Minusy: Beach is really not accessible, front desk not very friendly

Plusy: The feel of the hotel is awesome. It is cozy and very clean.

Minusy: I did not the like the sheets. They were too thin and think a comforter would be better given the rooms are all air conditioned.

Plusy: We literally did not feel like leaving the hotel because it was so relaxing. Despite the hotel being quite full it never felt overcrowded. We really enjoyed the facilities. The bonus is the private access to the beach.

Plusy: Everything's OK! We'be been visited Cala del Pi a few times for years. Breakfast was as always actually exquisite. Me and my wife really appreciate politeness and kindness of the hotel staff. Looking forward to coming again to your exclusive hotel.

Plusy: Beautiful location, fantastic restaurant and we had a beautiful room.

Minusy: Bathroom......common - those need an update. The toilet was located so close to the shower that you cant use it properly. And why do you have a bath with a shower and a separate showercabine in a room that is obviously not big enough for the two (hence the toilet issue). We did not expect so many really little kids in the hotel - so there was a lot of screaming and crying of babies and toddlers in the pool area (its ok, we just did not expect this).

Plusy: The bed was comfy and breakfast was fantastic. Location is great and parking meters were available in the area. Gym is nice and views of the sea was amazing. Spa facilities was a bonus!

Minusy: Downside, nothing really but room should be equipped with a kettle and tea/coffee facility, but had none. Unusual for a 4-star.

Plusy: It was a very pleasant stay at the Cosmopolita Hotel. I believe our choice was the best at Platja D'Aro. The location and the atmosphere of the hotel are great and it fits for couples that search for a romantic time or for some fun as well as for families. Our reception was very good and Vera, that spoke Portughese, granted us with an upgrade. Our room, with ocean view and a balcony, was clean, spacious and cosi. There was, also, a very welcome welcome cava. The staff is very helpful, specially Jana, that always had a smile to help us.

Plusy: The staff is nice and helpfu they helped us with every little thing we neededl. The hotel is a on the beach and 2 minutes walk from the Main Street.

Minusy: Nothing. Everything was pefect.

Plusy: the Japanese restaurant was absolutely superb the staff were super helpful and friendly the room was luxurious modern and clean thoroughly enjoyed the whole atmosphere and set up great location great value for money

Plusy: Superb breakfast. Wonderful staff. First went to this hotel in 1964! The suite was beautiful. Loved it.

Minusy: Not told beforehand that the bar and restaurant would be closed from the beginning of October.

Plusy: Great place to stay with a family. Very close to town and beaches but still feels very private and safe. Staff was very friendly and professional. Will probably come back in the future

Plusy: Wspaniałe miejsce na urlop z dzieciakami - świetny basen dla maluchów z podgrzewaną wodą w zacienionym miejscu. Śniadania co prawda nieco za słabe, jak na 4.gwiazdki (brak świeżych warzyw, mały wybór, ale duży plus za pyszne owoce). Uważam jednak, że warto zdecydować się na hotelowe kolacje, które totalnie nas zaskoczyły - duży wybór, mnóstwo owoców morza, pyszne sałatki, szparagi i plus za makarony i frytki dla dzieci. Warto również wspomnieć o wspaniałej lokalizacji, dosłownie 3 minuty do plaży i 10 min spacerkiem do centrum miejscowości.

Minusy: Pokoje nie przypadły nam do gustu - szpitalny wystrój, aczkolwiek nie można narzekać na czystość lub ich wyposażenie (wszystko jak najbardziej ok). Duży plus za pralkę i suszarkę do ubrań. Do pełni szczęścia brakowało nam jedynie żelazka i deski do prasowania, jako stałego wyposażenia pokoju, ale to drobiazg.

Plusy: It’s a lovely old hotel , but really comfortable , great staff friendly and attentive but not intrusive .

Plusy: Very cozy place with an amazing view from the terrace. It’s just a few steps away from the beach. Excellent breakfast with a wide range of food and view over the seaside. Very friendly stuff. Hotel room was very clean and cozy with a big bathroom. So nothing to add. We definitely come back!

Minusy: It‘s just a minor thing. It was a bit freezy at the bar/sitting area.

Plusy: Totally beautiful hotel, the location is stunning, gorgeous rooms, lovely hotel bar and delicious food, staff are so helpful and friendly, plus it’s dog friendly.

Minusy: The hotel was not what I expected. I’d say it’s more like a two star. Not much luxury. Very crowded. A bit run down and no service. The area was not pretty either, but the beach seemed okay. Say further north if you can. We left early even though we already paid. We found a much better location and place.

Plusy: Beautiful spot to enjoy the stunning Costa Brava. We will be back, soon!

Plusy: Przemiły personel. Bardzo smaczne śniadania, Basen, gry planszowe., bilard. Bliziutko plaży, głównego deotaku. Atmosfera trochę retro - ale to zdecydowanie plus. Żałuję, że tak byłam tam tak krótko.

Plusy: Central location to shops and short walk to beach through the town was pleasant. Staff very helpful & friendly, breakfast was brilliant and a nice lie in as buffet served till 11am!! Very clean rooms and double patio doors/curtains great as no noise and stayed dark.

Plusy: Dobry hotel jako baza do wypoczynku (plaże) jak i zwiedzania okolicy ( blisko dworca autobusowego i dobre połączenie z lotniskiem w Gironie). Mimo lokalizacji hotelu tuż przy głównej i bardzo hałaśliwej, także w nocy, ulicy miasteczka, w pokoju jest cicho ( szczelne okna i klimatyzacja zapewniają komfort). Dobre śniadania. Polecam ten obiekt.

Plusy: I booked, I knew were it was, so no complains, breakfast was top, it was very clean, the little pool was super, I will go back :) very friendly staff !

Plusy: Although we didn't have sea facing view, our room was very spacious, light and clean on the top floor with a dual aspect balcony. Check in was easy and staff friendly and multilingual. The whole hotel was clean and light with an excellent bar and buffet restaurant onsight, looking over the seafront. We ate outside at the tables, with our dog (who was welcomed without issue or fuss). We had an incredible thunderstorm all night and the power was cut off. In the morning the town was flooded. Staff were helpful and not overly flustered, so all was ok.

Plusy: This hotel was cute, comfortable and extremely affordable. In addition, you get a decent breakfast with healthy options. I definitely got way more than what I paid. I would stay here again.

Plusy: Polecam ten hotel osobom, które chcą odpocząć i naładować energię. Hotel jest bardzo przyjemny, obsługa bardzo miła, śniadania bardzo dobre. W cenie 10 euro jest parking za dobę. Blisko do plaży (około 200m). Blisko są restauracje i bary, nie przeszkadzają one w odpoczynku za to zawsze można iść coś zjeść. W hotelu również znajduje się restauracja w której polecam zjeść, ponieważ mają smaczne menu. Bardzo życzliwa obsługa, uśmiechnięta, która wraz z prostym wystrojem na terenie ośrodka tworzy bardzo przyjemny klimat.

Plusy: Really nice decorated hotel. Details, colours, all very thoughtfull done. Smart, multilingual, very helpfull frontdesk staff, bed and bath comfortable.

Minusy: First floor room noisy, staff helped me moving to groundfloor.

Plusy: Great hotel located on the quiet street. Stuff is super friendly and ready to help. Hotel provides with free sun umbrellas gives bicycles for rent. Has nice restaurant with fair prices.

Plusy: Fantastic location, 100m from the beach and 200m from the city center but in a very quiet neighborhood. Very friendly staff, always smiling and willing to help you. I felt very comfortable about my car that was parked in the protected and covered parking and about my bikes in the locked bike room. Breakfast was very varied, extensive and healthy. Local restaurant is recommended. We look forward to come back !

Minusy: Drzwi do łazienki nie zapewniające pełnej prywatności, za mało wieszaków w łazience. Śniadanie, jak na 3* było w porządku, ale nic więcej. W restauracji lekkie problemy z komunikacją w języku angielskim. Drogie napoje do posiłków. Wyżywienie obiady i kolacje w standardzie 3* można się najeść.

Plusy: Bardzo dobrze położony hotel,tuż przy morzu. Bardzo dobre śniadania z dużym wyborem potraw i dobrą kawą . obiady i kolacje z dużym wyborem dań i praktycznie wszystko smaczne. Każdy może znaleźć coś dla siebie. podczas naszej ponad trzymiesięcznej podróży po Hiszpanii i Portugalii zatrzymywaliśmy się w ponad 20 hotelach cztero- i pięciogwiazdkowych i ze zdziwieniem musimy przyznać,że kuchnia w tym hotelu była najlepsza. Poza tym hotel wyróżnia się wyjątkową przyjazną niewymuszoną atmosferą. Autentyczne szczere życzliwe podejście od zameldowania do wymeldowania plus piękna pogoda i piękne widoki ze ścieżki widokowej wzdłuż wybrzeża Costa Brava to recepta na udany wypoczynek.

Minusy: Pewną niewielką niedogodnością była odległość hotelowego parkingu (około 150m od hotelu).

Plusy: Nice Hiking coastal routes... to the left and right of the hotel. I was close by to a nice supermarket.

Minusy: No transport available is travelling solo.. One would need to hire a private car. Arrived at S Agaro.. wheeling my suitcase at nighttime for over an hour. Restaurant staff not smiley .. my dessert costed 7.50eur approx but bill also showed 45.50eur vat. The Staff thought I should pay.. terrible time .. I had to fight my corner to highlight the VAt amount is a Typo. Breakfast food displays.. restricted... no porridge...pancakes.. not the usual spread that one would expect. Checkout - day- The money before arriving left my account. But lady advised me that the money will be returned to you and if you can pop your card in and pay.. When walking way from Hotel.. payment was taken twice from my accounts. so after several calls with hotel - 5 days later the money was refunded. Not an ideal situation if other Guests if money is tight. Checkout day- no transport available... the Lady behind the counter kept on laughing at this. I was panicking how will I get home, get my flight etc. The Lady wasn't too pronto about finding other plans. I had to beg for a hotel worker to drive me to the next town for me to catch a bus to the Girona City ...then to airport. When I got home I regretted going on this trip and my 1st and last day were very stressful. No apologies from the hotel at all. I did email booking.com about this but no reply.
