Residencial Marés

Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Clean, quiet double room overlooking back street, with balcony table, chairs and morning sun to enjoy free Wifi. Great view from roof terrace.

The hotel has a good location and is quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. the facilities were adequate bearing in mind the tariff. We would stay again if we were in the Tevira area.

Our room was simple but very clean. Comfortable bed, shower good, and we were given the room we looked for as we stayed there before

Reception while pleasant impacts very little on the hotel. They do not seem very interested in their guests as people. Breakfast was very basic, we bought our own muesli, the croissant were not good , but hey! this is a very good value hotel.

On paper, this seemed like an ideal place to stay. Listed as a 3-star establishment, it was on the boardwalk in Tavira, Portugal. We had reserved a double room. Much to our surprise, the double room consisted of 2-cots pushed together. While I do understand that "some" double rooms in Europe consist of 2 twin beds, these cots were extremely uncomfortable.

Good location (in the summer the ferry to the beach right outside the hotel). Breakfast ok in relation to the room price.

Hotel's restaurant caused some noise in the evening (we had a room facing the street).
