Plusy: The location is fabulous and it is a beautiful complex with excellent facilities. The apartment was very clean and spacious with a stunning view. We arrived late and Bruno was still waiting to show us around. We were really taken with the place and they provided our baby with a cot and made him very welcome too. The bistro nedt to the pool is fantastic too. The staff there are some of the best I have ever experienced!

Minusy: There should be an option for double beds. The beds were also very hard and pillows were not too comfortable. Housekeeping was good but the housekeeping office was directly below our apartment and they were very loud from 8.30am onwards. It slightly ruined our relaxing morning cuppa soaking up the glorious view when there were people shouting nearby. This is minor though.

Plusy: The overall place is very clean and efficient lovely staff very helpful and professional

Plusy: + Staff was very kind and helpful in the Reception, the Bistro or the cleaning ladies. + All apartments have really see view. + Nice cliff formations 50meters away +/- You have to walk a bit to the closest beach. But the beaches around are breathtaking. Best to come by rental car and explore them and the region.

Minusy: - The lunch selection of the Bistro is not that great

Plusy: Excellent view and the garden. Sitting in front of fireplace in the evening was so-o-o cozy. Spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped apartment. Welcoming and caring staff. Boardwalk along the cliffs with stunning views. A lot of supermarkets (Intermarche, Aldi, Pingo Doce, Apolonia) within 5-minute drive.

Minusy: It was a bit cold in December, but one can use the air conditioner in heating mode, or light the fireplace (recommended, firewood is provided). There is a heater in the bathroom too.

Plusy: Very smart looking quite unique

Minusy: Tv in English did not work and staff did not fix it, ok if you’re French or German channels everywhere

Plusy: It was such an amazing hotel, delicious food, beautiful views and great location! Would love to go back there!

Minusy: The only negative thing about this hotel I can say is the indoor pool area bit cold and not very luxurious looking. Pretty basic and the water bit cold. Warm Jacuzzi would be nice :)

Plusy: Amazing view, great food and cocktails, amazing skybar, great location for exploring the caves nearby, quite area and friendly staff.

Minusy: We only requested the room to be cleaned once in the 5 nights stayed, put the sign at 9AM and when we returned at 4PM they were just getting started; they didn't clean the floors or change the bed linens. Very noisy rooms, you could hear your next door neighbors. Lots of people were reserving the sunbeds by the pool early morning by placing towels on them and nobody telling them off. Quite uncomfortable pillows.

Plusy: This hotel was amazing and I can't find a bad word to say ! The staff are so friendly and polite including house keeping. The hotel is clean and located right by the beach. The seaview room was worth every penny. The hotel has free parking and only a stones throw from the town. The bathroom was so big and spacious and every little thing had been thought of and provided. I'm hoping next time for an upgrade :) see you again SOON !

Minusy: Drogie i niesmaczne jedzenie w restuaracji przy basenie. Brak darmowej wody w pokojach i na basenie (co powinno być standardem przy takiej cenie). Śniadanie dość przeciętne.

Plusy: Everything was on pointe... I enjoyed my stay there.. definitely will choose this hotel again... thanks for the great experience.

Plusy: The small personal touch. We were there for a birthday with family, when we got back in the evening there was a birthday cake waiting on the table. Well equipped clean and well located. Spa very welcome Monica was adorable.

Plusy: Nice quiet resort with a good beach just a walk away. Has a heated pool inside in case of colder weather. The resort is far from all the city noise and it is perfect for cozy vacation.

Plusy: Lokalizacja świetna chodź dojazd trochę trudny, pokoje wygodne i czyste. Cudowne widoki , miejsce wprost stworzone dla osób lubiących spędzać czas aktywnie. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny mówiący głównie po angielsku , śniadania smaczne chodź monotonne. Brakowało mi kuchni reglionalnej . Mimo tych drobnych minusów serdecznie polecam ten hotel.

Plusy: Excellent stay. Room was spacious and immaculate. Facilities were superb.

Plusy: Resort bardzo dobry dla rodzin z dziećmi. W większości wydzielone całe mieszkania w domkach. Dodatkowo niewielka część hotelowa z pokojami. Bardzo miła obsługa, wszystko zadbane, czyste. Bardzo ładnie zorganizowane zagospodarowanie terenu. Dobre śniadania. Ogólnie obiekt godny polecenia. Lokalizacja odpowiednia na odpoczynek z dala od zgiełku.

Minusy: Ogólnie detale, które przy kilkudniowym pobycie można bez problemu przeżyć. W części hotelowej (bo w takiej spędzałem czas) pokoje słabo wydzielone akustycznie - wieczorem słychać rozmowy w sąsiednich pokojach, w ciągu dnia "działania" sprzątaczek. Mało stabilne Wi-Fi (dość istotne, bo jakość 3G lub LTE z sieci GSM słaba), choć ogólnie dostępne w całym obiekcie. Śniadania codziennie takie same. W restauracji obiektu jedzenie bardzo dobre - choć trzeba mieć na uwadze, że dania nie są tanie, a porcje raczej degustacyjne.

Plusy: I booked a shared room and it was excellent value for money, albeit we were way out of season being November. Rooms were big enough with each own on suite. Pool, sauna and jacuzzi was lovely after a full day racing on circuit. There are many little hidden gem restaurants close by but be warned lots will he closed out of season.

Minusy: Pretty much nothing negative to say... other than the ridiculous rule of wearing a swim cap in the swimming pool.

Plusy: From initial conversation with a question regarding Vale d'Oliveiras Quinta Resort and Spa Eduardo replied straight away Arrived with our family for a one week trip and I must say it was the best place we have ever stayed in Front of house staff were great, along with the curtesy bus into the town when and as needed Each day, we had a lovely breakfast and it was normally during this time the cleaners made up our room with fresh sheets and amazing work - -Well done to all Lovely location, lovely staff, lovely gym (which I should made more use of!!) so thanks again Really enjoyed our week there and will go back 100%

Plusy: The hosts are very welcoming and attend to all your needs. They are definitely one of the highlights! The room with the balcony is fabulous - big and spotless room and bathroom! Tea, coffee and water is available in the room. Breakfast is great. 5 mins walk to the beach and restaurants.

Plusy: Nice property tucked away on the hill just above town, private parking and very large rooms, some with nice balconies. The staff were very quick to respond to any requests or questions, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We only stayed a night but it felt like a place we would be happy to return to, to enjoy the area and the lovely pool. The breakfast (typical continental) was a great option.

Minusy: Basen, miła obsługa, czysto, blisko centrum, ale jednocześnie spokojnie i kameralnie, prywatny parking.

Plusy: Great accommodation with a family feel, close to the centre but still very quiet, excellent nights sleep. Spacious room with a balcony and spotlessly clean. Lovely private pool with seating areas to relax. Very friendly helpful staff, check in was easy. The self service breakfast provided was very filling with a good choice of food and set us up for a day walking the coastal path that has stunning views. Would definitely recommend and will be returning there again.

Minusy: Poprawić??? Nie wiem czy coś trzeba poprawiać. Jest fantastycznie.

Plusy: Perfect place for a relaxed holiday. Facilities looked great, the bed was super comfortable. Nice swimming pool and decent breakfast. The staff were fantastic overall, with a special word of appreciation to Bruno (at reception) for the amazing beach recommendations. We also had dinner there on one of the nights. While the menu did not offer many options, the food was of the highest standard, not to mention the amazing service we had by a gentleman named Jose Santos. I am overall impressed and likely to come back one day.

Minusy: By looking at the pictures, I was under the misconception that all rooms would have a balcony. Unfortunately my didn't. The gym facilities need some work done. We had a Romantic package upgrade, which comes with a bottle of wine as well as strawberries and chocolate. Not only was the delivery date wrong(this was fixed), when it did get delivered it had a bunch of other fruits and not enough strawberries.

Plusy: Lovely location & landscape - nice staff good connection to many places in the Algarve

Minusy: Although we picked the place for pool facilities, it was not readily accessible to guests (local classes taking place?) Breakfast was good but disappointing that coffee one of two mornswas pre-made and dispensed via thermos esp because there is a machine on hand and the # of guests at one time were only max 4

Plusy: Very friendly staff, well organized. Incredibly good restaurant for dinners with a chef’a sampler menu. The suite was great and provided a lot of space. Big, comfortable beds. Very calm location and a bit remote, so you definitely need a car to get around. The spa area is awesome with a jacuzzi and sauna.

Plusy: Lovely room , we had a suite , well worth it , very comfortable and clean . Nice Spa facility , smashing breakfast and the staff were all really nice . Nice wsrm outside pool , great pool bar with delicious snacks . The hotel as a whole was very well maintained , and Just 6€ Uber ride from Carvoeiro with it's ethora of dining options . Highly recommended .

Plusy: The surrounding garden and pool of this hotel are really beautiful. However it is clear that everything is a little outdated and budget for maintenance and repairs seems low. All in all a good place in the Algarve region to get away and relax.

Minusy: A little disappointed as I expected more from this accomodation. I booked a suite because this was our honeymoon and I also communicated this to the hotel, however there was no mention of this from the staff and the suite was not worth the money at all. The quality of the cooked breakfast items was really poor (canned mushrooms??) but the pastries were nice. Service at the bar was extremely slow and the person at the checkout seemed to have no clue what he was doing.

Plusy: The size of the villa and bedrooms, the private pool and garden. The staff of the breakfast was very attentive and helpful when we ordered food to our villa

Minusy: The lights of the swimming pool were not working and spent the weekend without using it at night. The room service was very poor. Whenever we wanted to order something we had to call the reception, then the restaurant, then the bar, etc... For each simple order we had to speak to 3-4 people at a time as they were very unorganized. There was an incident with my non-portuguese girlfriend and the receptionist. During the check-in they asked for my ID as the reservation was made under my name but they didnt ask for the ID of my girlfriend as we were speaking in Portuguese and they assumed she was Portuguese too. Next day my girlfriend called to order dinner at the hotel restaurant and spoke in English. A minute later the receptionist called and basically accused her of being Portuguese and faking that she was a foreigner. The receptionist demanded my girlfriend to hand in her ID to the staff that would bring our dinner because she was not convinced of her nationality and even threatened of kicking her out of the hotel and reporting her to the manager. After this offensive phone conversation, we went straight away to the reception to speak to the manager. Once the receptionist realized that my girlfriend was greek and not Portuguese, she said that the manager was not there and that she assumed that we should both be Portuguese as Portuguese don’t date foreigners (!!!!!). The whole experience was upsetting and her behavior was rude and offensive. Something that we were not expecting to experience especially in the Algarve that lives of tourism.

Plusy: The villa was spacious and very modern with a lovely little pool and a hot tub. It was very clean with a nice garden and enough wardrobes for everyone. The common pool area is good however the spa is quite small.

Minusy: The receptionist was very unfriendly and unhelpful at check in and the staff in general seemed inconvenienced whenever we asked for something ie. a cup of coffee at breakfast. They had not given us enough towels so we had to walk 10 minutes back to reception to get more as no one picked up the phone. When we tried endlessly to call room service on 2 occasions, we could never get through so ended up having to go to reception to order food. Our villa had 3 bedrooms, however the main bedroom was on the 2nd floor and was completely open at the top of the stairs with no door or wall to make it private. Therefore those sleeping in the main bedroom could hear everything going on downstairs in the rest of the villa, and vise versa. The quality of the room service food, which is a very small menu, was very basic and tasteless. They had run out of pizza bases for 2 days and the pasta bolognese and pasta with tomato sauce were very watery and poor quality.

Minusy: The reception staff person was helpful and friendly. However we do not like general tourist information. We prefer a more local and personal communication. The food was average and disappointing. Some of the small appliances in the kitchen were not working well, such as the toaster and the coffee maker.

Plusy: On day 2 of our stay WiFi stopped working it wasn't possible for them to fix it so they moved us to a town house which exceeded our expectations.

Minusy: No pool inflatables allowed so kids can be a bit disappointed.

Plusy: The location is great. It is a spacious apartment. Good value for money!

Minusy: The view from the apartment was not great. The living was very dark.

Plusy: Everything fine. Very close to beach. Rooms are not modern but for that price it was really good choise. Hotel has own parking place.

Plusy: Great location. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Also I like how they supplied chairs & sun umbrellas for the beach, although we didn’t use them.

Minusy: The room was a bit tired & old. The bathroom had no ventilation & needs upgrading. The scent smell was too strong - we unplugged & put outside as it was making us feel sick.

Plusy: Liked the the new decor especially all the old black and white fishing photos.

Minusy: Bit of noise from a nearby bar but to be expected because of the location on main square but plus side is you are so close to beach.

Plusy: Hot & cold breakfast included within the price, reception always manned friendly & polite the rooms have been refurbished to a very good standard also the hotel is in the process of building a roof terrace/bar which will have fantastic views out to sea. One point to note there is a bar across the road from the hotel called Sullys and the clientele can be noisy at times.

Plusy: Hotel is directly on the plaza adjacent to the beach. Easy to come and go from the beach. If you are plans are to enjoy the beach, this is your hotel.

Minusy: Coffee in room is weak. Needed both packs to make one cup. Wifi available only in the lobby. Signal weak. Buffet breakfast only option. Went outside the hotel for a simple breakfast. K

Plusy: Wszystko! Komfort, wielkość apartamentu, bliskość restauracji, oceanu i jednocześnie kameralny charakter obiektu (czyli z dala od halasliwych centrów turystycznych miejscowości).

Plusy: Przyjazna, starajaca sie obsługa. Duże pokoje, Fajny basen.

Minusy: Hotel chyba dostał 4 gwiazdki w latach 80tych i wtedy byl ostatni remont. Może i jest czysto, ale wszędobylskie dziury po wierceniach, odpadające lampy, popekane sciany, zdarta wanna. Raczej czulem sie jak w hostelu studenckim niz w dobrym hotelu. Bardzo monotonne śniadania, nie polecam na dłuższe pobyty bo można dostać wstrętu do niektórych potraw. W ostatnie dni na naszych oczach dział się jaki dramat- obsługa była zwalniana i z tego co rozumieliśmy było to dość niesprawiedliwie rozwiązywane. Ogólnie nie polecam i dziwię się wysokim ocenom. Management chyba nastawiony wyłącznie na kasę.

Plusy: We did not get breakfast with our room.

Minusy: The place is a little tired. The phone never worked the whole time we were there, even though we asked them to fix it. The door to the patio off the kitchen had to be fixed to get it to close and lock properly. They provide the bare minimum of dishes, pots and pans and utensils, but don't provide dish soap or a cloth to wash them with. There were two soap dispensers in the bathroom that were really like what you find in a public washroom. No other toiletries were provided. There was a washing machine that we liked very much after we were told the trick on how to use it from the management. There were two air conditioners - one in the living room and one in the bedroom, but only one remote to operate both of them and we had to ask for an extra plug for the kitchen which only had one outlet. They do not provide towels to use at the pool or to take to the beach. The shuttle drops you off in town twice a day in the morning at 10:00 or 11:00 and picks you up once - at 4:00 p.m. We also had a bit of an ant problem in the bathroom and the kitchen.

Plusy: The rooms are a great size, well equipped kitchen, great maid service lovely friendly staff. We had comfy beds great wardrobe and drawer space. Lounge dining area is a great size. Back to the kitchen it's the best equipped we have ever had.

Minusy: The rooms are very noisy if you have anyone above or at the side of you.The walls are very thin you think you are in the same room as them. This is the only reason we will not go back. Ask for an end terrace room so you won't be disturbed on all sides.The settee is uncomfortable.

Plusy: The room was spatious and clean. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was not fantastic, but quite decent. There is a game room with ping pong table, fussball, air hockey and a pinball (you have to pay to use, though). The view is nice, as it is located on a cliff over the ocean (from the beach below, you can take a boat to the caves, which was great). The location is close (3 min drive) to the town center, where you can find some nice restaurants. There is parking on site.

Minusy: The shower/bathtub was not well designed. If you gave a little water pressure to the shower, you made a mess in the bathroom. The fact that it was on a cliff meant that access to the beach was not as straightforward as it looks. The gym was small, warm (no AC) and with very basic equipment (one treadmill, one semi-broken bike, one flimsy bench and some dumbbells.).

Plusy: Everything from the accommodation to the hospitality was great. Great location as well

Plusy: Great location near the beach. Has a range of nice restaurants about 1km away. The whole resort has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and the staff were all helpful and friendly.

Minusy: Hot breakfast options weren't so tasty. But the bread, pastries and fruit were good.

Minusy: Everything was perfect Except no tea and coffee in the room. Which was stated in the description of facilities

Plusy: I paid a very reasonable price for 3 nights b&b . The hotel is in a lovely location with beautiful gardens. The rooms could do with a little updating. The big let down however is the breakfast. Eggs that looked like they were cooked the previous day and the majority of the food was at best only Luke warm. Just lacking a bit of inspiration and freshness. Other than that I had a very comfortable stay with lovely friendly staff.

Minusy: Dojście do pokoju odkrytym korytarzem. Dodatkowo płatny sejf. Mało atrakcyjny basen.

Plusy: Our booking was made in a rash, so when we arrived there were lots of nice surprises. Room was spacious and with ocean view. There are various separate locations with sun beds, including large green area, so you can find a secure, shady and calm place. Back gate onto cliff walk was a nice surprise and fabulous beach nearby. Nice breakfast and dinner! Main town 20 min walk away along road with a footpath.

Minusy: Area outside hotel along the main road somewhat littered. Not the hotel issue, but maybe the hotel can contact local council. Room cleaner could have washed used glasses.

Minusy: W pokoju byly plamy na scianach I Na meblach. Na zdjeciach wyglada wszystko duzo lepiej. W rzeczywistosci baseny sa bardzo male, a dla dzieci tylko maleńki brodzik. Śniadania raczej kiepskie.

Minusy: - śniadania (codziennie to samo, mało do wyboru, a niestety największy minus to prawie zimna jajecznica i boczek) - powrót do hotelu z miasteczka sporo pod górkę - dla ludzi młodych nie ma problemu jednak dla starszych moze to być kluczowe

Plusy: Beautiful hotel very bigs rooms beautiful pool and very very good friendly staff. Very clean .cleaners clean to a high stamdard everyday

Plusy: For the price paid, the room was fantastic. We got a room on the ground floor with a little patio and a view over the pool. It was out of season, so really quiet and just a nice place to relax. The room was big, very clean and comfortable. It is also just a few minutes walk down to the beaches. Just note that the walk back is a serious uphill.

Plusy: Piękne, malownicze spokojne miejsce, takie jak potrzeba na wakacje aby odpocząć. Bardzo wygodnie jest ze sklepem który jest długo otwarty i zawsze są w nim świeże produkty.

Plusy: Very family oriented . Didnt feel like a hotel at all , we stayed in a small 2 bedroom home loved the patio out side ... we had everything we needed... just think rooms/ furnitures need a little updating other then that great little house .kids loved the pools. And waking around property..

Minusy: Not gated , anyone can drive in or out of property.. so not much security for guests... furniture is old and not very comfortable from sofas to beds etc needs updating.

Plusy: Dobra lokalizacja, łatwy dojazd, fajne baseny. Carvoeiro to bardzo fajna miejscowość z ładną plażą, natryskami i toaletami przy plaży oraz barami i restauracjami tuż obok.

Minusy: Zieleń dookoła domku mogłaby być bardziej zadbana. Poduszki mogłyby być wygodniejsze.

Plusy: The 2 bedroom superior bungalow had a small but new well equipped kitchen, nice sized lounge dining area,good sized toilet/shower room, good sized bedrooms with plenty of storage space. Excellent WiFi. Very clean, recently decorated, maid service 3 times per week.

Minusy: limited outside space, but very close to the large pool area.

Plusy: Value for money

Minusy: 2 bed bungalow superior was 2 star at best can't believe people are happy we tried to go to another resort and pay for upgrade the offered one at vale da milo village for an extra 870 euros never again

Plusy: Bungalow jest bardzo wygodny, przestronny i dobrze wyposażony. Dobry kontakt z recepcją przed, w trakcie i po wizycie. W czasie pobytu mało korzystaliśmy z udogodnień na miejscu (tylko mały basen ma podgrzewaną wodę), traktowaliśmy to miejsce jako bazę wypadową do zwiedzenia Algarve i to nam się sprawdziło.

Minusy: Bed too small

Plusy: The bed is comfortable and the location is vey convenient - there were loads of restaurants around.

Minusy: Practically everything! The customer service was terrible - the staff were rude, dismissive, abrupt, and overall unhelpful and unwelcoming. The breakfast options were very limited. There are no other options other than pork which my friend cannot eat due to religious reasons. There are not able to meet a lot of dietary requirements. The room was not cleaned to a high standard. When we first arrived, staff members suggested we had not made a booking and was very condescending! She did not apologise once she had actually looked and found my booking. We had ordered a cab and was waiting however, the lady at reception sent our cab away. This happened to numerous people of my background and age group. When we reported this, the other receptionist told us he did not care and it was not his problem. We felt racially discriminated against. During breakfast no conversation was made with us by staff however, they gladly conversed and smiled with other backgrounds. I believe despite the amazing location, it is not worth staying here and being treated in a bad way.

Plusy: Pool, plenty of sun loungers and shade, poolside WC clean, breakfast, poolside snack bar and bar staff very friendly. Outdoor seating nice. Great location.

Minusy: Reception staff not welcoming . Quite unhelpful. Bedroom basic but clean. However wardrobe doors stuck which was a nuisance. Told reception but did not get it fixed.

Plusy: Very spacious apartment, we're family of 5 and the apartment had ample space, plus it had three bathrooms. Reception person very friendly and helpful.

Plusy: Właściwie to wyłącznie do przyjęcia ogród i basen (trochę zimna woda ale wielkość ok, brak ręczników)

Minusy: Wszystko, pokoje brudne i fatalnie urządzone, stare meble, opadające okiennice, pajęczyna i pająki na ścianach. Gorszych pokoi nie widziałam. Śniadanie mało zróżnicowane. Nie polecam!!!

Minusy: I was in a room where a sofa was broken and the flush of the toilet was broken was making nasty noise for 3 minutes, that room was not meant for geneRal public, I was given the worst room on site Avoid room 18

Plusy: Conparing price to the things that i got i’m Really happy appartment had it all, towels, soap, full equiped kitchen, Breakfast included in price, etc

Minusy: We had only two towels for 3 persons but there was bo information that towels will be there so i was prepared that there will be none, in the kitchen there wasn’t anything to clean the dishes

Plusy: The accommodation to fit a big family and the location being not too far from the main town centre as well as supermarkets

Minusy: If it is a large family, you run out of hot water pretty quick. The gas cooker was very slow. Not enough utensils when thinking of cooking for a big family

Plusy: Nice suroundings, very quiet, great pool. Fully equipped kitchen, very spacious, I believe families would love it also

Minusy: Staff didn't know the price of the breakfast. Yeah, restaurant is a different company, all that, but still, could have known at least an estimate.
