Sonesta Hotel Cartagena

Nothing at all!

I got in a room which had many ants on the tables - then after a walk in the old city I went back for a nap. I wipe up from the noise of water dropping. I went to the bathroom and there was water everywhere coming from the toilet. It took the manager 30 minutes to come and instead of giving me another room he insisted they hotel was fully booked. I had to shout at him in order to move. Eventually I did move (1.5 later) in a worst room with spider webs in the bathroom and the curtains not working so all of the sun was coming in (35 celcium at the time). The pictures on booking are definitely not how the hotel looks or actually is. The employers of the hotel were rude and did not speak basic English - slow service as well! U fortunately I don’t have many photos to share

Nice lounge area and well functioning taxi service.

Only one pool available (the other one under renovation) and with only 1 hour of sunlight per day. Poor room service. Unclarity on what's for free in the room (we got overcharged for snacks placed outside the minibar).
