 h long flight, meals were small and not tasty, wine or beer has to be bought. Parents with little babies were sitting in all passengers area. I was hungry and tired after this flight."

Minusy: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Minusy: "Given customs form in German, when asked for English flight attendant said they were out. asked another later and she brought it immediately. After herded through security (again) and customs, with no explanation on what to expect, our connecting flight's gate was in the basement. It looked like a third world bus station. No place to sit, totally packed, could not understand announcements, only bagel place to eat that was out of most everything. I will avoid Air Canada and Toronto airport if at all possible."

Minusy: "10+ hour international flight and there were no TV's and no free alcohol. There was an option to rent an ipad."

Minusy: "If you are going to make people download things in order to watch movies or tv on a nine hour flight. You shouldn't charge people that don't have the devices to use one that you have on board. Also, making your entertainment app only available to apple customers and not android seems very unfair."

Plusy: "1. Pilot kept plane informed which is great especially when there is potential turbulence."
Minusy: "1. No entertainment on the flight. Not even opportunity to see where the plane is in flight and when we will arrive. No USB charger on the flight. Very outdate plane. 2. The plane was very dirty - trash in between the seat 4. The food was the worst I ever tried on the plane 5. I was very surprised at the very disappointing service. I must say, with all the travel I do, apart from 1 young lade, the flight attendants acted like they loathed being there. It is so disappointing especially b/c I am Canadian so it is a bit embarrassing that Air Canada seems to have such terrible service. 6. The flight attendants were out of a lot of things, I heard them mention several beverages they were out of throughout the flight. I also heard them say that there will be no hot beverages while seatbelt sign is on (which it was a lot). I guess that is reasonable, however, it is the first time I have encountered that on the place. Instead they directed to passengers to come up to the back of the plane to get a hot beverage when the seatbelt sign was off. I did a few times - 1st time they said they were out of cups and to stop by later. But 2nd time had the cups. Did these cups get magically delivered midair or perhaps maybe they just needed to bring cups from the storage on the place and could have given me an option to wait while they retrieve them. 2nd time when I stopped by to try to get a hot beverage, a lady with black hair just gave me an empty cup. The whole experience with this flight was confusing - some attendants seemed not to understand fully what passengers were asking."

Plusy: "There was enough legroom, as compared to airlines like Cathy Pacific."
Minusy: "All the flight attendants seemed a bit frazzled; I felt guilty for asking for wine with lunch, and you had to either use your own device or pay $10 to access the in-flight entertainment. Even then, I could only watch TV shows on my laptop --you need an app to see movies. Very strange and felt like being in a domestic flight."

Plusy: "The cabin crew was friendly and very attentive, since they realized the passengers couldn't get any peace or comfort due to the screaming child problem."
Minusy: "Nine hour flight from Warsaw to Toronto, 7 hours of on and off ear-piercing screaming two year old child. Even though it was a daytime flight, most passengers wanted to sleep due to early morning wake up and previous connections. Even for somebody who wished to stay awake, there was nothing pleasurable about this situation. The airlines are going to have to figure out how to deal with this ever-increasing problem on long-distance flights, like a closed door quiet space for the parent and child. It was like being trapped in a torture chamber. If an adult had created that much commotion and misery on a flight, they would have been forcefully subdued and probably arrested. A few minutes of a crying baby can be excused, but this was non-stop disturbance by an unruly child and complacent parent(s)."

Plusy: "Very nice crew! Kids were given a pilot's cabin tour. Good selection of food and drinks. Good on-board entertainment. On-time :)"

Minusy: "We got a hotel in St. Louis so we'd be plenty early for our morning flight. Got to the airport more than 2 hours early, checked in and waited. They announced over the overhead speakers that our flight was delayed due to mechanical issues. Then delayed again. Then cancelled. We were on the phone with both the airline and priceline ASAP. By "on the phone" I mean "holding for the next available representative...", which was more than an hour wait for both. The airline didn't have another flight they could fit us on until next week. We asked priceline to get us on the next available flight. We held, were disconnected, held, held more, disconnected, held more...until the day was gone. That evening they finally said they booked us on a 6:15 a.m. flight. I asked for an email confirmation and when it didn't arrive several hours later I called back. "Please hold" was the catch phrase of the day. Eventually a rep came on the line and said that we had a 6:15 a.m. flight, gave me the flight number, etc. and said the email would arrive shortly. We went to bed feeling good. We got up at 3 a.m. to get to the airport by 4 a.m. The airline didn't have anything on us. We had two hours to get this straightened out so we weren't TOO worried. "Please hold" When the priceline rep finally came on the phone she said we had reservations and the airline should let us on. Even though it was 5 a.m. now there was a long line at the airport check-in. When we got to the front of the line the guy dug deeper into his system, said he could find our reservation, but that priceline just hadn't purchased the tickets. I told this to the priceline rep on the phone. "Please hold" We watched as our flight left. We spent the day trying to get priceline to get us on a flight, but I was never able to speak to someone able to get us on a flight."

Minusy: "You put me on Delta once I got to Detroit. Confusing and exhausting when you're not use to different airports and flying."

Minusy: "Food was bad,"

Minusy: "it was two hours late"

Plusy: "Air Canada worked hard to get people where they needed to be but security was somewhat difficult although understandable"

Minusy: "We took off 1 to two hours late"

Plusy: "Crew was nice but customer service at the airport and over the phone is terrible (takes over 30 min to speak with someone and a few times they hang up the phone)"
Minusy: "Luggage was delayed for over 36 hours and customer service hotline was useless."

Plusy: "Flight was short. Crew was very good"
Minusy: "Not much to like in a short hop in a small plane."

Minusy: "In a 4-5hour flight it would be nice to at least get a complimentary snack on the plane along with the beverage."

Plusy: "Boarding experience and cleanliness of the plane. Much better entertainment experience than other air canada planes"
Minusy: "Seats were horrible - did not recline at all (seat 23k)"

Plusy: "Originally this flight was scheduled to be an 1hr and 17minute flight. It only took 55 minutes from gate to gate. Flight attendant was really friendly, overall a very great experience."
Minusy: "The aircraft that was servicing this route was tiny and at times I found it difficult to stand up properly without hitting my head. There was a little chop upon takeoff but besides that everything went smoothly."

Plusy: "I was landing in Montreal around 2am and my next flight wasn't until 18 hours later. I talked to the crew about suggestions for finding food, a good place to wait, and suggestions for seeing the city. They were fantastic. Suggested the 747 bus so I could see Montreal and helped point me in the right direction for where to be comfortable as I waited for the city to wake up. Thank you all so much!!"

Minusy: "The baggage checkin was awful. The boarding check in was awful. The security check in was awful. The customs check in was awful. Understaffed and inefficient. The baggage conveyor backed up. The same staff that checked in our baggage was the same person who then ran upstairs to check us in at gate and it was all hand done and not computer scanned. No check in kiosks to make ticket checkin faster. Lines were all backed up and I barely made flight and my connection. Many either missed flights it connection or plane was held up to get people to flights. The lady at customs check in was good trying to handle the back ups but the shrine was severely backed up and understaffed. The pilots made good time and handle the turbulence well. Staff on board did well with timing of food and drinks Entertainment on board was awful. Didn't find out until on board on 8 hour international flight that needed an iPad with downloaded app for entertainment and therefore I had three kids that had nothing to do. Never did I have such an issue with an international flight that was so poorly managed. So disappointed."

Plusy: "Flight crew as great. Our flight was a third full and after 2 weeks of traveling together they allowed us to separate so that we could both stretch out and have some breathing room."

Plusy: "Free wifi in airport, easy boarding and disembarking"
Minusy: "Limited movies on wifi, limited sandwiches"

Plusy: "Timing"
Minusy: "N/q"

Plusy: "The crew was attentive."
Minusy: "The aircraft was older and less comfortable than the one used on the shorter Vancouver to Toronto leg."

Minusy: "Tiny space and chair width."

Minusy: "Both fights were not on time."

Plusy: "Boarding was quick"
Minusy: "No in flight entertainment, small kid sized cup to drink from that was mostly ice, small crowded seating."

Plusy: "The film "Aliens""
Minusy: "When we checked in to our connecting flight in Toronto we were told that the flight was over sold and we couldn't board. Some nice strange chap was convinced to sacrifice his seat in exchange for cash so we could fly so we felt better about being able to fly on the flight we had already paid for anyway and were still confused. Then I ate a veggie loaf and my nice girlfriend puked on the plane."

Plusy: "Entertainment was good"
Minusy: "It was okay, not the best."
