Minusy: I called the local desk to see about adding a day, but no answer despite 3 attempts over 5 hours.
So I called 800-number and call was a bit cumbersome with the service rep and the price was a bit high.
Otherwise great all around. Yay Enterprise.
Minusy: I don't the blue light inside the circle around the speed . I want to reduce the beam down soft so the I see on the road . no way yo find the dial to turn down the blue light . That is all.

Plusy: Staff was friendly and quick, overall it was a quick East process
Plusy: incredibly painless process from pick up to return.
Minusy: Same old, same old. You get a cost estimate for the rental car, go to another site, and the cost of the car at the first site has doubled. Why is this considered good business?
Plusy: Customer service was very good overall.
Minusy: While the vehicle was clearly marked as a non smoking vehicle it was very obvious that one of the previous renters in fact smoked in the vehicle. I was hopeful the smell would dissipate but it never did over the 4 days we rented.
Plusy: Easy drop off. Excellent quality vehicle.
Plusy: The staff was very friendly and one reason I would come back. However, she was overwhelmed with customers. She was one person handling at least three customers while i was there. She maintained a friendly disposition though. In the middle of an epidemic, you need to be flexible and patient. The checkin process took a little while but given the environment, the staff handled it very well.

Plusy: That the woman at the next counter was able to get me a vehicle despite reserving with Alamo, and there being no one at the Alamo counter.
Minusy: I reserved online, and was emailed instructions. I arrived at the airport location to pick up the vehicle only to find that there was nobody at the desk, and a sign up saying go to another location. The woman at the next counter said it was happening to a lot of people, and because I did not pre-pay, she was able to get me a vehicle from her company.
Plusy: Staff both pick up and drop off.
Plusy: Staff was friendly but not helpful. Called at least 4 times during business hrs one day with no answer. Called second day & was put on hold 10 minutes as my phone battery ran out. Finally hung up. Returned car around 7:30am with no one at desk. Waited around 5 or 10 minutes & no one showed up.
Minusy: CONTINUED FROM ABOVE QUESTION. Received a call back several hrs after I left car saying the front bumper was misaligned. Something that was not apparent to me when I dropped the car off. If the
attendant had been there during business hrs we could have reviewed the car together. His word/mine

Minusy: Rental was for a commercial van and it was a bait and switch situation - instead of the van the only available vehicle was a Penske box truck. Vehicle had more than 100,000 miles, reeked of smoke and felt dangerous to drive.
Plusy: Car was ok
Minusy: No Airport transportation need to be reinbursed
Minusy: Nothing was needs to be better was perfect

Minusy: It was advertised there was a shuttle at the airport. There was no shuttle and never has been. I found another car at a vendor onsite, paid more and then spent 40 minutes trying to cancel my Thrifty rental. Had to drive to Thrifty to cancel in person. Never again.
Plusy: Yes, staff was efficient, calm, and very polite.
Minusy: The whole process was great. I do not see anything that could get better. Maybe asking staff if they have everything they need to ensure the service level stays at such a positive level. Thank you
Car Rental
Plusy: The car was clean and in very good condition. The people at the agency were nice and also flexible when we had to make a change. The rate was more than competitive. We found that renting with Thrifty was a positive experience.
Minusy: car location was listed as Barnstable AIRPORT; we took cab to airport for $8 and then found it wasn't on airport property; called THRIFTY and they couldn't come get us so we had to take ANOTHER taxi! THRIFTY did reimburse us THAT cab fare!
Staff was very helpful but wasted 45 minutes of FINDING our car!

Plusy: HYA Hertz were fine and helpful.
Minusy: PVD dropoff HERTZ was disinterested and didn't leave the booth. Perhaps afraid of catching COVID from customers? Prefer to have car checked by a liver person, to be sure NO damage, as you're holding $200 of my funds for just this reason. Don't hold the money if you cannot be bothered to look at the vehicle when it is returned. No damages from me, but I am disrespected and penalized for others' drivers damages when you cannot even be bothered to check -- Lazy personnel!

Plusy: Car was clean.
Minusy: Reserved and charged for a full sized car. Told I was getting a full size car at the counter. The only cars that had were compact. We had to sit with bags on our laps for 10 hours because they wouldn’t fit in the trunk or at our feet. Needed to travel that day. Have to see if I can get my overcharge back. Don’t trust that you will get anything other than what they have on the 6 car lot.
Hertz was great, vehicle not so much
Plusy: Everything but the vehicle itself. Not a knock against Hertz. Just surprised a 2017 model was how inefficient and uncomfortable as it was.
Minusy: Surprisingly, the Yaris is not very efficient. You can only go 300 mi before needing to fill up. For a small car, I would expect a little better, especially with the "Eco" feature, whatever that means. Comfortability of the seats is real low. Definitely bring something for lower back support because this does not have it. You will be Hutton for certain within an hour of driving. This is just a review of the vehicle. Hertz was great!

Minusy: As soon as there is a problem. Both Kayak and Hertz dont take responsibilities. Kayak says Hertz has to fix it and Hertz says Kayak has to fix it. I am very angry.
I wanted to change the drivers name in my car rental with plenty of days in advance, but it was impossible to do it because of this ping pong responsibilty game between the companies. At the end they made me pay more, the forced me to pay an additional driver.
Minusy: The office was closed when I returned the car, so I put my contract, keys, and gas receipt in the Dropbox. But instead of charging me for a one day rental, they charged me for three. And of course it takes 5-7 business days for my credit card to be refunded, but only one day to charge it.

Plusy: The problem is: I’ve made my reservation and the amount was about 80.00$. Yesterday I got the bill, it was 192.74$. Something wrong here.

Minusy: We returned the car via the after-hours drop-off - earlier than our rental was due. After checking our credit card statement we noticed that we had been charged an extra $100+ dollars. When I called to inquire, they had charged us for three extra days. Since there were no communications after the drop-off, we never would have known unless we checked the credit card statement. It felt underhanded and deceitful; I would not trust them again.

A quick trip from Barnstable, MA to Baltimore and back to see a game.
Plusy: Nice and roomy, good visuals with driving. 5 adults so everyone had a row with all the room you needed. Van averaged between 17 and 18 mpg with a large gas tank of 20 gallons. The AC worked great along with the Sirius radio. Picking up and dropping off at the Hyannis airport was very easy and fast. Make sure you know where the gas goes into the van (right by the driver's door).
Minusy: When it was windy, the van being very high would get pulled to one side of the road or another so I had to be very diligent while driving. At one stop for gas, the column locked when I went to start the vehicle. I called the 1-800 number on the key chain and Morgan helped me out to get the van started again.
Plusy: Quick and easy pickup and return!

Plusy: We had a lot of luggage, and the man at the desk could see that it wouldn't fit in the car we had arranged. He arranged a larger car, helped us put the back seats down, and in general was a nice guy.

Supposedly there was an error in accepting reservations before the counter was officially opened. And because it was the end of the July 4 weekend, there weren't any available cars on the entire cape. We proceeded to having to taxi, bus, and taxi with our entire family to Providence, RI (2 hrs trip) to rent a car and our entire trip took 12 hours- where about 4 hours of those were on account of the misleading reservation that you provided. It was an awful day and I do not plan on using Dollar again due to this experience.
