Hotele: Strasburg

Plusy: Friendly, professional staff, very clean room & bathroom, Room & bathroom were tight but this is quite typical. Excellent location in center of old part of city near pedestrian streets. Public parking nearby was not overpriced.

Minusy: Shabby carpet in room.

Plusy: Great place in an outstanding location in a delightful small city!

Minusy: Having to leave to go back to work.

Plusy: Great staff and service, fantastic location

Minusy: The breakfast was nice, but the choise was limited.

Plusy: Recently renewed the hotel looks nice and the room very nice. Very well located and good breakfast.

Minusy: There is a problem with the water system so the water temperature goes quickly from hot to cold and from cold to very hot. There is also an issue with the lightning system that has a movement detector so during night lights it may go on. This was very annoying.

Minusy: After telling us we could not park at hotel lot in email when we made reservation we were told a couple of weeks before our trip we would have to park in kleber garage but once we arrived, we drove into that parking garage and then we weren't allowed to park there. Took more than an hour to straighten it out. After all of that, we were told we could park in hotel parking lot after all.

Plusy: The location is amazing

Minusy: The furniture is quit old ,, the key is heavy , it was not comfortable to take with me in my bag everywhere

Plusy: The location was fantastic.

Minusy: Our floor seemed to be under construction and the carpets on the stairs were quite worn. Not what you expect in a hotel of the caliber.

Minusy: brak jasnego oświetlenia w pokoju, brak parkingu hotelowego a głównie brak możliwości wypakowania bagażu przy hotelu, co wiązało się z przenoszeniem go przez centrum miasta.

Plusy: Central position, ideal for walking to the main tourist attractions an restaurants. Close to the shops. Very nicely decorated in the main public areas and the staircase has beautiful glass motifs on each floor along with very attractive ceilings and furnishings on each lobby. The lounge is very nicely set out and we were impressed by the decor throughout. Nice touch is the loan of the hotel umbrellas by the main door if it's raining.

Minusy: Very difficult to locate as it is on a non- motorised traffic street and the satnav in our nearly new Volvo XC60 was totally useless once we reached the centre of the city. By luck we parked in the correct underground carpark accessed by the tram interchange at the Klber Square And a short walk to the hotel thereafter. The hotel will provide you with a discount ticket for the underground but we were not certain that it worked for us on leaving yesterday morning so remember to ask reception for the discount ticket. We understood that the hotel has its own carparking facility and when we asked about this we were told that it had to be booked at the same time as the room.

Plusy: Great location and convenience of parking, confortable bed, good breakfast.

Plusy: Location- straightforward to find and very close to main square. Very quiet, although that may have been due to the closed roads for Xmas market.

Minusy: Pokey reception area room decor was poor, the whole hotel felt very tired. Bathroom was similarly a bit grim. Staff in the main failed to acknowledge us as we came and went. Probably the worst Mercure we have stayed in and, even allowing for rip off prices for the Christmas markets time of year, represented very poor value at nearly £200/night.

Plusy: Excellent location and pretty view.

Minusy: The carpets in the room and shower floor were old, worn, filthy. You should replace them, today!

Plusy: The design of the room is attractive, the room itself is comfortable. The breakfast is rich, but... The hotel is very near to the city center, where we can find very good restaurants, pubs. Even the farest famous part, La Petite France is not farer than 10-15 minutes by walk.

Minusy: I asked the hotel in advance about parking opportunities. The answer in fact was useless, because a., two of the proposed underground parking were closed due to the Marché Noel, b., one of the underground parking outside the city was closed on Sunday. Even on the third day finally we've found places in the underground parking of the hotel, but just because I've asked how can we enter, the staff never offered any solution. We were not informed in advance about the cordon - entry to the city center was possible only with permission, but of course we didn't have it first. 800 m far was the closest parking (big luggages etc.)... We've got the permit from the hotel only after the second night, when I've asked them, how can we enter. The staff was not helpful, anticipative at all, they simply didn't give us tips, ideas, solutions. However, even the room is extra expensive, when we arrived we didn't have liquid soap in the bathroom (flacon was dry), and it was not possible to close the door of the bathroom (after complaining the problems were solved). Even the breakfast was very rich, the selection of the foods were good, but once we didn't find baguette, once orange juice, once filtered coffée, once ham, once fruit salad etc. Maybe the staff was overloaded, but for sure, that everytime something was missing, and building the inventory up was slow.

Plusy: Pillows and comforter were just right for me. I don't like them in some European hotels. Very comfortable!

Minusy: Mikroskopijna łazienka.Konczace się produkty podczas śniadania.

Minusy: Bathroom much too small, skimped on towels, little place to hang clothes, and so felt likr room was overpriced. Comfortable bed, though, and good location. Good for 1 or 2 nights max.

Plusy: Śniadania pyszne, lokalizacja super, do centrum 10 minut spacerkiem, obsługa miła i pomocna, wszystko jak najbardziej w porządku.

Plusy: Price not really match the room size and service level. Parking place limited compared to hotel size, we have been forced to park outside in public parking

Plusy: The location was excellent, close to la Petite France.

Plusy: Very friendly personnel. Good location. Comfortable beds.

Minusy: The room was really small. The bathroom too. It was too expensive for its facilities and the side of the room.

Minusy: Breakfast was ok; I didn’t like how they started closing down breakfast before the announced cut off time. It felt rude and unpleasant . Tiny rooms, not quite comfortable
