Plusy: Great swimingpool & spa complex, friendly staff with lot of activities, and a great view & hotel location

Plusy: Its a must hotel for families, great to spend a couple of nights and enjoy the pool.

Minusy: The kids club. They have a staff of two but put the kids to watch a movie for 2 hours. The kids want to play and the staff didnt t just care and even replied on a way that wasn’t appropriate. I belive that the massages and kids club are the improvement opportunities for this hotel.

Plusy: The better part of the hotel was the pool

Minusy: The price.

Plusy: Breakfast and all the meals were excellent, we enjoyed the possibility to have vegetarian choice. Landscape is wonderful, so is the spa, gym,etc. We had very good massages too. May I suggest that more information about the hotel, architect, construction and concept and the surrounding region could be available in the hotel

Minusy: Atmosphere

Plusy: The staff was always extremely kind, the Aquadome remains gorgeous and well kept. This is the only hotel we've come back to for the 4th time now, first as a couple and now with a year old. The entire lobby is also beautiful.

Minusy: I still think the restaurant could offer some cheaper options or buffet - the food is extraordinary but I didn't want to spend 20e/person per meal everyday.

Plusy: We chose H2otel as the destination to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was the best decision we could have made! The architecture and the location, in Serra da Estrela, give the hotel a special charm. Aquadome is unique ... There is a wide range of activities and treatments. The staff is very kind and the facilities very comfortable. We totally recommend H2otel!

Minusy: Everything was perfect!

Plusy: The hotel was very clean and cosy. Breakfast had many options and quality. The surroundings are amazing. An absolute closeness to nature, although if you want to stay entirely at the hotel, it also has all the necessary comfort.

Minusy: The temperature of the heated pools should be higher, not very hot comparing to the outside temperature. The room was too hot, and the air-conditioning would give off an unpleasant smell when turned on.

Plusy: I loved everything: nature, comfort, beauty, food, spa, Chinese Traditional Massage, the quality of staff, cleanliness

Minusy: I just loved everything

Plusy: I was very happy with the vegan breakfast, I asked for this at my reservation and they made it possible. Staff really nice and helpful.

Minusy: Rooms quite noisy/neighbors loud.

Plusy: Easy location to find, with a huge car park at the back of the hotel. Excellent views over the town and countryside. The hotel was very clean, tidy and rooms were excellent. The breakfast was also excellent with a great choice of food.

Plusy: Delicious breakfast with a huge variety to choose from. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Onsite gym and spa. Will definately return.

Minusy: Everything was perfect.

Minusy: The buffet soup was only luke warm. The scrambled egg and the bacon at breakfast was creasy and not hot enough.

Plusy: Location, Staff especially at the restaurant and Bar.

Minusy: Not much really, the only downside was the temperature in the room was too high and we couldn’t turn it down no matter what we did, and the underfloor heater in the bathroom was way too hot that we us to wear our shoes. We also requested for extra pillows and were told that they don’t have any as they were completely full, thought that was odd that they don’t have any extras... maybe I’m being a little picky but over all very pleasant stay and good value for money.

Plusy: This hotel is fantastic, specially if traveling in family with small kids.

Plusy: So clean, great sheets. Good food, ok workout room (we don’t think it gets used much).

Minusy: Expensive even in the off season

Minusy: The room was not very clean. The service at the bar could be improved.

Plusy: Exceptional place to spend vacation as a family. We have a two year old daughter and she loved the kids play area and the indoor pool. Staff was super nice and the hotel is gorgeous, located in a fantastic place. Breakfast was very generous and everything was very clean. Very comfortable place to stay. Will definitely come back.

Minusy: Nothing really. We loved everything about it.

Plusy: The hotel is located at around 1000m altitude, about 1/3 of the way between Covilhã and Torre (the highest point of Serra da Estrela). It sits in a very calm place, in the woods, with a majestic view over the city. The hotel itself will seem very familiar, in particular if you've seen the Grand Budapest Hotel movie, as it has this idyllic look and feel to it. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast has a lot of options, including a few things for people with more restrictive diets. Rooms were comfortable and getting some rest was not a problem. There are a few reading areas, with comfortable sofas, and some of them are even on balconies. There is also an enjoyable garden around the hotel.

Minusy: Rooms are supposed to have some kind of radio device on the bathroom, but it wasn't working in our room. I'm sure they would have sorted it out, if we had asked about it - we didn't bother, it wasn't that important and there was a lot more to enjoy in the place.

Plusy: I have no words to thank the staff enough. I ask them to prepare the room with a surprise and it was over the top. The staff is more than friendly. Everything was perfect.

Minusy: Nothing really.

Plusy: Everything is good, but the Xmas evening dinner and Lunch was not good value for money.

Plusy: The property was close to roads that we wanted to ride, the staff were friendly and helpful the hotel was immaculate

Plusy: Nice modern hotel. Lovely room, very modern, big and clean Nice restaurant for dinner. Staff very helpful. Lovely pool, though we didnt swim.

Minusy: A little far from town centre if you wanted to walk and all up hill, car recommended.

Minusy: Hi, the swimming pool was for the staff, family members and friends with plenty of kids who invaded the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. As such it was almost impossible for me as a guest to enjoy the swimming pool. The more so that the weather was awful! The gymnasium was also unavailable to guests as I suspect that it is rented to outside members. The staff was very unhelpful to us. They do not speak English or French . It is not very nice to work with tourists.

Plusy: Overall extremely happy with the establishment, and breakfast was great with variety and quality.

Minusy: Hidden cost for the swimming pool cap. Neither part of Terms and Conditions nor the hotel's website.

Plusy: Good modern hotel in a convenient location. Underground parking useful to secure motorcycle.

Plusy: For us, a group of six persons, this hotel met exactly what we were looking for. Good spacious rooms, restaurant excellent buffet meals or menu choice. Great pool which we used. Have to wear a bathing hat. Manager was first class and could not do enough to assist us and recommend places to visit and eat. Will be re booking for next year.

Minusy: It was just first class. simple as that.

Plusy: Breakfast was great. The room was comfy and spacious enough for two. The staff very nice and accomodating, ready to help at all times.

Minusy: It was too warm in the room. Thermostat didn't seem to work and heating in the bathroom was constantly on on high (couldn't turn it off)

Plusy: Second attendee was superbly nice. Rooms are clean and they fence off the cold winds very well, altough we expected a bigger bed in a way better location in the corridor.

Minusy: Attendee wasnt amiable, there is no bag-carrying service, room wasn't close to the front part of the hotel where the view was at so we stick to a sitty face-the-park room right next to the elevator. Restaurant doesnt work on weekends or by night.

Plusy: Okolica , góry i cisza.

Minusy: When we checked in we were asked if we wanted dinner since it should be booked. They reported that there would be two shifts, 19:30 or 21:30. We opted for the first one. We headed to the dining room at 7:45 pm. The room was full. We had to sit at tables outside the dining room. The available food was cold and some of the items were already finished. They informed us that there would have been people who did not schedule the meal and simply sat down. In the end they charged 18 € / pax for dinner. A meal far below expectations for a 4 star Hotel. Incompetent management of the dining room, far below expectations for a 4-star Hotel.

Plusy: Super friendly staff delivering as much support as possible. The internet connections is very good as well. Close to the mountain top and with an amazing view.

Minusy: I believe some parts of the menu could get improved.

Plusy: Very clean and pleasant location been here multiple times

Minusy: Long waits every time we need something , receptionist not even answering the calls

Plusy: To już mój drugi pobyt w tym hotelu. Byłam kilka lat temu nic się nie zmieniło jest ok. Pokoje czyste przestronne. Ładne widoki z okien. Obsługa w porządku. I świetne śniadanie. Do tego super lokalizacja. Jak najbardziej polecam.

Plusy: Hotel położony jest na uboczu miasta. Ma to swoje plusy: bliskość centrum handlowego jak i minusy: daleko do najlepszych restauracji. Ale w tej kwestii bardzo pomocny był personel zamawiający taksówki.

Minusy: Największym problemem był brak dodatkowych gniazdek w pokoju. Chcąc naładować telefon lub tablet trzeba było rozłączyć telewizor. Niedogodnością był również brak warzyw na śniadanie oraz bardzo długie oczekiwanie na windę szczególnie w godzinach porannych.

Plusy: - bardzo czyste i zadbane pokoje - bardzo czysta restauracja - miły i pomocny personel - wygodne łóżka - działające w każdym miejscu hotelu wifi

Minusy: - brak lodówki - mała liczba gniazdek

Plusy: swietna lokalizacja, bardzo blisko do centrum handlowego bardzo dobre sniadanie i pyszna kawa klimatyzacja w pokoju prywatny balkon czysto

Minusy: widok z okna na parking bardzo glosni sasiedzi ale to nie wina hotelu

Plusy: Closer to Serra da Estrela and with free breakfast.

Minusy: The hotel is not worth its cost. There were only three power outlets including one at the bathroom, one for the tv and one for the lamp. If you need to charge your phone or laptop, you have to change it in the bathroom or unplug either the lamp or the tv.

Plusy: Breakfast.

Minusy: Only one lift quite incapable of dealing with the number of guests. We had to wait about 15 minutes and then descended 6 floors on foot with our luggage. Available car parking was about 500 meters away up a very steep street!

Plusy: Bardzo dobre śniadania, miła obsługa, pokoje codziennie sprzątane.

Minusy: Kawa na śniadanie niezbyt smaczna, trafił mi się troszkę ciasnawy pokój ale do przeżycia, mało dostępnych gniazdek w pokoju - trzeba było odłączać np. lampę żeby jednocześnie podłączyć komputer i telefon.

Plusy: Everything was good

Plusy: Great location. Super value. Best breakfast in the price range so far.

Minusy: Room smelled strongly of smoke.

Plusy: Nice central position, good for exploring the town. Comfortable bed. Nice shower and Bathroom. Not too noisy at night. Staff in restaurant very friendly and helpful for evening meal and breakfast.

Minusy: Would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room for us brits!
