Plusy: Bardzo nam się podobało w Dom Fernando i z ręką na sercu mogę go polecić innym. Pokój był duży, jasny, czysty, nowocześnie umeblowany z duża łazienką i z widokiem na basen. Bardzo wygodne łóżko i 100 kanałów TV, jeśli ktoś lubi oglądać telewizję. Staff miły i pomocny, dużo darmowych miejsc parkingowych, a położenie hotelu wg mnie idealne: poza murami miasta ale zaledwie 5 min pieszo na starówkę. Nie trzeba więc kluczyć autem po wąskich i stromych uliczkach Evory martwiąc się o wolne miejsce parkingowe. Hotel jest nowy, z przestronny hallem, barem, restauracją i miejscem wypoczynkowym. Szkoda, że było za zimno na kąpiel bo basen jest duży. Za śniadanie musieliśmy dopłacić po 5.50 euro od osoby ale było warto, bo bardzo urozmaicone i dobre. Będąc ponownie w Evorze z pewnością wybrałabym ten sam hotel :)

Plusy: On initial arrival it looks a bit out of the way by a disused piece of waste land. But in fact the wasteland is a large car park. Lovely hotel, friendly staff and close to the town centre. I would come back again.
Minusy: Shame I had a North facing (pool) room. Always cold despite the temp outside. The south facing (pool) rooms get the sun all day whereas my balcony was in constant shade.

Plusy: We found the hotel really e xcellent above our expectations, the staff were really friendly and helpful the rooms were clean and tidy and room service ie cleaning and fresh towels excellent. The buffet lunch and dinner were of a very high quality and well worth the €11.90 for as many courses as many times as you wished, that price did not include drinks but drinks were at normal Portuguese prices to be found anywhere.
Minusy: My only criticism is that the lift would not accom@cate my wife’s wheel chair without the foot rests being folded back, it is only a transit wheelchair with small wheels

Plusy: We spent two nights here while exploring Evora. It is a bit of a walk into the main tourist area of town, but only about 20 minutes. Breakfast was very good! We also took advantage of the spa and each booked a relaxing massage.

Plusy: The breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly.
Minusy: Unfortunately the pool was overcrowded and someone took my flip-flops. When asked at the pool entrance for something to replace them (disposable flip-flops), they didn't have any. Had to go all the way to my room with my boyfriend's flip-flops to get disposable ones.

Plusy: The staff was friendly and professional. Location was excellent- very quiet but only 2 km from the city centre. Great to wake up and hear birds instead of traffic. Great breakfast with several hot items. Room and bathroom were both clean. Plenty of parking and free.
Minusy: It just needs to be refurbished with newer furniture. It feels dated, but it was still comfortable. Although, because of its age it is more of a 3-star hotel than a 4-star. The pillows were too soft for my taste. Instead of two soft ones, they could have a soft and a harder one. TV was tiny for today’s standards.

Minusy: House keeping did not tidy up the room. Cot had a hole in it so the baby could pass through so he had to sleep in our bed. Was expecting a country view but only managed to look at the neighbors house side wall. The interior pool is nice but the whole logistics of having to use lockerooms as there is no direct connection from the lodges to the main house makes it very unpractical when it is supposed to be family friendly.

Plusy: The location was excellent. Close to all amenities and tourist attractions. The space was large enough for our family to sleep and my kids to play during downtime. The breakfast (extra) was excellent and convenient as well as the anytime coffee, tea and port wine. The staff were lovely, accommodating and helpful. This place really looked after the little things which was greatly appreciated.
Minusy: No parking at the hotel but we were directed to free parking nearby.

Minusy: There was leakage on the pipe connecting the water tank and toilet bowl resulting in water spilled on the bathroom floor. This was most disappointing. I wish the room to be brighter. Having light from the ceiling is preferred. I understand it is due design, hence, dimmer lighting in the room. Due to being environmentally friendly, the water comes out like water jet but this will cause splashing water around. The heat from the air conditioner is not too strong. Maybe this is due to malfunctioning of the flap.

However, when I arrived, I was offered the option to have breakfast with 5 euros per day. They offered a great collection of breakfast items. Considering the limited options in the city, I would strongly recommend this.
Minusy: The room was not very quiet because it's facing a street where there are bars and restaurants, but that will not stop me from going here again.

Pokoje bardzo duże i przestronne, w tym duża łazienka z oddzielnym prysznicem i wanną. Dobrej jakości kosmetyki i inne dodatki. Śniadania przepyszne, dużo lokalnych produktów, wszystko najwyższej jakości. Możliwość zjedzenia lunchu przy basenie. Miła i pomocna obsługa. Do centrum starego miasta dosłownie 5 minut piechotą. Bardzo godny polecenia.
Minusy: Wolę świeże powietrze od klimatyzacji - w nocy, przy otwartym balkonie odgłosy ruchu ulicznego i zewnętrznych urządzeń hotelowych, pozostawała w takim wypadku klimatyzacja.

Minusy: Very difficult to get to. We had quite a bit of luggage and we did drive up to the door, but the paid parking is on the street up to two blocks away. We never moved the car because you may not get parking again even though you have paid for the parking. The elevator is not working and has not worked since sometime in December! Now that is horrible! Not sure that they are doing anything to fix it. Also the name of the hotel has changed to Stay Hotel and we booked it under the old name and we were not notified of the name change!

Minusy: Bardzo powolny proces zameldowania. Słabo działała nam karta do pokoju - po zgłoszeniu tego obsłudze jeszcze raz wgrano na nią kod, ale nie rozwiązało to problemu. W hotelu brakuje wspólnego miejsca do odpoczynku - stoliki i krzesła choć ładne, nie spełniają tej funkcji.

Plusy: Beautiful setting and historical building, just in the center of Évora. Very polite, friendly and smiling employees! The room was clean and fresh; there were two welcome glasses of liqueur (poejo liqueur) and homemade butter biscuits - a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious. Bar was nice and cozy (congratulations to the bar tender - my gin was magnificient). Check-in and check-out straightforward.
Minusy: The room (the old cell of a monk, as the hotel is built on what used to be a convent) was rather small, but functional. Room door had very little insonorization. No magnifying mirror. No lift (although there's only one flight of stairs and an employee helped us with our luggage when we checked-in). The two dinner experiences we had were disappointing (the service was nice, but the dishes lacked the quality and creativity of what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel); the wine card was not bad. Parking space is very small, but we left our car key to the reception and they took good care of it. Bar could benefit from a larger selection of cocktails.

Plusy: Because there was a mix up with our room and it was given to another couple the hostess gave us the one bedroom apartment which was big and very nice. We had everything we needed. Property was very lovely and everything was was super clean. It was more than we had expected. It was very easy to get into the center. Only 5 minutes away by car.
Minusy: The only downside was that it rained and we weren't able to have breakfast outside on the terrace . Breakfast was okay. It was simple. Not that many things to choose from. Also the mattress was a bit hard for me.

Plusy: It is a really beautiful place, it has a nice pool, good breakfast, fresh fruits and a sweat hostes. We also loved the three big dogs that seem to have one goal in life: being petted by random strangers.
Minusy: The location is close to the city but the last part is a dirt road with a few steap holes in it. Also, it was hard to get the room completely lighted so you could read in the evening (a lot of loose standing bedlights).

Plusy: The Espada is a must stay-in near Evora. The site is wonderful and well maintained. The hosts are lovely and made everything for us to enjoy your stay. The pool is nice and clean, the bedrooms are nice as well. The breakfast is simple but with natural and good products, and the quantity is enough for any eaters! We highly recommend it if you wanna have a calm and peaceful retreat near Evora. You’ll need the car to get to the city!
