Plusy: Location, steps away from the centre of Braga. Close to all amenities.

Plusy: Professionalism by all staff attention to detail and thoughtful touches.

Plusy: I couldn't be happier with staying at Pateo de Janes! The location is perfect, right in the centre of the city but at the same time really quiet. The room we stayed in was spacious and decorated with taste, we even had a little balcony which added to the charm of the property. Good continental breakfast. Free wifi working with a good speed. We had access to the washing machine and the iron, which was really handy as we travelled across Portugal for a number of days before coming over to Braga. Great value for money. I would highly recommend Pateo - it is absolutely lovely.

Minusy: Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Plusy: We loved the lady with the short hair, she was very helpful and kind, but there was a different girl when we were checking out and she didn't say a word , not even a "good day" , which was a bummer after getting used to the other kind person. We loved the idea of chocolate as a welcome and the room was very comfortable! The kitchen was small but cosy. Location was amazingly close to everything. Everything except the checking out part was perfect!

Minusy: The checking out part because of the staff there. Because even though everything went perfect, the last minutes count.

Plusy: From the pre arrival communication, to check-in, to the quality of all the facilities and its superb location I can’t imagine that Páteo de Janes could be bettered.

Plusy: A spacious, clean and modern room, in the quiet centre of Braga old town. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff - thanks Augusta, Nice convenient breakfast - help yourself convenience.

Minusy: This is a converted heritage building, so unfortunately people moving around in the room above are audible as the floor creaks a bit. Considering what a lovely evening we had enjoyed in the old town, this was not really an issue.

Plusy: Everything. Location, comfort, breakfast and the Host was fantastic. Highly recommend

Plusy: Excellent room, good location and attentive staff who went out of there way to help.

Plusy: The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They have accommodated all of our request made prior to arrival as well as upgrading our room due to my partners birthday. However the gentleman working in the restaurant in the morning could have bit less attidue and smile instead of rolling his eyes at guests, but I suppose there is always one. The bedroom was of a good size, and very clean, so was the bathroom. It had all the toiletries, as well as slippers and bath robe and the shower was amazing. There are complimentary tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a mini bar which was a plus (extra charges apply for the mini bar). WiFi is also free and of a good speed. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to leave it in the morning. ;) The breakfast also was very good, with plenty of choice both sweet and savoury, as well as freshly squizzed juices and good quality coffee. Amazing location with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars just round the corner. You just can't get any more central! We would definitely go back when visiting Braga next time and recommend it too all looking for a comfortable town center accommodation. Yet again massive thank you to the amazing reception team.

Minusy: It's a town center location with a church close by, the bells often woke us up, but obviously this can't be helped. There's nothing negative I can say about the hotel itself, as we had a really enjoyable stay.

Plusy: All round a superb hotel loved every minute Joao and Vanessa on front desk were great to be around felt like old freinds

Minusy: Booked twin room only to be told 1 week before that only double bed available...extra single bed added but no space in room.

Plusy: Location, really in city center. A lot of nice restaurants in the surrounding area. Nice rooms and bathroom.

Minusy: Breakfast staff was not so friendly. Food refill could be better.

Plusy: Great location, comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. Small hotel with a calm atmosphere.

Plusy: Clean central and quiet

Minusy: Worst coffee I had in Portugal. Bar not open on Sunday and Monday evenings so nowhere to go except my room

Plusy: We received a very warm welcome and the staff spent time marking a local map with highlights. They could not have been more helpful and we enjoyed a light meal in their restaurant one night. A great location in the historic centre.

Plusy: Fantastic little design hotel right in the middle of Braga. The room was a dream and we loved the breakfast.

Minusy: Nothing to fault.

Minusy: Problem z parkingiem, mieliśmy szczęście, ze udało nam się znaleźć miejsce obok hotelu na ulicy, aczkolwiek hotel oferuje zniżki na prywatne parkingi w okolicy

Plusy: Znakomity klimat i lokalizacja wyśmienita.

Minusy: Przez 4 doby nie zmieniono ręczników!

Plusy: It’s fair enough comparing with we have paid.

Minusy: the breakfast could has fresh coffee instead instant coffee, only that.

Plusy: Extremely friendly staff. Very central and good value for money. Competent breakfast.

Plusy: Best value for money. Excellent location and facilities.

Plusy: Lovely hotel in a pretty park next to a Unesco site. Alas, the weather was so rainy and foggy we could hardly see the church and the stairs not at all!

Minusy: A little far from fhe center of Braga.

Plusy: The view is amazing, the hotel nicely renovated

Minusy: The shower tempreture fluctuate from freezing to boiling, most of the hotel facilities closed in low season, they send you to the hotel near by for spa ect. ( Very crowded, dirty) no food options in the bar

Plusy: Very nicely designed Hotel.

Minusy: No possibilities of open Restaurants nearby or Hotel room service , bar closed, we had to drive down the bendy road at night to find a proper restaurant for dinner (2 nights!!)

Plusy: This is located almost higher than the famous church. We got a room that offered a fantastic view towards the church, it was great. The room looked modern, good, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had many things and we liked the soft cheeses. We had very quick access to the monument and the elevator, which was a plus since at the bottom there was a queue. The check in and check out were effective. Very good price for what we got.

Minusy: Nothing significant to complain about at this place and location. A bit complicated with privacy at the bathroom when showering. The acces during night, fog and rain was not straightforward. The ventilation system dries the air, while no window for restroom creates humidity.

Plusy: The hotel is very well located. The rooms are clean and cozy.

Minusy: Only instant coffee was offered for breakfast.

Plusy: The location is out of the town, so if you want to walk into town then this possibly isn’t the best location but the views from here are fantastic and it’s a lovely setting for a short trip (if you don’t mind a €5 taxi ride into the town)

Minusy: Not much to be negative about, only possible complaint could be the breakfast choice was limited but the value for money this couldn’t be argued with.

Plusy: Breakfast was excellent with pleasant service. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the setting and the rich history. We spent several hours going through the site and learning the history.

Minusy: There wasn't a lot of space in the bathroom to spread out our toiletries.

Plusy: Everything was amazing. The breakfast was so good. Cold cuts, croissants, Pasteis, lots of good food. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Minusy: The lock in the doors to the rooms was a bit too tricky. And the black darkly lit stairway is an accident waiting to happen. Lol. Otherwise, this place is amazing. I want to live there. The shower was great. The bed was comfy. I woke up in a monastery!!! The chapel is gorgeous. The grounds are spectacular. The fact that they only have 9 rooms means you often have the place to yourself. It’s unreal.

Plusy: The place is kind of magical

Plusy: Monastery beautiful very huge and you receive a free entrance ticket... The hotel itself is well transforned into a little silence modern designed place. If you have the chance stay more than one night! The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Minusy: Some little things were broken, didn’t work properly... Maybe the staff has to explain a little more when you checkin.

Plusy: Clean and quiet

Plusy: dobre śniadanie, świetna lokalizacja...... dosyć trudno o parking, ale obiekt ma fajne rozwiązanie przynajmniej na godziny 20.00-9.00

Minusy: Hotel was quite noisy at night. You could hear people in next room quite clearly. Our room felt damp all the time. One day it was 4 o'clock when the maid came to clean the room.

Plusy: We stopped here for one night because we didn't want long drive down to Portugal- it is amazing chilled place- host is very friendly- house is perfect- definitely recommend! 4 cats,2 dogs, fishes. We got fresh eggs from the host and also mandarines from the tree- so attentive. thank you!!!

Plusy: Wonderful villa surrounded by the countryside. The room was very nice and the private bathroom was awsome. Also the kitchen and the common areas were perfectly cleaned and spacious. Definetly worth it!

Plusy: Obiekt znajduje się poza centrum, około 2 km od dworca kolejowego (25-30 min spacerem), tani przejazd uberem (ok 3 euro). Bardzo sympatyczny gospodarz. Opis zgodny ze stanem rzeczywistym. Doskonały dla rodzin i osób ceniących spokój oraz miłośników zwierząt ( 3 koty, 2 psy, mnóstwo rybek). Dobrze wyposażone pokoje, salon i kuchnia do wspólnej dyspozycji

Plusy: Pokoj i lazienka bardzo przestronne - to zdecydowany plus. Obsluga bardzo ! mila i pomocna!

Minusy: Brak lodowki w pokoju, sniadania mogly by byc urozmaicone.

Plusy: Staff friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed.

Minusy: Nothing really disappointed. Shower wasn't great - it would not stay in its place.

Plusy: Spacious room, several tv channels with options in English, good shower, small balcony. Friendly staff. It is quiet, except for the jet lag, I had a good sleep night.

Minusy: Instead of a vending machine for water, which requires coins, it would be nice to have a better selection of snacks and mainly easily accessible water.

Plusy: Bardzo czysto i schludnie, personel bardzo miły.

Minusy: Słabe śniadanie, większość produktów słodzona, w tym jogurt naturalny i bułeczki, na ciepło można zjeść grzankę albo płatki na mleku. Są owoce, ale generalnie śniadanie przeciętne i przy kilkudniowym pobycie jest ciężko.

Plusy: Great location to access the centre and surrounding sights. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy rooms and facilities. Would definitely stay again

Minusy: No iron!

Plusy: Pani z recepcji była miła i bardzo pomocna, udzieliła nam wszelkich niezbędnych informacji dotyczących hotelu i zwiedzania miasta. Pokój był porządku. Udało nam się zaparkować na parkingu publicznym przed hotelem, nie ma tam zbyt wielu miejsc, ale jakoś się udało. Sama lokalizacja hotelu całkiem dobra - do centrum historycznego można dojść pieszo w około 15 minut.

Minusy: Dosyć ubogie śniadania - dość standardowy wybór jak to w pensjonatach/hotelach portugalskich,

Plusy: The very friendly staff. They love the city and feel so happy to explain it to guests.

Minusy: The distance from the center but that was not a problem.

Plusy: Bed very comfortable.

Plusy: Excellent location for the Altice Forum in Braga (we had tickets for a concert there) and very good value for money. Really helpful and friendly staff as well.

Minusy: I would have liked a robe to use in the bathroom, and perhaps tea and coffee in the room.

Minusy: Parking is small awfull, and the property doesn't take care of any car blocking the exit. In my case, for more than 20h, "hopefully just 4h" of delay from my schedule waiting for the owner of another car. The property didn't do anything at all. At least, anything I can verify

Plusy: Ideal location, 5 min walk from bus depot and 5 min to central square in the other direction. Cheap and cheerful hotel. Friendly staff who spoke English.

Minusy: Breakfast was minimal

Plusy: Smaczne i urozmaicone śniadanie, wydawane już od godziny 6:30. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko dworca autobusowego i niedaleko dworca kolejowego. Obok stare miasto z wszystkimi lokalnymi atrakcjami (warto odwiedzić lokal z miejscowymi piwami craftowymi). Pokój jak na IBIS wyjątkowo duży.

Plusy: Hotel w centrum, posiadal balkon, a nawet o tym nie wiedzialam. ladny widok na miasto. Pokoj bardzo ladny i przestronny. Wszedzie blisko.

Minusy: W dni handlowe slychac halas, bo obok rozkladaja sie sprzedawcy. Nie bylo parkingu. Musielismy placic.

Plusy: Location, breakfast 6-12

Minusy: Everything good

Plusy: Parking space under the hotel for 6€/day. As always, you know what you get in an Ibis hotel. For me that is perfect!

Minusy: Staff was not very enthusiastic

Minusy: Problemy z parkingiem w hotelu ale proponują miejski za cenę Ibisowskiego-mają podpisaną umowę- wystarczy podbić pieczątkę w hotelu i pokazać na kasach parlingu

Plusy: Fajny hotel, bardzo blisko zabytkowego centrum. Obsługa miła i pomocna, nie było żadnych problemów z formalnościami. Pokój czysty, cichy, z klimatyzacją i balkonem.

Minusy: Niewygodny zjazd do parkingu podziemnego (wyjątkowo wąsko i stromo).

Plusy: Duży przestronne pokój, wygodne łóżko, śniadanko dobre (brak wersji na ciepło np jajecznicy) , urozmaicone :-))) bardzo blisko centrum, hotel może nie pierwszej nowości ale pokoje są naprawdę w porządku.

Minusy: W sumie w porządku, wjazd/wyjazd z parkingu dostarcza niesamowitych przeżyć :-) stromo i wąsko :-)
