Plusy: Clean, affordable away from the confusion.

Plusy: This was only a fleeting visit, with a late arrival and early departure. The staff were very helpful on arrival and the room was very clean with a comfortable bed. There was a good choice for breakfast.

Plusy: Wszystko w porządku, standard sieci IBIS utrzymany. Hotel jest nad rzeką, przy ruchliwej ulicy, lepiej brać pokoje z oknami w inna stronę, jeśli komuś zależy na ciszy.

Minusy: Nie ma nic do poprawy.

Plusy: From the beautiful location to the exceptional customer service, our stay was dreamlike. Mel and Suzette at Bamboo Spa delighted us with their amazing skill and open smiles. The Arcadas restaurant was a memorable experience, with every dish showing an Incredible attention to detail and complexity of flavours seldom encountered. Caroline and Luis walked us through this experience and we couldn't have asked for better guides. Worth mentioning the care and attention of all the front desk staff who were incredible helpful. Would definitely return!

Minusy: Very tired hotel. Carpets were dirty and smelled musty and in one part of vomit. Furniture was cheap and didnt look clean.

Plusy: The grounds were very nice, the room size was great and the breakfast was excellent. We had the opportunity to spend time with Augusto in the lounge and he was over the top friendly and very helpful - an excellent host!

Plusy: Standard large modern 3* business hotel, in quiet side street not far from station and old town. Clean and comfortable room with bathtub and good wifi.

Minusy: Bit of a smell of stale cigarette smoke; weather was mild, so was able to keep window open all night, and otherwise no complaints.

Plusy: Pool was perfect, enjoyed playing ping pong, there is also some gym equipment. Location is ideal to either easily walk into town or walk to the beautiful park in the other direction. Great for people who love to go running in the morning. Easy walk to either of the two train stations as well. Super comfortable bed!!!!

Minusy: Breakfast buffet was a bit basic, but overall ok.

Plusy: The food at the restaurant was horrible. They should serve real portuguese dishes . Gourmet dishes should be avoide. A true disaster . Good hotel terrible and expensive restaurate

Plusy: Very friendly and helpful staff. Every effort was taken to make us feel happy and comfortable during our stay. Excellent breakfast served in the morning. It is a charming hotel in a business district.

Plusy: Near the bus station. Easy to get in and out All the staff were very helpful. Room was great. Has a swimming pool.

Minusy: A little far from center of town . 15 minute walk. Some of the younger staff at the reception desk need a little more training in how to get around the city.

Plusy: The room was large enough and well-maintained. Very comfortable bed. Great small spa. Excellent massage service

Minusy: The location is a bit far from everything in a commercial kind of zone.

Plusy: Cicha okolica, dobry widok z okna. Pokój przestronny, z dużą łazienką. W pokoju nieduża lodówka ale wystarczy do schłodzenia różnych napojów :) Dobra lokalizacja, maksymalnie pół godziny spaceru do najważniejszych obiektów w mieście. Na miejscu basen, który po spacerach pozwala się zrelaksować :) Bardzo miła obsługa, która chętnie pomaga. Podziemny parking (dodatkowo płatny 7 euro) z bezpośrednim połączeniem z hotelem dzięki czemu nie trzeba za dużo nosić.

Minusy: Mało wydajna klimatyzacja w pokoju. Pomimo ustawienia na minimalną temperaturę nie udało się osiągnąć w pokoju mniej niż 25 stopni. Jedynym pocieszeniem była możliwość otwarcia okna w nocy.

Plusy: Good size apartment. Very large for two people. Well equipped and in a separate building form the main hotel.

Minusy: Smell of rotting wood from a building site next door flowing in through the stairwell window. Steep, stone staircase leading the apartment. No extractor fan in bathroom. Bathroom windows not sealed and no heating caused the room to be very cold at night. Breakfast was minimal and ‘hot’ foods were not fresh and tended to be cold. Fruit juice was very watered down.

Minusy: It was at the bottom of the hill, so it's quite a trek to the main attractions.

Plusy: Obiekt z własnym parkingiem, co w tej lokalizacji okazało się bardzo przydatne. Śniadanie również było dobre ale nie było ciepłego menu. Pokoje czyste i ciche.

Plusy: Świetna lokalizacja Miła obsługa Czysto

Minusy: Hotel stary i zniszczony, zdjęcia na bookingu nie odzwierciedlają rzeczywistego stanu. Cena za wysoka w stosunku do standardu. Mały garaż w hotelu, w momencie przyjazdu okazało się, że jest zapełniony w całości. Słabe śniadania, mały wybór. Generalnie hotel średniej jakości, ale broni się bardzo dobrą lokalizacją.

Plusy: Close to center

Minusy: Not a clearly visible parking entrance from the street. Thank goodness for GPS, I would have passed the hotel.

Plusy: Lovely traditional building - lots of space - good facilities - clean - friendly staff

Minusy: HOWEVER - this is a student area and they partied all night right outside the hostel - until dawn - and this is January! The noise was incessant and then there was pissing in the street outside!

Plusy: We changed to an in-suite doble room and the hostel standard increased significantly. Better isolation, heaters available and really comfy bed.

Minusy: It is fine if you don't have to use shared bathrooms, not for hygiene or cleanliness, but for low temperature and lack of proper isolation of the space.

Plusy: Really good placement to visit Coimbra.

Minusy: We visited it on December. Showers were together at bottom level and in this area were not any heat source or equipment to warm the room, so was hard to take a proper shower. Water was hot and fine, but atmosphere really cold. Some rooms without heater were also not really comfortable and a bit cold also.

Plusy: Staff were very welcoming and the location was great with parking right outside which is what I needed this time. Showers were a plenty as long as you don't mind going to the basement for them. All in all a nice stay

Minusy: They advertise soundproofing but, honestly, if i didn't have ear plugs I would have lost a lot of sleep due to the neighbouring bar chucking bottles out late at night and people playing some game on the square until long after i went to bed, also very loud doors throughout the hostel and just my roommates on the first night woke me up several times even with ear plugs. Definitely loud bangy rooms! Also they specifically say that WiFi works in all areas but it definitely doesn't work on the top floor where a lot of rooms are. It wouldn't bother me but they actually advertise it!! But i stayed an extra night as it was a comfortable bed and it was low season so when my roommates left i ended up with a dorm to myself. The breakfast was good except the coffee, it is what you expect for the price, but the kitchen not brilliantly equipped although theres enough to make a meal with

Minusy: Łazienka w piwnicy, zimno i zapach okropny. Wszędzie pająki. Pokój na ostatnim piętrze malutki, gniazdko wychodzi ze ściany. Roleta nie daje się podnieść.

Plusy: Friendly and helpful staff, spacious bunk beds, clean and comfortable room, fully equipped kitchen, sufficient breakfast and convenient location. Great value!

Minusy: Only downside is the bathrooms/showers. Could be cleaner and better to have one on the same floor as the room.

Blisko lokale gastronomiczne, ciekawe atrakcje.

Plusy: Hostel znajduje się blisko centrum, 10-15min spacerem do Uniwersytetu. Warunki hostelowe (mało miejsca), ale jak najbardziej wystarczające. Śniadanie bardzo smaczne.

Plusy: Personel był bardzo miły i pomocny, dobre ceny. doskonała lokalizacja

Plusy: Hotel odwiedziliśmy po raz drugi po paru latach i nadal polecamy. Wart dopłacić do pokoju z balkonem i widokiem na miasto, jest większy i przyjemniejszy. Obsługa opiekuje się autem tj. parkujecie przed hotelem, zabieracie walizki a auto jest odprowadzane na parking a potem przyprowadzane pod hotel. Do budynków uniwersytetu trzeba się wspiąć ale to nie kłopot a po drodze mija się wiele sklepów a restauracji (polecam tapas). Wieczorem warto wybrać się na taras na dachu hotelu na lampkę porto z widokiem na miasto.

Plusy: Piękny widok z tarasu na wzgórze uniwersyteckie, odprowadzenie auta na hotelowy parking przez pracownika hotelu, dobre śniadanie.

Plusy: This hotel has a great location. If you have a vehicle, they have valet parking which is so convenient. The staff were very helpful & the rooftop bar offers great views and the opportunity to mingle with other hotel guests.

Minusy: Nothing

Plusy: It is 5-6 mins from the main walking street.

Minusy: Had to turn in the room key every time we go out

Plusy: Bardzo, bardzo miła obsługa hotelu, chętnie pomaga, odpowiada na pytania, zawsze uśmiechnięta, nic nie jest problemem. Aż chciało się wrócić do hotelu. Mimo wczesnego check-out'u można zostawić samochód na parkingu wraz z bagażami bez dodatkowych dopłat. Wszyscy uśmiechnięci.

Minusy: Nie było żadnych minusów.

Minusy: The coffee machines for breakfast were not good. One ground beans per cup but produced a weak, lukewarm mix, the other was Nescafe. The cups and milk were cold.

Plusy: Widok z okna (pokój 310). Parking - samochód zaparkowany i przyprowadzony przez obsługę hotelu. WiFi OK. Widok z tarasu na dachu (6 piętro) na miasto. Śniadanie OK (czekolada i kawa z automatu). Położenie w centrum miasta z łatwym dojazdem samochodem. Miły Pan w recepcji, który chciał nam dać lepszy pokój (większy i z lepszym widokiem na 5 piętrze) za 20Euro, a jak pozostałem przy swoim to jeszcze się targował i chciał już tylko 15. Pokój na 3 piętrze był dla na w sam raz:-).

Minusy: Brakowało czyścika do butów, ale jest maszyna do czyszczenia butów na parterze.

Plusy: This is a hostel, in a historic building. The breakfast is small, but had all the basics. We had a room with our own bathroom, which was very nice. Sadly due to the covidvirus , Coimbra is empty of university students and tourists. The building is historic. It seems that it use to be a home for mother's and babies.

Minusy: Szafa nie pasująca do wnętrza. Wietrzenie pokoju przed przyjazdem gości.

Plusy: Bardzo miła obsługa. Czysto. Śniadania podstawowe ale w cenie, która jak na Portugalię była ok. Wspólna łazienka również czysta, bardzo duży wygodny prysznic. Jest przechowalnia bagażu. Lokalizacja bardzo fajna. Były gniazdka do ładowania przy łóżku a także stolik z pufą do siedzenia.

Minusy: Potwornie skrzypiące drzwi do pokoju i źle spasowane. Bardzo słabe oświetlenie, nastrojowe ale nie można włączyć porządnego. W przypadku opcji twin trzeba się wdrapywać na łóżko piętrowe. Brak mydełka czy szamponu - może miało nie być ale mimo wszystko mi brakowało.

Plusy: Przepiękne, z własną historią, miejsce w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji, blisko Uniwersytetu. Ponadto cudowni ludzie oraz pyszne śniadanie.

Minusy: Wszystko było dobrze

Plusy: Wspaniałe miejsce! Piękny budynek sam w sobie pełen historii, wspaniałe pokoje, świetne miejsce spotkań z barem. Lokalizacja rewelacyjna, przed katedrą. Personel wspaniały i pomocny, doskonale też potrafi doradzić co zwiedzić i jak dalej podróżować.

Minusy: W zasadzie wszystko super, może dodał bym jakieś warzywa podczas śniadania.

Plusy: The staff is gentle and genuinely tries to help with whatever questions you may have. The place is historical itself and greatly located, just in front of the Old Cathedral. The rooms are simply decorated but well furbished.

Minusy: Ok breakfast. Don't expect more than the normal american coffee, cheap tea, some buns, the possibility of a toast, some cereal and milk. Ants in the room. Expect to hear blowdriers and other similar sounds even if you book a double room, as the rooms are not as soundproof as you may expect and read about.

Minusy: This hotel is very old and sparse but clean. Could use updating current for charging electronic items or for international travellers.

Plusy: Central location on river yards from station. Balcony overlooking busy road and river and views beyond. Yards from shops, cafes, historical sites. Beautiful lift with bench. Breakfasts really good, and open till 10am. Shame about the constant rain during 5 days in late Feb/early March.

Minusy: Very old and tired. Only 4 tv channels. No tea or coffee facilities in our room. Furniture a bit saggy in lounge.

Minusy: Noise. There is no soundproofing. We had to change the room due to excessive noise from room above us (impact and dragging of furniture on floor).

Minusy: small irritation, toaster was switched off since it is cold the bread would go through through machine (even at the slowest speed), will come out luke warm, the monet the bread would come out, stuff member will turn off het on the machine and you need to start process all over again. You really need to hug the toaster to get the job done, juices are not fresh, tea/cofee machine temperamental

Plusy: Great views, inexpensive, nice breakfast

Minusy: No charm, car needed. Shuttle infrequent in October.

Plusy: A good basic accommodation in an excellent location in the heart of Coimbra. Clean rooms, friendly staff and convenient to all the sights to be seen in the old part of the city. Our room had a wonderful view of the Santa Cruz Church.

Minusy: Being on the square was a bit noisy on a Saturday night, but it is not a huge problem.

Plusy: Very basic room but clean and reasonably comfortable with all we needed for one night's stay. Very well located and easy to find in the square opposite the church in the town centre, everything we wanted to see in easy walking distance. Good value for money but probably wouldn't stay more than one night, good for somewhere cheap and clean and convenient to sleep though.

Pokój był baaaardzo zimny, na moją prośbę dostałam co prawda starą i ledwo działającą farelkę do ogrzewania ale nie była ona w stanie w żaden sposób ogrzać pokoju do znośnej temperatury. Przez booking.com zarezerwowałam pokój 2-osobowy z balkonem a na miejscu okazało się, że musiałam wykłócać się o balkon bo pokoju 2-osobowego z balkonem w ogóle w obiekcie nie ma. Ostatecznie dostałam do swojej dyspozycji pokój 3-4 osobowy z balkonem, ale nie zmienia to faktu, że przy na booking są przekłamania dotyczące pokoi.
