I like the place and services ☆☆☆☆
The location is great.
The bed was old and uncomfortable, the duvet was not warm enough and the blankets smelled badly. You don't have a key to the apartment (only your room) so the staff always has to open the door to let you in. There was no heater in the room and since the electricity went out as well - I was freezing.
Disappointing

Staff were nice (even when we buzzed in at 1am). Location is great, near bars, metro and train station. Price is affordable.
Old building, you have to ring bell 24/7 to get in the room. Room is outdated, no AC, shower head had to be handheld. Hostel right outside the room making very loud noise 10pm-2am and 8-10am. Along with a not-so-comfortable bed and pillow and we got a very bad sleep. Staff is very nice, but don't know much English. Payment is cash only on arrival which is another downside.

The location is fantastic, just next to Plaza de los Restauradores. The people in charge were very nice and friendly, and they open the door no matter what hour it is during the night (because the main door is closed during night)
We have booked a room with private bathroom and when we arrived, after asking about the toilet, we were told that there had been a mistake and we had to share it for the first night. Later, we were changed to a bigger room with our own bathroom, that was great. There was no heating system, so the room was pretty cold during day and night. The walls are like paper, you can hear everything from another bedrooms as well as the noises from the corridor. Sometimes you can even hear the noise from the tranvia.

Superb
Very nice location, close to the city center and the metro stop, but at the same time in a more quiet area. Plenty of shops, bars cafes near by. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Very nice reception lady.
Pretty basic and kinda outdated, but however clean and good value for money.
I enjoyed my stay at Perola da Baixa. With a comfortable bed, a bathroom of my own and WiFi I got everything I need. You should be prepared to climb stairs, as there is no elevator. Not everyone in this place speaks English, but a smartphone translator will help. Anyone complaining about this place should consider how insanely cheap it is. If you want a presidential suite, then you would have to pay for it, there are plenty of hotels of any kind in Lisbon.
Good
very very basic, uncomfterable bed. very small.
The staff were friendly and helpful. the room and bathroom were comfortable and clean.
the bathroom in the room is fairly small. with the windows open there is a fair bit of outside noise to deal with and with the windows closed the room becomes a little stuffy. a fan would be nice. The...
Every thing in this property was nice except lacking brackfast and costing little much.

Expect a bit of noise from people that are staying there as well and do not care what time it is when they come or go.
Staff was very frendly during our stay
Not clean, view from the window of a wall
The staff was very welcoming and delightful. The pension was centrally located, a steep climb up from the Avenida da Liberdade. The room and the bathroom were clean albeit a bit outdated. There were ...
The pension is located on the 3rd floor, and if you have luggage to carry, it my be a hardship. The room itself was a bit outdated, and there was no heating, but the three blankets in the bed kept me ...
The location is great. Close to everything you would like to see, just 2 minutes from the metro station. I was pleased for the money I payed.
The water was hard to sync between hot and cold. The walls are thick, only during the evening it could be a problem. We weren't bothered by the noise.
Excellent location, just a hundred meters from Restauradores subway. If you arrive by subway, go to the city elevator on the Da Gloria street (another attraction). From there about 30 meters up and ...
Blankets could have been better/fresher. Although we used them only once, because of the weather, it is еру only part of the room amenities which we did not like.
amazing location, very close to metro station, center, restaurants and shops! the shower was powerful and room was clean and big
bed could be more comfortable, the window of our room didnt lock, , thin walls, internet a bit slow!
Great people, great customer service, people always ready to help you out, and a great location, just steps from main attraction but still on a quiet street.
Good location
Terrible hotel. 1. They are don't accept credit cards so we were forced to pay by cash 2. Disgusting smell in the room 3. Very cold 4. Problems with hot water 5. Internet works very bad 6. ...
Perola was very easy to find and in a good location close to restaurants and sights Praca do Comercio and Commerce square - this was good as we were there for only one night. Room was clean and staff ...
Walls are very thin so could hear people in next room - this included an argument at 2am!
Very cold and humid in room
The location was fine, near the subway and funicular.
The bed was small and uncomfortable. The room was very cold (visit in december), without any heating. We had to rent the electric heater for 3€ / night. The landlady doesn't speak english, ...
Staff
When i arrive at 1 pm the lady said that the room is still occupied and will be available soonest at 3 pm. But at check in instructions was said that check out is at 12 pm and check in at 2 pm
Clean and tidy. They were make up our room every day and left fresh towels. Located in a quiet street but very close to the center and some popular tourist locations. Not so modern furnitures and ...
The building was old and the corridors seemed a bit creepy for the first time. The Wifi was bad.
In centre
Very small room. Only for sleep one night
Very clean
Not worth it for the price I paid
The location for this price was great. It was a direct city center at the Restauradores Square. The room we had was very clean and the stuff was nice. The toilet was not in the appartment but at least...
It would be better if the toilet was inside the appartment but as I mentioned in pros it was not a problem in the end. The second thing I would change is a key to the guest house. We had to ring the ...
Perfect localization, near to metro station and old town, walking distance to seaside. Very polite staff. Room was small but clean everything was ok! I recommend this place
You are involved in the city life like collecting garbage (in the middle of the night:)
The location - walking distance from all that matters in Lisbon, and there is a lot of it.
It would have been very quiet if they didn't have to quarel from time to time. The Level of spoken English was OK-ish. The do not give you a key for the main gate, so People have to ring the bell...
It was close to the city center.
The bed is totally horrible. We did not manage to rest properly.
We had a room with private bathroom and TV set, and the price for that was a bit more than 20 euros per person per night. Wi-fi was great. The woman at the reception desk was really nice and friendly...
It was noisy in the street, I could hear everything even with closed windows. The view from the room is kinda boring, but actually, it doesn't matter. There is no elevator.

The best location, just around the corner for the Elevador da Gloria
Very cold, no heating. Could be really nice during summer, but we do not recommend it during winter.
The building and the room felt me like an actress of an old movie set in Lisbon or an inspired writer. Personnel with smiley face, rooms so clean and beautiful, area so safe and central. Happy ...
Located right in the center of Lusbon, perfect location for going out in the evening. Staff speaks little english, but very friendly.
Some rooms are really small, number 3 for example.
location is good. price is fine . good to stay for short visits.
small rooms, the toilets were shared. the walls were so thin that you could hear everything in next room.
Walking distance to Lisbon City Center
Two flights of long stairs.
Characterful building with everything we wanted for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location very central and close to the Metro. Great restaurant Lusitania just a few metres ...
Nothing to add.

Location is good for Lisboa newbies with not so much time to walk around

The hostel is good for people, who arent very fussy and want to spend the whole day in the city. The location is perfect - 5 minutes walk from metro station and 10 minutes from Rua Augusta. You can get on foot to almost every interesting site in Lisboa, including Belem district, which is ca. 8 km away. There's a supermarket, Subway and many restaurants nearby. We also didn't have any problems with finding the hostel. The building is old and a bit shabby but rooms are clean and fresh towels are provided daily. Inside the room is a shower and a sink. Toilet is in the hallway and is very comfortable and clean. Staff is helpful although not everyone speaks english and they seemed to be annoyed when we came back at night (you get only a key to your room and have to knock on the door every time you come to the hostel) and because of that the atmosphere was rather unpleasant. There was however no problem with late check in (we arrived around 10-11 pm) and the owners agreed to keep our luggage till the evening on the check out day without any charge.
The main problem is that you dont get your own key to the front door, which is very limiting for guests. You have to knock and wait for the owners to open the door. We felt very uncomfortable with that because we wanted to stroll a bit at night and when we came back the staff was rather upset that they have to get up and open the door, although they claimed it's totally all right for them. There was also language barrier because the maid doesnt speak English but we managed to communicate. Hostel is located on the 3rd floor and there's no lift, climbing those steep stairs may be problematic for elderly/disabled people or people with luggage. The room was rather small and the furniture is outdated but for the price it's all right. Unfortunately there is no kitchen for the guests, I think it would be great if there was a microwave or a kettle.

Lokalizacja
Dobra lokalizacja i miły personel.

Czysta łazienka w pokoju to ogromny plus, bliskość centrum miasta i metra - max 400 metrów. Rewelacja.
Hałas - tuż obok obiektu jeździ zabytkowa, hałaśliwa winda od samego rana do północy. Koło 6-7 rano - hałas śmieciarki (niekoniecznie co dziennie). Dobrze, gdyby była dostępna wspólna kuchnia lub przynajmniej czajnik w pokoju do zagrzania herbaty, sztućce - 2 pary, deska do krojenia, 2 kubki, 2 talerzyki, otwieracz do wina. Wskazana mini lodówka.

Genialna lokalizacja, samo centrum starego miasta. Do wszystkich fajniejszych miejsc można dojść pieszo. Pokój bardzo mały ale z łazienką i wifi.
Jako, że obiekt znajduję się w samym centrum, a w okół jest mnóstwo restauracji, knajpek etc. to w nocy przy otwartym oknie ciężko spać spokojnie.
