Plusy:The car I was offered was in good overall condition, minus broke tail light
Minusy:There were so many things that were wrong, but I will try to only concentrate on hard facts: 1. The front desk employee didnt know that ACE was a part of her company, and I had to show her the sign on the window to convince her. 2. She refused to let me check the lights and fuel level with her (which I though was standard) stating she "just checked it" - while sitting inside of the car checking it. Instantly after starting the car it occurred that one of the tail lights is out. 3. I had to hand write in the rental agreement that the car is missing a spare tire. 4. The radio was locked and couldn't be used - which is not a problem for me, but again it was something not noted in the rental agreement. The employee also indicated in her "assessment" she checked the radio, which she clearly didn't do. 5. The employee told me I have to return the car with full tank - even though she wouldnt check the fuel level with me, and when I got in the car I realized there is less than a half tank fuel in it. The employee at the front desk was incredibly unprofessional, basically trying to make me feel like I was wasting her time. It was not the first time I rented a car, and I was appalled by her behavior. I emailed the president of the company about it and received a prompt response and a refund - so I would rate the reaction time and action high. But I am still not ever using this company.
