The following did not work - Air conditioning, WI FI did not work - no support from staff except one girl at reception. it was certainly not the rating it was supposed to be - it made our stay in Paris no so good.

The cleanliness of the room was excellent. This may seem like an obvious requirement for a hotel, but it isn't often the case in France. Well done on this point. The furniture and fittings were also of very high standard, and the hotel seems to have been recently refurbished. The room and bathroom were quite spacious and the air condition worked perfectly. There were some extras which I liked, such as free copies of the daily newspapers in the lobby, and the fact that the whole hotel is non-smoking. In a word, other hotels would do well to look at the Best Western Bercy Rive Gauche as an example to follow.

The price was very fair compared to other French hotels. However, I still think that French hotels are too expensive. I must emphasise that this is not a complaint about Best Western hotels, but about all French hotels.

The site was well located.

The room was not well kept and not clean.

Price, it was close to the train.

The lift did not work for the majority of the trip, the fact a double room was to single beds pushed together, and the lighting in the room was poor.
