TV (pop up) was too small and inconvenient Housekeeping was inconsistent : half the time no face towels, coffee & milk not necessarily replaced Being told they would not give an iron to the room due to Fire Safety was absurd.

Plusy: Wonderfully comfortable hotel with some lovely touches. Coffee, tea available all day in public rooms often accompanied by wonderful traditional tarts and biscuits. Carafe of port in the room topped up as & when ! I celebrated my birthday whilst I was there and was surprised & delighted to find champagne in the room when we returned in the evening. Great breakfast selection, lovely toiletries, helpful friendly staff, a truly great place to stay. We will return.

Plusy: This is a beautiful, classic old hotel located in a great location in Lisbon. The staff were uniformly helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable. Two remarkable things to note: (1) The library and its view of the river from the top floor is a wonderful place to unwind with a drink at the end of the day; (2) The breakfast is excellent and the choices are numerous. Our whole experience staying here for 3 days could not have been more positive!

Plusy: The staff makes a difference, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Aida (cleaner/cooker) is lovely. The breakfast is simple yet delicious. The bed is one of the best I've ever slept in. Overall Lapa82 is a great place to stay in Lisbon. Definitely recommend it!

Okolica bardzo ładna koło barokowej bazyliki , gdzie akuratnie widziałam procesje podczas Niedzieli Palmowej. Obok w parku wielu mieszkańvcow odpoczywa . Rosna agawy i palmy. Dotarłam do Polski samolotem bardzo dobrze i mialam okazje zobaczyć jeszcze z okna samolotu most Vasco da Gama -11 kilometrowy oraz Atlantyk.

Minusy: Room V was much too dark no mirror in the bedroom. It was extremley dirty. Door to the bathroom didnt close. Toilet seat broken. This room would not be suitable for a large person as the shower was tiny and difficult to get into. It was not good value for money.

Hosts were initially very communicative via what's app re access after hours, but didn't respond to later requests for information ( we were staying over the weekend). Charging for help yourself tea and coffee looks stingy. The bathroom has inadequate towel racks, important as towels are changed every three days (which is commendable)

The staff were extremely helpful: from making last minute restaurant bookings (there’s a nearby Fada restaurant we loved!) to perfect breakfast. Plusy: I had a superior room. Spacious room with good curtains. Great bed that is firm but soft. They do a really fantastic breakfast. Lots of fresh fruit and healthy food. And all the things I try to avoid: scrambled eggs, sausages an mushrooms... It is a real hotel, not a converted residence. Location is ok: close to Metro station Rato.

Plusy: The suite was very roomy but was tired and only had a bath with a hand held shower hose. A small amount of tiles had come off the bathroom wall and there was mould on the toilet wall. The bed however was wonderful and comfortable and the cleaners did a good job each day. Staff were lovely.

Minusy: I thought the design of the bath / shower was unsafe. Quite a steep climb out of the bath, particularly for a short person, and elderly. A think a simple step in shower would be much safer.

Minusy: Lights in the corridor, kitchen area having a kettle and some cutlery. Just putting some soap in the bathrooms for hand washing would be a massive improvement. Think of it more as a hostel. That said It was great value in a city that is getting more expensive by the week.

Minusy: There is trouble getting in when you arrive. The front door is locked, no one hears the bell and no one answers the phone. I have lived here before many years ago and it was the same then. Even though I wrote and told about the time I would arrive. As soon as Im in...i like the place, but the panic when they don't answer the door is not fun.

Plusy: The location was great and it did what t said in the tin.

Minusy: The lock broke the first day and it took three days to fix. They didn’t hire a real locksmith just a guy who was evidently drunk so we had to keep coming back to the hotel to check on our stuff/get new keys. The lady charged us twice for city tax but we didn’t go back and change it because doing anything took far too long and we wanted to just get out of the hotel and enjoy our holiday.
