Minusy: "Positively ancient entertainment system with poor selection and bad visual quality. Ads pop up every time you go into another menu. If you're flying SIN->BNE I'd avoid the 7.20am departure, you'll get the old 777-200s rather than the A350s they run on other departures."

The enclosure also protuded into my left bicep when I had my elbow resting on the arm rest. Table on my right hand side was too close to my body, and to high to reach a drink easily, I literally had to lift my whole right arm to pick up a glass."

Minusy: "Boarding at Singapore airport was shocking, as we had to wait 6 hours for our flight. Rating low to the crew mainly because of the ground staff as they were not very communicative to begin with about the explanation for our delay. Only when the passengers got a bit more vocal about wanting explanations, they started giving us a bit more information. All estimated times given for boarding the flight were incorrect by a big margin! Seemed more like they were giving shorter wait time for boarding just to please the passengers, where as they were well aware of how long the wait would be."

The starter (vermicelli) was overly salty, dry and severely undercooked. The main course was acceptable but the portion of chicken was more like side dish not main. Missing sides."

My husband and daughter were in First Class. The service was below average to say the least - more training required from check in to on board - (in Sydney the staff on the ground went above and beyond) In Singapore it was very fake and contained no sincerity. The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

Minusy: "There was an incident prior to take off where a passenger in first class had to be removed from the plane. Though it’s certainly not the airlines fault that there was an issue with a passenger, they should’ve been a lot more transparent and gave us a lot more information on what exactly was going on other then “we need to go back to a special area to get this passenger off.” Couple that with the security checks to “make sure there is nothing on the plane that shouldn’t be” and very little explanation of what actually occurred, it made for a very stressful flight. Not knowing if this passenger had made any kind of threat against the plane, or safety of other passengers... etc, it was very hard to feel safe for the remainder of my trip being left in the dark as the incident occurred in first class."

After going through the whole security screening process to enter the departures area (I boarded in Singapore), the whole security process is performed again to get to the gate. Why do I and my carry-on luggage need to be checked twice? Once at the gate, all passengers are herded like sheep into an area that has insufficient seats for the number of passengers, so many are left to stand or sit on the floor. If the airline wants to use a plane that carries 500+ passengers, then use a gate that can accommodate that number."

Minusy: "Entertainment system on our section of the Qantas A330-200 had failed and was not operational for the entire trip. This meant no movies, no music, no safety video or announcements and no flight map for the entire journey of almost 8 hours. Crew were not very responsive to this and it seemed like a low priority vs everything else they were doing. After almost 2 hours and complaingpts from a number of the 24 passengers impacted, they did a "soft and hard reset" of the system which did nothing. Initially crew suggested they had an alternative (Tablets) but subsequently denied this. I felt they had already handed these out and did not hav enough. Having been the very first person to raise this issue (10 mins before the flight was to leave), I felt I should have been offered one, but clearly they did not do so. Altogether pretty disgusted with crew attitude and responsiveness. We also felt the food was of very poor quality too - it was too salty and what should have been crisp was soggy. We will NEVER fly Qantas again (even a code share)."

While booking the tickets mine and my wife’s full details such as the Name, Nationality and Passport were given. In spite of this nowhere was it mentioned in the Quantas terms and conditions or any prompt/popup given while booking the tickets that Australian transit visa is required for Indians since the flight is via Australian city. I had booked the tickets well in advance and had enough time to get transit visa had there been any information about it mentioned. On 1st December 2016 when we went to the Changi airport we were not allowed to board the plane as we did not have the Australian transit visa. We were told by Quantas personnel at the airport to go to the Australian embassy in Singapore to get the transit visa and that we would get it within a day. Next day we went to the embassy and found that the Australian visa is done by VFS global at a different address. When went there they informed us that Australian visa takes minimum 5 days. I had all my hotel bookings in New Zealand already done hence I had no choice to take a direct Singapore Auckland flight via Singapore Airlines at a very high price on the next day. I also lost one day of my hotel booking in Auckland and had to forfeit the money. I and my wife had to go through the psychological trauma of being refused to board the plane, then the next day running around the Australian embassy / VFS global office for trying to get the Australian transit visa and facing the uncertainty regarding our new Zealand trip which was planned well in advance for our 25th wedding anniversary"

The staff at the desk [a man and a woman] were extremely helpful and verified a change would be acceptable and they put in all of the work to make it happen - we returned an hour later and they had switched us to a flight from SYD - SFO - LAX on Qantas airlines. Things from there went off without a hitch ; while our departure time was still 5 hours later, we arrived to the US earlier than we would have on the SYD-NAN-LAX flight."

Plusy: "The boarding and service by the staff was very good. We had a most comfortable flight to Sydney on FJ911 leaving very promptly. We were given a Sydney newspaper which I appreciated to catch up on news."
Minusy: "We were very disappointed in the breakfast and ate little of it. The scrambled egg didn't taste convincing. There were stale potato wedges - luke warm, the sausage resembled devon . The yogurt, muffin and juice were OK. My 2 cups of tea were VERY GOOD. The flight was very COLD. After being in tropical Fiji particularly noticeable ."

Minusy: "Food service was awful. They ran out of options and only had one choice by time got toward middle /back of the plane. This happened both ways. So if your seated toward the rear bring your own food and snacks if needed."

Minusy: "Seats are very tight and are short on comfort. The "occupied" toilet signs not working causing queues. On meals, forget the things that are impossible to to sustain in a fresh/tasty state, like melon, Tomatoes fried, certain types of sandwich where the bread absorbs any liquid/juice, overuse of rolls. The meals are tested under almost clinical conditions, who ever travels Economy and tastes the food in situ. Put more of the edible foood in. People prefer a single course meal as against a 3 course with dead ends on each side of the main."

Minusy: "Seats are terrible. Crew didn't ask if I wanted to drink anything with the meal. Seemed like a budget flight."

Minusy: "Booked business to get some needed sleep on the red eye as I'm straight into work today. Babies crying disturbed sleep and bags delayed to boot. Unimpressed."

Plusy: "Gate was super close to the lounge."
Minusy: "The security check at the gate requires one to leave the comfort of the lounge early incase of queues and then wait in an over crowded lounge with the other passengers (so the fact you are business/first or have one world status does little to ease the burden of boarding. The lounge also did not offer red eye passengers a meal and the on board meal service is slow (so if you are hungry it eats into precious sleeping time). The breakfast wakeup was also disappointing. My meal of choice was not available and the whole process was rushed like a fast food restaurant. Overall I am disappointed by the club world offering on this route and would not pay for it again unless intended to get on and just sleep for the entire journey."

Maybe London airport problem, but both flights from London (at the start of holiday and at the end) were delayed. Nearly missed my connecting flight to NZ. Overall: Resent experience with BA and London Heathrow airport was to the extend that my future travel won't be with BA nor through London airport."

Minusy: "One of the worst experience I’ve had, if not the worst. Lack of communication between flight attendants at gate was the main reason for missing our flight, after 2 delays from the previous flight. When we got to the gate they closed it at that moment, earlier than it should have. A Mr. Fenney, person in charge at the gate, didn’t help much. Just went through the motion and as slow as possible trying to help us. It seemed he just wanted to pretend he was helping us. Worse was his attitude when telling is the gate has already closed, didn’t do anything to help us, nothing at all. We had to literally get information out of him. We then went to customer service were the same thing happened, a lack of care that we missed our flight due to things out of our control. Even to the point where the agent told us “be sure to be there on time this time”, like if it was our fault we missed it (we told her the details of our situation). Till this point they don’t seem to care. They left about 15 people, that i know of, hanging. If they had better comunication between gates and waited a miserably 5 more minutes (although they closed the gate earlier then they should have) everyone would have made it. Throughout the whole process we noticed that american airlines employees did not care that many on that first flight had connection flights. They were just going through the motion, slowly while all of us were a bit desperate knowing that the layover time was going to be very close."

Plusy: "The best flight that I have had in my life. Never been a very good traveler going on long distances. Peter came it was great. The number of times there were these snacks and meals offered along with coming up and down the isles with extra cups of juice was really nice. I was fortunate enough To have purchased and reserved in advance and emergency exit I’ll seat which gave me the room that I needed because of my length."

Minusy: "The seat density BA has put on the 787 is ridiculous for a long haul flight. Impossible for a grown adult to get comfortable with the narrow seat pitch on this aircraft."

Minusy: "The Airlines is Ari Lingus not British Airways Air Lingus has extremely tiny seats for a 11 hours flight. The technology on the plane was very slow and poor. The flight attendants hardly ever brings you water or juices and alcohol is not free of charge for an intercontinental flight. We got took off late cause of the weather but we were all safe."

Minusy: "Poor legroom with large entertainment boxes taking up valuable space under the seat. Armrests do not lift all the way up - only go 45 degrees which is useless if sitting next to your partner and want some more room!"

Minusy: "I had to cancel my trip due to a family emergency. The only way I could get a “partial” refund was to pay another $700. Makes no sense. I already paid over $1000 for tickets and you want me to give you another $700 in order to give me a refund."

Plusy: "Flight was on time. Check in staff, Lounge + lounge staff and Cabin crew were on par with expectations (very good). Disembarking the plane at Heathrow was organised, immigration process (I used the e-gates) was very quick and bags arrived promptly."
Minusy: "Many ground staff on hand - but felt overall lack of coordination specifically after security check at the gate, with yet another boarding card check which seemed a bit pointless as boarding cards were checked before gate security as well? Eventually boarding the plane - one lady ended up in the wrong line for upper deck seating (which shows that the numerous boarding card checks they failed to give proper guidance on what line to join)."

Plusy: "Everyone is so nice with British Airways. The food is always a delight too. I'll definitely fly with them again!"
Minusy: "It seems the economy seats get smaller and smaller, but the trip was great overall."

Minusy: "Seat is small, no food menu on a 12-hour long haul flight from SIN to London. Only 1 available meal type: bland tasting "sea bass" soaked in tomato sauce. The air crew spent most of their time sitting in the back - zero effort in service - not once did they make rounds with cups of water/juice. In between meals, I request for some snacks and they said they don't carry any snacks at all - onboard a 12-hour long flight. I asked to BUY some Malteser chocolate and pringles, and the air crew exclaim "ohhhh but it's on the upper deck, I would have to climb up to get some." Here how about some bread rolls and butter. They offered me stale bread from the previous meal. I am their One World Partners SAPPHIRE Member. I shudder to think how they would treat their standard economy class passengers."

Minusy: "Major gripe is seat allocation we had several issues but the worst was being issued with a boarding pass and seats from London to Sydney only to have them changed to inferior seats at Singapore with the ultimatum "sit in the new seats or get off the plane". Excellent for customer relations, we won't be traveling BA again"

Minusy: "1) Toilets too small 2) Toilets after first use by passengers, was not cleansed and toilet supplies like seat covers, etc not replenished 3) Not even enough toilets around."

Minusy: "While I prefer beef to be cooked rare to medium-rare (and mentioned this) on both legs the meat was well-done and dry. This is common to many airline steaks, and may be an unavoidable consequence of the limitations of preparing food on board. (Though I have had reasonably prepared meat dishes on certain AA flights). All dishes are highly under-seasoned, but a packet of salt and paper is provided, so this is not a curial concern."

Minusy: "Changan T1 is awful. BA god poor. Otherwise fight to time and uneventful. Passenger cabin in 777s feels squashed. Toilets barely cope."

Minusy: "Offer larger seats like United Airlines. For a few dollars you can upgrade economy to economy plus which offere 6 inches more leg room."

Plusy: "Overall good service"

Plusy: "Everything that BA is not; excellent crew & food"
