Plusy: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

I heard the crew make announcements about mask requirements but never saw anyone being directly reprimanded or corrected for not wearing a mask or not covering their nose while boarding or walking around the cabin. Even though I only counted fewer than 20 passengers for over 100 seats, upon boarding, three solo passengers were assigned to sit in adjacent seats, with me in the row directly in front of them and another passenger in the row directly behind them. There was no precaution to space out passengers whatsoever. I had tried to choose my seating during check in but the online app was difficult to understand what seats were actually open or taken. Once I boarded it was clear the online information was incorrect. With so few passengers, the gate crew could easily have taken the time to review seating and re-seated customers for improved health and safety. This was my first time flying during COVID and I had thought airlines were doing more to instill trust in customers to keep customers flying but I will not be flying again until COVID is over as I did not see precautions keeping customers safe."

Also, the ratio of carbohydrates to protein in the main meal was way out of kilter. I don't want rice + potatoes + bread + crackers all in one meal, with zero vegetables. Having got through all the hurdles including incomprehensible up, down, up again down again escalator rides and security pat down for my wife we got to Concourse 5 where we learned our plane was leaving from C gates, but not which C gate. So we looked for directions to C gates. The only signage was for C gates 52 to 57. Common sense would lead one to believe that C gates 1 to 51 existed somewhere in the terminal; but no they do not and not many people are aware that they don’t. There has to be a better way. Perhaps before Brexit becomes a reality you could lean on Germany’s vaunted efficiency to help clean up this nightmare scenario."

Minusy: "Ridiculous last-minute gate change with no notice in Frankfurt forced us to go through security twice and throw away our refreshment purchases. US Customs and Passport Control at Seatac was disorganized and downright surly. My spouse and I were separated on the flight and there is no room for adult bodies to sit with so many seats across without being pressed uncomfortably into strangers for nine hours. It is nearly impossible to sleep under such inhuman conditions. Shame on British Airways for putting profit over service and comfort."

Minusy: "I'm 6'2" and slender - those seats are tight in both leg room and shoulder width, hence the "OK" rating for comfort. I was fortunate that my seat mates were also slender so none of us overlapped the armrests, and that the person ahead of me never reclined their seat because I have no idea of where my legs would have fitted had they done so. The only other gripe is that the volume of the entertainment system seems disconnected from the announcement system. The announcement system is WAY louder than the entertainment system - painfully so. I noticed many others around me also ripping off their headphones when a crew announcement commenced."

Minusy: "This was in coach class, so I understand the cramped quarters, but even on a long haul flight (BA 49, LHR-SEA), how could they justify the seating in the planes? Perhaps BA executives should fly coach class on one of these planes to understand what they are putting their customers up to. Here are 2 additional items that should be a no-brainer to fix: a) They ran out of fresh bottled water. For the last one hour, all they could offer was sparkling water b) Somehow BA seem to be saving on food portions (or their caterer needs to be changed) - lunch/dinner portions are way too small."

There was NO British Airways staff available to help with obtaining actual boarding passes which were NOT available on the BA mobile app. Although we made the flight with enough time, that was only because the security line was short and the passport control line was short as well. British Airways should have staff available to process passengers and boarding passes, luggage checkin, etc. earlier for their flights."

We couldn't check in using on-line app. It wanted Visa information for USA travel even though we are US citizens, all info was entered into our flight, and we had already flown the outbound leg. The partner airline for the first leg checked us in, noted that our seats were separate and said they unable to change it. We called BA customer service - they were unable to change our seats. On arrival at Heathrow there was a huge wait at the BA processing center, when we finally presented our boarding passes and asked for a change the representative told us there was no time and we should run to our gate. I sat next to two people traveling solo so sitting together was obviously no problem Seating people on a combined booking separately, and never finding a solution other than "run to your gate, we are really behind" is verging on terrible customer service."
Minusy: "Heathrow connection process almost caused me to miss my flight, despite having 2 hours between connections. Security officer at Heathrow was very unprofessional, and took a great pleasure in delaying my processing through the security line. Specifically, I did not remove a PHONE BATTERY CHARGER from my carry-on for screening, so he proceeded to dump out the whole backpack contents, and then purposefully was very slow about putting things back in one by one.As an active duty police officer I understand the need for security and follow all the regulations and instructions to the best of my abilities. However in this case the security officer went out of his way to make the process as slow as he could. Very bad, stressful experience traveling on BA with connection at Heathrow."

Minusy: "Arrived on plane, pilot announced flight was completely booked, crew was short staffed and thanked us for our understanding. What?! How can a plane take off without all the crew? This was flight 49, a 777! Just prior to take off the flight attendant said I had to put away my iPad. (That's a first) Once airborne I attempted to recline my seat (32C), the button was completely pushed in to the armrest, broken. I told one flight attendant, she said she'd look into it. 20 minutes later I stopped another flight attendant, she said the cabin was completely booked & offered a seat in the very last row (which also doesn't recline!). Upright for 10 hours is not acceptable. Only 1 option for meal, other had ran out. Just prior to landing a different flight attendant said I had to put away my pillow (which was in my lap during take off & nothing was said then!) but said nothing at all about my iPad. Please ensure your flight attendants are consistent! I will not fly British Airways again."

Minusy: "When you book your ticket you should be able to choose your seat without having to pony up $35 to do it, I don't understand why you have to wait until you check -in 24 hours before your flight to get a "free" seat. Food was just okay. Seats not that comfortable."

Minusy: "Heathrow Airport is a horrible mess. It seems our soft shell carry-on luggage that fit fine above us on our previous British airways flight was now too large and had to be check. This bothered me greatly as multiple individuals with hard shell carry-on luggage rolled by without so much as a word. It appeared that whomever decided the seating arrangements was drunk. All of our previous flights my wife and I were seated next to each other. This flight we were seated in two different rows. After several trades (I think four) we were able to sit next to each other. I had attempted 24 hours prior to the flight to select our seats but was unable to do this without paying $50."

Plusy: "We had a very helpful terminal emplyee help us get from our arrival gate to our departure gate. I know he doesn't work for you but he was great. The arrival gate personnel (including pilots) were very sympathetic to our frustration (not having our wheelchair) and worked hard to get us to the departure gate. Good work!!"

Then when i got to the airport in London i tried checking in at the kiosk and it said it could not confirm my booking. i was brought to a help desk where they said they had to release a seat for me because the flight was so full. It was very stressful and the employees didn't seem too concerned. I understand they may deal with this on a daily basis but to me it was scary to think i may not get on a plane home when i paid over $1000.00 and it wouldn't let me check in early. I would have appreciated a little empathy."

Minusy: "These were the smallest airplane seats I've ever encountered. On the leg from Seattle to London, I was in a window seat and my 6'2" husband was wedged in a middle seat. We were both cramping up halfway through the flight. When the person in front of me reclined his seat, my meal ended up in my lap. On the London-to-Seattle return trip, for some reason, the airline changed our seats so we weren't sitting together, and changed us both to middle seats. I'd just come off an 8 hour international flight where I was provided lunch, ice cream, a pot pie snack and frequent beverage service. Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it."

Also I was only able to watch one movie, after that the system kicked me out saying high usage was making it not work for me. The gate changed a couple of times which had me trawling up and down the H and K concourses, could have done without that after the 9 hour journey I had already taken."

I'm definitely used to more updated planes, but I would have been ok without the misinformation. I ended up on a 4 hr flight bored out of my gourd—which could have been avoided."

I then had the choice of catching another flight standby, possibly not even arriving on the same day, or changing my ticket for an obscene amount of money. I hope to never deal with AA again."

So there wasn't anything that could be done. I know that at least the two guys that were traveling next to me had issues with the tv monitors as well. It was just driving it home that I will never fly on American Airlines again. I don't ask for much these days while flying, it's not like it's a luxury anymore. Her entertainment console wasn't working so they reset it but instead it reset mine (two seats over) they did this again and I let them know it was resetting mine. I was told that I was not in the seat they were resetting for ...I inquired if perhaps they should try to reset mine and see if it would, in fact, fix hers..it did. When she slipped off her shoes the carpet was soaking wet. This was a really crummy, crummy flight."

I must say, with all the travel I do, apart from 1 young lade, the flight attendants acted like they loathed being there. It is so disappointing especially b/c I am Canadian so it is a bit embarrassing that Air Canada seems to have such terrible service. 6. The flight attendants were out of a lot of things, I heard them mention several beverages they were out of throughout the flight. I also heard them say that there will be no hot beverages while seatbelt sign is on (which it was a lot). I guess that is reasonable, however, it is the first time I have encountered that on the place. Instead they directed to passengers to come up to the back of the plane to get a hot beverage when the seatbelt sign was off. I did a few times - 1st time they said they were out of cups and to stop by later. But 2nd time had the cups. Did these cups get magically delivered midair or perhaps maybe they just needed to bring cups from the storage on the place and could have given me an option to wait while they retrieve them. 2nd time when I stopped by to try to get a hot beverage, a lady with black hair just gave me an empty cup. The whole experience with this flight was confusing - some attendants seemed not to understand fully what passengers were asking."

Minusy: "Nine hour flight from Warsaw to Toronto, 7 hours of on and off ear-piercing screaming two year old child. Even though it was a daytime flight, most passengers wanted to sleep due to early morning wake up and previous connections. Even for somebody who wished to stay awake, there was nothing pleasurable about this situation. The airlines are going to have to figure out how to deal with this ever-increasing problem on long-distance flights, like a closed door quiet space for the parent and child. It was like being trapped in a torture chamber. If an adult had created that much commotion and misery on a flight, they would have been forcefully subdued and probably arrested. A few minutes of a crying baby can be excused, but this was non-stop disturbance by an unruly child and complacent parent(s)."

They did a great job of keeping us abreast of why our flight was running late, that was much appreciated! The steward on my side was just "OK", but the gal on the otherside was FABULOUS! She smiled and made eye contact with each person as she passed them a drink."
Minusy: "I felt there could have been more options for entertainment. I realize you could purchase a premium package, but for a 9 hour flight I think they could provide free a few more options for shows or movies. even the music options were very limited."
Minusy: "Flight was overbooked and we were not boarded. The personnel at the gate desk asked us to wait in the hallway outside the gate until further notification. When the plane was almost finished boarding, I went to the desk to find out whether we would get on. They admitted they had "forgotten about us". We then took the arduous trek through passport control back out to the main terminal to rebook. The only option we were presented was a flight the next day, instead of our 9h direct flight from Frankfurt to Seattle this was going to be a 19h flight via a long layover in Chicago. I tried hard to work with the agent to find another option, and asked for the supervisor. She told me "this isn't going to help you". Horrible horrible."
Minusy: "Non existent customer service. No individual lighting in main cabin, no attempt to fix the problem. Bathrooms were falling apart and disgusting. Cattle car mentality."

Minusy: "Condor seems to take every opportunity to retell the customer that you’re flying cheap. Inadequate staff, grumpy stewardesses, horrid food and the older very cramped seat style. By the time we added surcharges for seats and luggage, we were already in the regular fare range of Lufthansa. Which we regretted not taking to Germany. Beware."
Minusy: "It took over an hour for the baggage to start coming out, and they were so disorganized it came out on two different baggage carousels."
Plusy: "We arrived safely."
Minusy: "This cheap airline packs in the passengers like sardines, then randomly charges them for the weight of their carryon luggage; the staff are rude; the boarding process was completely bungled; and for any good food or entertainment the passengers are again charged extra. I am never flying with Condor again!"
Plusy: "Knowing they were going to miss my connection, they accepted the booking anyway, out of pure greed and complete disregard for my wellbeing. When I missed my connection in FRA they rebooked me on FRA-YVR-YYZ. That’s a day in a hotel then flying half way around the world to save them a buck. Terrible airline and I’ll never fly them again."

Minusy: "There were only two movies for free. You have to pay for all others."
Plusy: "The flight crew was great, and the aircraft was very nice and clean."
Minusy: "I showed up to the airport 2+ hours early, I tried to check in online, was given a error the said my reservation didn’t exist. When I arrived at the airport I went to the check in counter, when I told them I was checking for a flight to Seattle, i was told that I couldn’t check in because there was a issue with my flight. I was directed to a corner of the terminal. This corner had no chairs or seats for us, we sat there for 2+ hours all the way up to the time our flight was intended to depart. All the while we tried to get information or what was the issue, but we were just stonewalled. Finally past our boarding time were were told the flight was being canceled, and to standby for more information. Another half an hour went by before they told us they were getting us a hotel, and buses to the hotel. So then we waited another 15 minutes or so when they asked us if we had checked in because we needed a ticked to get a room at the hotel. Again we waited in line for 20+ minutes to check in. I had 2 bags to check, one I need at the hotel, the other I did not. They let me check the one bag I could, told me to check the other at the business class check in in the morning to avoid the line, sounds good, or so I thought. So condor gathers us all up, an entire 767 worth of people, and begins hearding us to the buses, they don’t tell us where we’re going, just to follow the one employee, to the 5 or so buses. A large group of us got split off at a set stairs, helping older folks and family with strollers get down the stairs. Now I spent 30 minutes wandering around Frankfurt am main looking for buses. Well they don’t park them out front, they park them out in the middle of nowhere. Finally get to get hotel, it’s a nice hotel. The next morning the lady at the business class desk was extremely rude."
Plusy: "Smooth flight and I always appreciate the flight tracker!"
Minusy: "Either El Al Airlines or Condor lost my bag:-( The boarding process was really weird and slow. It would have been nice to have identified the gate earlier."
Plusy: "The online entertainment has a nice variety of interesting shows, including documentaries. My seat was comfortable with good leg room, but only because I got lucky when I asked for an exit row seat while checking in. The regular economy seats are extremely narrow and uncomfortable with almost no leg room (and I am only average in heigh). Taller people sitting in regular aisle seats are hanging their legs out into the aisle throughout the flight because they have to for any kind of reasonable comfort."
Minusy: "Somehow the airline should tell passengers that they are going to have to go through a(mother) strict security process before getting on the plane in Frankfurt to the U.S. We all stood in line for close to an hour in a very hot area of the airport to go through full-on security - water gets thrown out, shoes off, laptops out - the whole works, again. I had already gone through this kind of security in Vienna for the Vienna-Frankfurt leg of my trip. I had no idea this was going to be required and had planned to use my time in Frankfurt to relax and get something to eat. Instead it was spent standing in a surprise security line that moved extremely slowly. Not a fun way to spend the time before getting on an 11-hour flight. If they are going to require that security they should have many more lines available so that it moves at a reasonable pace."
Plusy: "The food and some complimentary beverages were good. The movies minimal and extra cost."
Minusy: "The boarding process was very disorganized, the seats had very little leg room, and the guy behind kept pushing my seat forward with his knees and complaining when I put my seat back."
Minusy: "First, we went to check-in to get our boarding passes, onlyfor the woman at the counter to tell us we were on Stand-By... for the flight we bought VERY expensive tickets for a YEAR in advance, because they overbooked the flight (100% the AIRLINES fault). Then after some panic time had passed, the same woman told us she was able to get us on the flight, like she'd done us some massive favor, but that we would not be able to sit together. (We are a husband and wife that were on our honeymoon). Then, once we are finally on this flight, cramped near all these strangers, we both go to find some solace in the on-board entertainment, only to find out, they only offered TWO movies free of charge. Two movies for a 10 hour flight. Seriously??? Then, we were served some on board meals, due to the duration of the flight. The food gave me food poisoning. This was by far the WORST flight experience of my life. We will NEVER be flying air Condor again. Nor, will I be referring this company to anyone."
Minusy: "Frankfurt was a mess. The gate wasn't announced till shortly before boarding. The gate had it's own security line which was inefficient. Plane ended up leaving an hour late because >100 people were still stuck in security. No vegetarian options for food."
Minusy: "We were required to go through FIVE SECURITY SCREENING CHECKPOINTS while changing from flight from Athens to Munich on Lufthansa to the flight from Munich to Seattle on Condor airlines. - EACH LINE WAS SINGLE FILE AND SLOW... - SCREENERS WERE NOT IN SYNC WITH ONE ANOTHER... ONE SCREENER TELLING US TO DO ONE THING AND THEN OTHER SCREENERS REQUIRING US TO GO BACK TO THE END OF THE LINE FOR THEIR MISTAKE... THE FLIGHT THEN LEFT MORE THAN AN HOUR LATE... TERRIBLE MOVIE SELECTION WAS VERY POOR..."
Plusy: "Just another average flight. Entertainment system worked. Friendly crew."
Minusy: "There is no way to get comfortable in those seats when you are 1,90m 6ft3 Charge to watch movies. Some of them pretty racy especially if you have little kids close to you"
Minusy: "Economy movies only two options, that's great but one option was "Part One" of a Harry Potter movie. Should of at least had Part Two available or not shown part one...just a thought."
Plusy: "food dinner good staff was wonderful"
Minusy: "the seats in economy are like a straight jacket ..i cant even bend over to pick something up if i drop it... i will not book with Condor again if i dont have to."
Minusy: "The boarding process was beyond terrible. Enough that I will never fly with Condor again."

Plusy: "This flight was a little more challenging. The flight was delayed by 3 hours. I do appreciate thought that the Condor airline made the necessary arrangements to ensure their passengers can make the connection to their final destination even though we landed past the time we were to make our next connection. They too care of making sure to secure another flight for the passengers who missed their first connection. Great job. I made it back home the same day."
Plusy: "I can't say much of any part of the trip was good but I'm glad the flight is over with."
Minusy: "Bad parts: The tightness of the seat area between the arm rests is too constrictive. Passenger to my side overlapped my arm for extra room. Leg room is too close and could not stretch legs under seat without knees bumping seat ahead. The passenger ahead tilting seat back when food was served pushed my food tray into my lap. International flights should include entertainment movies at no additional fee."

Minusy: "Impolite and poor checkin. arogant staff least legroom I have ever haad on any flight terrible food poor coffee I will never fly condor again unless no other choice I will pay more to tkae a different carrier."

Minusy: "Stood in line for two hours before even getting to the concourse. Then sat on the plane another 1.5 hours while luggage was removed for passengers who did not clear security. Leg room was terrible and I am not particularly tall. When passenger in front of me reclined her seat it knocked my Kindle out of my hand and about took out a knee."
Plusy: "Premium economy is far better than economy - economy has far less leg room, and as I'm 5'11" that made a big difference. It also provides you with more movie options (15 v. 2). All in all it was a good flight."
Minusy: "The food, even the upgraded version in premium economy, is not good. Also, for boarding, everyone really boarded at once and you had to go through additional security to get to the gate so you were basically stuck in a waiting room until your flight left with only vending machines (but there were bathrooms so that was good!)."
Minusy: "The hour wait in line to get to an agent, the hour wait in line to clear security, the hour wait in line to get to the gate,the non-existence of any communication from the representatives of Condor, the two plus hours lateness of the flight taking off, the cancellation of our connecting flight with no communication to us, the extreme difficulty of talking with anyone from Condor, and the list goes on. This experience was the worst flight experience of my life and I am a veteran traveler through out the world. This airline reflects badly on Kayak!"

Plusy: "This is a new service out of New Orleans which I found very convenient and efficient. Smooth flight and good, attentive crew."
Minusy: "Communication regarding reservations and follow-up check-in was not very easy. Also at the airport when I stopped and asked a Condor employee for directions to locate my connecting flight, her initial response was curt --that she could not help me as she was in the process of boarding passengers -- although there was no one but her there. She then directed me elsewhere."
Plusy: "Flight was on time. Plane was clean. Staff friendly and attentive. Seats recline."
Minusy: "Economy seats lack adjustable headrests found in economy class seats of other airlines. The kind that support your head side-to-side. Without headrest, it was difficult to sleep on the 10 hour flight. The seat has less legroom than other airlines, I have a 32" inseam and my knees touched the seat in front of me."
Plusy: "cost to bump up to business class was 720 euros apiece? Coach seats very uncomfortable, probably wont fly them again due to this movie selection good, had to pay for the use of headphones and to watch movies"
Minusy: "cabin was way too hot, happy I had layers on so that i could cool off flight took off late and boarding was a mess, just a gob of people no organized sections Seats very uncomfortable, too short for tall people, with seat reclined hard on back."
Minusy: "We couldn't not buy anything during the flight. We were told that US major credit cards were not excepted (e.g. Visa, MC). Everything from Alcohol, Movies/TV, snacks, food, etc. was unavailable because we didn't have cash. We basically starved the entire 10 flight. 2 meals were served at the beginning and end of the flight, but nothing in between. We were in Italy/ Germany for several weeks and no problems with our CC, we spent our cash prior to flight because we didn't want to bring back excess foreign money. Will not fly condor again. We flew premium economy there and it was enjoyable, the seats were not available on the way back and its was miserable flight."

Minusy: "The boarding staff were extremely poor. Totally disorganized - failed to explain the multiple lines, made everyone go through a separate line just to ask us if we'd give up our seats. Then had to move to another line to check our boarding passes and passports for the 4th time. Staff was extremely unhelpful and rude. Will not be flying condor again."
Plusy: "The crew was very nice. Meals were provided. the tablet set up so that we could watch movies, TV, our location during the flight or listen to music. Flight was on time."
Minusy: "No leg room. The person in front of me reclined their seat and there was barely room for a coffee cup on the table. My husband, who is not a particularly tall person had his knees against the seat in the front. Frankfurt is an odd airport. I lost track of all the lines that we stood in. Had to pay for more selection on movies and TV."
Plusy: "Great value for money. I paid extra fee for premium entertainment, but it was pretty cheap and still a lot less than what I would have paid on other airlines for the trip. The service was excellent, the food was very good. I would recommend this airline to anyone. I paid for the premium food on the way back. It was excellent, although the regular food was not bad."

Never will fly again on Condor Ailines!"
Plusy: "Straight through flights from west coast to europe"
Minusy: "both the outgoing and return flights did not start boarding until after the flight was scheduled to leave. The gate leaving from Frankfurt had its own security line for just this gate, and then we were coralled in a small space waiting to board, and this little area was packed and really hot in comparison to the rest of the airport. Had to pay to choose a seat, as I didn't want them to stick me in a middle seat. also had to pay to get more than 2 movies, the card reader declined all 3 of my cards (they worked in the airport before boarding). I guess Im used to the fantastic service of Alaska airlines, where they are much more willing to give you free things on the plane, meals, drinks, especially if the card reader doesn't work. Luckily the gal next me had some cash to cover me. I also asked for a pen to fill out my custom papers, and a stewardess said no, she didn't have a pen and walked off. I would like to say I wouldn't fly them again, but they are cheap, and not having layovers is really nice"
