Good
Excellent location Good breakfast and lots of verity Staff very helpful and nice
The rooms could be more cleaner especially in COVID time. Just before going to bed at 3 we realized that the side lamp wasn’t turning off but it was late at night so we didn’t bother!! There was a side table missing too( see picture below ) which the hotel didn’t know about it until we told them! I kind of found it strange for a 4 star hotel not to know such thing because rooms get clean every time a client leaves so how can one miss to see that there is a side table missing and lamp that doesn’t turn off!! 😂 My final verdict I found the price a bit high for what you get compare to other hotels such as Hilton gardens, Qbic and Motel one. They are lucky 🍀 to have a nice location
Good enough!
The very big bed, complete breakfast options
Very noisy next door neighbors, no sound proofing whatsoever, made worse by the shared door between the two rooms
Exceptional
Everything is perfect just the drinks are a little bit expensive
Nothing
Good
The location was excellent, it was close to all the local amenities and and public transport also close to attractions. Unfortunately on a Sunday all the stores were closed.
The fact that they didn’t have any food, they didn’t have the bed I requested, I couldn’t sit down and eat my food in the lobby but people can stand outside and smoke marijuana/ cannabis/ weed, at 12 am. They didn’t even have snacks for me to buy🤔.
Our stay@penta
Location Room Service Breakfast
No net Netflix No Bluetooth connection or apple airplay on tv We were given a room next to a family with kids who made plenty of noise. Not only the kids make noise but the parents too 😡
Disappointing
Reception took 25 euro for deposit, it was first time , i heard about deposit , and one week last i didn’t receive it yet
Very poor
Gym is not that bad for a hotel
The room was filthy, stains on the sheets, we’ve found a bunch of black hair on the floor (not ours though), elevators tiny, breakfast not great- they give you some granola and flakes but there is no milk or yoghurt. Internet was very slow. It is all wrong on so many levels
Great location and friendly staff
Interior is great and staff very helpful
The room allocated hadn’t been cleaned, after calling reception we were reassigned straight away.
Good
The hall it's super nice and accurate. There is a big and nice bar and during the evening it's a cocktail bar. The stile is super nice and everything is clean. The smell of soap is super nice. I loved it!
The hotel is super nice but something could be better: In the room the air conditioner was maximum 24 degree and it was cold. The woman to the reception didn't even explain how to access to the room The breakfast included was good and high quality but nobody told us that was possible to ask bacon and eggs or hot breakfast. Basically the internal communication should be increased.
Nice hotel, area and lounge...
Always very good clean comfortable lounge
Hip hotel, nice bar and...
Joyful place, nice atmosphere, good comfortable beds, friendly easy going service
Exceptional
Really friendly, curteous satff
Nothing - except getting a blo0d clot in my leg during my mandatory Belgium quarantine period
The location was good for shopping
The breakfast was a small bag of cold food. Disappointing. Room was not made up and water not replaced. Minimalist rooms
Location
Breakfast was very poor for the price we paid It looks like the room was occupied before we came. The bed was not really done well.
Nice, clean rooms Friendly staff. Good Covid-19 measurements.
Try to avoid a room at street side during Friday/Saturday nights. A lot of partying people and shouting during all night made it very difficult to sleep.
Modern, hotel's overall atmosphere
Noisy from the bar and street until late (we were on first floor)
Bed was big.
Hotel is overdesigned. Minuscule lavatoire. Minuscle space to place something in the bathroom (space for one necessaire only). Instead of a board, you have just one metallframe to hang a couple of shirts. We had no breakfast, it was too expensive, 24 euro per Person). Really bad was parking situation. I booked the hotel explicitely as it promised to have a parking. But they just pointed you to the public parking in the street (5 Euro for 2 hours), or a public parking (2,70 euro an hour, or 23 Euro for a day). Due to Corona no spa, gym, so cant say how it is.

The hotel was beautiful. There’s no doubt about it. I loved my room. Everything was well put in places. You have airconditioning, flat-screen tv and a very nice bed. I loved the fact that there were multiple switches for different set of lights. I also ABSOLUTELY love the fact that they have a mini refrigerator, that was really useful. The bathroom was very nice as well.
The check-in was a freaking NIGHTMARE ti say the least. Their computers were so low. They couldn’t seem to find anyone’s reservations on their computer (NOTE: they said that this happens occasionally) so they asked if i could wait so that they could handle other clients check-ins while I’m sitting there hoping for my name to pop-up on their computer. And so then i had to get in line (yes, there was a long line, in fact, there is always a long line) & i had to wait yet again for half an hour until it was my turn again. And when it finally got to my turn, they finally found my name but they almost forced me to pay AGAIN even after i repeatedly told them that i already payed for my room. Long story short, i stood there for five or ten minutes longer until it finally got sorted out. But then comes my neighbors. The neighbors were very loud and you could hear them screaming all day long. What i just hated about them is that they were just yelling in the hallway and in their room all the damn time. At some point, I thought that they came back from the bar and that they got drunk but on my last morning there, they actually woke me up with the same disgusting attitude of theirs. Those early birds were yelling at like 8’ in the morning. It was unbearable. I packed my things and left earlier. There was also a whole other mess during my check-out but i just want to forget about that too. I’m never going back there. Ever again.
The rooms were nice, just like the free shampoo and shower gel. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is located in a nice area.
Staff could really do better, as I've had a few discussions about payments through booking though staff said the rooms weren't paid yet. The beds could be very hard and the rooms can be very noisy at night.
ambiance , location,
AWFUL STAY, HORRIFIC STUFF i do always get used to say positives, this time NO! Staff are not polite, not one not two,,, ok. why? firstly this 4 star hotel doesn't have formal reception desk. they do the formalities behind the bar. it means the same person serves beer has to handle guest affairs. it wired for 4* in the heart of Brussels . we putted 1 or 2 euros coins to the vendor machines for a bottle of water and it didn't work, my wife ask politely and she told her story ," would you please give me a bottle instead?" , the guy behind the bar said" HOW DO YOU WANT TO PROVE IT?" surprised! .." ok come with us to show you" the guy came with us to the 4th floor, putted a coin inside and find out the machine is not working!? Can you imagine this assault? we came back to the bar again he gave us a coin, and again we ask a bottle of water and he offer us one for 8 euro this time! This is not OK. Our room was smelly , like cigarette odor, the shower drain did not work and the water find it ways to the room. again i informed them and the answer was regret what we say. god knows how many hotel i stayed in my life, this on is the most Awful .
the room was good and clean. there was enough space for 2 people to open our big suitcase. the bar was quite cool. Food from the bar exceeded our expectation. The stuff was helpful. the view from our room was OK.
The bed was too soft. The shower area had glass cover, no curtain, but only in half size, so water from shower spills out on the floor. I wish they design it the way that we can take a shower without creating a big mess. Wifi was a bit hard to connect. The code given by the reception didn't work sometimes.
Nice responsive staff
Breakfast could have been better, it had huge potential but lacked some joy
The stuff was helpful and nice. Good food.
The bed was too soft and not comfy. I felt back pain after 2 nights
Great conditions, decor and a fantastic breakfast
Very poor sound insulation, we stayed on the first floor and it was impossible to fall asleep with the noise coming from the bar
Great place to stay. Great option with late check out on Sundays with no extra cost. Interesting decor.
The room smelt of cigarette smoke and the usb charge socket would not work without the TV having to be on all night. The accomodation was very noisy and the toilet seat looked as if it had not been clean as there was a small amount of excrement on the front of it.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really nice and even had mimosas!! The atmosphere in the bar/restaurant at night was fantastic
Location was great! It was only a 20/25min walk to the square and the same distance to the train station for going to Bruges etc. There were plenty of options for eating out and shopping around the hotel. Breakfast was a good selection of food including warm cooked and breads and fruit etc. Staff were friendly and helped with any queries. The ambience of the hotel was great and the decor was modern and looked recently updated. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the city!
The view wasn't great from the room but it's understandable that at least one side of the building has to face other buildings. The windows weren't clean on the outside which was very visible from the inside of the room!
It is not a Hotel ..it is a hotel inside a bar ...
It was rainy and wet when I arrived, they let me check in early which was really nice. I liked the breakfast, I particularly enjoyed the hibiscus infusion tea I liked my room, it was cosy and clean.
The music and noise from the bar was so loud on Saturday night, I didn't sleep until 1am and I had an early morning flight Sunday. This was the only downside (the sound proofing could be better)
Window in the room 115 needs to be fixed, it’s difficult to close. All time you hear the noise from the street.
Room was very clean and tidy, large bed and had everything we needed.
It was very noisy hotel until early hours of the morning. Great place to go and have a drink at the bar but when staying directly above the bar you won't get any sleep - chairs scrapping through-out the night and slamming doors with the sound of music etc. Don't go here for a quiet weekend - club like evening.
The room was basic, smelt and really noisy from a building site next door
The room was appalling, low quality all round
This hotel is only good for adults wanting to enjoy Brussels for touring and nights out, not for families.
The distance to central from the hotel, not family friendly and the price of the room per night.
Staffs were very friendly and room condition was more than i thought. Also the bar was really good they got lots of beer selections. Definitely would recommend this hotel !
Would be better if they have spare room slippers also for the double room customers. We asked for the slippers and the reception said they would leave it when room cleaning but there wasn’t.
Modern feel and vibrant hotel
Expensive and limited food options
The facilities were nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Overall a good hotel.
The room service offer they left in the room was not accurate. Basically it stated you can get some food anytime and was not the case.
All ok!! Good room.. good cleaning...close to city center... good wifi...
The downstairs area has a lovely and relaxed vibe, which would only be improved with adequate service levels and better staff training. The free pool tables were a plus, and the breakfast was generally to a good standard. The location is good if you like a bit of a walk towards the main area of Brussels. The rooms are well equipped with plugs, safe, fridge etc, only missing a mirror above the dressing table.
Really mixed reviews. Hotel was advertised as having a swimming pool, the deciding reason for booking this over better-priced alternatives. I raised the fact there was no pool only to be greeted with a shrug and a mumble that it wasn’t their fault it was wrong online. A complete lack of accountability and a real annoyance for a customer who wouldn’t have chosen this hotel had I known inaccurate information about the facilities were given. There was one pleasant, dark haired gentleman working reception the morning we checked out. Other than that I found the staff rude, arrogant and unhelpful. We went completely unacknowledged at the bar and the dark haired female breakfast assistant had such a bad attitude and constantly spoke down to her customers, banging plates etc as she went. Pillows extremely uncomfortable but the hotel eventually provided more to help make comfortable which we appreciated. Also no shower mat which is a slip hazard, we tried to remedy this ourself but using an additional hand towel from the cleaners trolley. Unfortunately the cleaner removed this daily, but sometimes not even changing the other towels, or changing them and giving us only hand towels to shower with, which made zero sense! We turned it into an absurd towel lottery joke when we arrived back to the room each evening.
Worst on-site restaurant for dinner but breakfest were great.
I booked the stay for my sister and partner for a long weekend. Firstly, one day before arrival, I received an email saying the stay had been cancelled, this wasnt the case. I paid for the stay 3 months prior. After much confusion, many emails and phone calls I managed sort this. Upon arrival, the staff wouldn't allow my sister and partner to check in without my credit card for additional charges. So instead of allowing my sister to use her own credit card. I had to scan over details of my own credit card. On the last day, the staff booked my sister and her partner a taxi to the Airport. They sent the taxi driver to the wrong airport, so then they had to get another taxi to the other airport, costing them €240!!!
Room was warm, clean, decent size, quiet. Bar on ground floor was nice. Well positioned in the city, easy to get around to sights, transport, restaurants.
Breakfast was really overpriced, luckily there was a Paul bakery down the street. Room could have done with some snacks in there, rather than having to pay for vending machine down the hall. Water in room was never refilled, which was annoying.
Quirky and plenty to do at all times
Menu too expensive dive for what it is
Excellent location. Welcoming, friendly staff and relaxed bar / lounge facilities. Room was clean and quite spacious.
Carpets on corridor could do with a clean
Trendy hotel. Great location. Good gym.
Not as clean as you can expect from a 4 star hotel. On a big bed you get 2 small duvets instead of 1 big one.
Location was very nice, close to everything. Very trendy hotel and quite modern so that is what i like. Hotel was also very clean and responsive to problems so happy.
For the price i would have expected a slightly nicer hotel. The pillows were really bad and even with 2 of them they were not great. It can get quite loud and the lifts are very small and can take a while to come to you.
Very smart hotel, clean and modern.
Location was a little out of the way, Staff wasn't over helpful
Breakfast, clensinest, location.
Broken window. Had to change rooms. Bad internet, no connectivity. Could not connect PC to TV. Limited TV usage. Couldn't change input on TV to HDMI or USB-key. Netflix option was promissed, tv did not support it. There was an unplanned 75€ reservation on credit card (it was not disclosed when booking) , after 5 days they still didn't release the money.
Excellent stay, decent breakfast with clean facilities. A good hotel bar over night which was the perfect place to end a day wandering around Brussels. Room was comfy and clean, and very quiet once in the room.
Amazing breakfast!
The room was outstanding - big, clean, well equipped
Staff were on a zombie mode...
Good beds, nice surroundings, great lounge, good location, great food.
A bit hot in lounge, a bit noisy one night.
- Good location - Great vibes and beer - Excellent staff
- Wifi only provided for 3 devices at a time - Lacking some amenities like toothbrushes
Great location and accommodation
Very nice hotel located next to good shopping area. The hotel was great as we had sn infant with ud. Great beds, great rooms and breakfast.
Large beds and rooms and great breakfast
Rooms are big, the bar area is cosy, gym is nice.
Breakfast could have been better, scrambled eggs were sludgy. The staff member of duty wouldnt give me an invoice, which is weird because i've been to this hotel numerous times and got an invoice. He said i had to contact booking.com.
Nice big rooms. Parking garage with EV charger for my car. In the middle of the center. Nice bar. Good showers and very nice staff.
The first floor rooms can be a bit noisy. Would be great if the TV has Netflix or some movie channel. WIFi can be a bit faster but its ok.
Quite rooms Nice bathroom Very friendly staff Good breakfast Clean Lounge area
For Pentahotel the interior was basic, quite big room but very basic, the bath was nice. The bed was comfortable, reception is fancy. Staff was nice, in the evening a bit stressed. For the price good, for Pentahotel average.
Brussels are very well known for its low value-for-money hotels. You have to pay an amount corresponding to a 5-star to get just 3 stars of services (hardly). Penta hotel is one of the few exceptions to this rule and I always try to book there everytime I visit Brussels. Very helpful staff and very good amenities in the room.
Same place as the meeting venue makes it very comfortable. Nice coffee break at the 8th floor, no limit of my preferred hot chocolate .
It took a while to warm up the room.
Atmosphere
A bit of smell in the corridor
liked the style, comfy bed, good breakfast
wait to check in was quite long
Excellent breakfast and good looking hotel :)
good location, cozy bar and lobby, maximum 3 stars
dont book room on first floor, too noisy.
The rooms are big and very clean, bed is very comfortable, breakfast is great, location is great
The corridor and the lobby are too dark since they are painted in black
food was very good. Price was ok. Not too expensive. Parking was little bit scary and very weird to go out but was also good. There was a charging port for people who use EV's.
Great breakfast, friendly staff and excellent bar area. Close by to great places to eat and the bed was enormous :) and comfy!
The listing advertised a pool, there is not a pool!
The room have not been ready even at 16-00.
This hotel is gorgeous. It's really quirky and all of the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our bed was huge and we had the best nights sleep in it.
It's a little far from the main square (maybe 20/25 mins) but not too far that you can't walk. Also if you're wanting breakfast, add it when you are booking as it is quite pricey when you go on the day (25€ pp) however when we looked, it did look good.
Amazing design and ambiance
The smell
Very clean, large bed and comfortable
It was cold and the AC working to heat the room was very annoying, could not sleep because of it. Cannot imagine dealing with it more than one night
The bar and food ( nice burger )
Location
Location was perfect
Lift broken earlier reviews showed the same before we went, breakfast was a challenge shortage of food and everyone was waiting around waiting.
The vibe of the lounge on the ground floor was cool. The shower was extra large and the bed comfortable (once we got hair-free sheets).
We stayed 4 nights and every day there was a new disappointment to be experienced. Only one elevator was working for the whole duration of the stay, so a lot of waiting time for all those, like us, who had to reach higher floors. The room had cracks on the wall, spider webs on the ceiling and we were horrified to discover a LOT of hair on the "fresh" bed sheets and pillows upon arrival. This took one hour to fix. The English channels worked every other day, we were told that the SAT system is a bit outdated... Bathroom: one day the shower floor towel was not provided, another day one of the fresh towels had long black hair and make up stains all over...how can the staff miss something like that! The wall of the bathroom was heavily stained and the hairdryer was connected to the bottom of the sink with a very short cable, so very uncomfortable to use. Breakfast, despite being a big buffet, was a continuous fight with all the other guests to get food, drinks and a place to sit. One day we risked to have our table taken while collecting our breakfast items from a French family who moved our stuff, very rude and inconsiderate! Additionally items that were empty took a long time to refill and the bacon and eggs coming directly from the kitchen were already mysteriously cold. The staff never smiled and when they did it was evidently forced. They appeared always busy and tense. This together with the lack of care in the setting up and cleanliness of the room suggests that the hotel is severely understaffed or that the staff does not receive proper training from the management. We will certainly not come back to pentahotel. A massive disappointment.
The bed was large and comfortable. Staff were friendly. We didn't have the breakfast, but it looked pretty comprehensive. The location is okay, depending on what you want to see - it's not really close to the old town, but is in the city and everything is reasonably walkable.
We chose this hotel over other options primarily because it offered parking and a gym. We were disappointed on both counts! The hotel does not provide parking - instead we were told to use the parking building next door that costs €18/day. While there is a gym, it's pretty useless unless you want to use the treadmill or some light dumbbells - it's very, very small, and pretty poorly equipped (I will never understand why and how hotels choose their gym equipment - this one has decided to invest in several giant machines dedicated to crunches and bicep curls rather than opting for something useful like a squat rack, leg press, multi-functional cable machine, or even an extra treadmill or other cardio machine).
Very hip, the breakfast was delicious.
The bar was pretty basic, short pours. I recommend wine or beer to get your money's worth.
Good breakfast Good coffee Big rooms
I like the hotel - all the staff are very friendly and the placement of the hotel is very very good.
Hello, When doing the reservation, I asked for a double queen bed. I ended up getting 2 separate beds which were not comfortable for my husband who has back problems. Kind regards.
Bar area, pool table and breakfast
The bar service was slow. Unfair to pay added cost for luggage storage on departure.
I loved the warm welcome from the staff. They made us feel right at home and provided a very swift check in. The staff was very friendly towards our dog. The beds are so incredibly big you could eaily fit 5 people in it.
The room was a little empty, there was not a lot of furniture in it. The bathroom could have been cleaner, there was some mould in the corners. The pictures make the place look more glamorous than it actually is.
I booked the trip for my boyfriends birthday and requested a double bed for our stay, upon arrival they had given us 2 separate beds and said there were no doubles available and that booking couldn’t be accurate. When I went down to order some room service as the rooms had no drinks menus, the lady on reception had awful customer service skills (I should know as I work in customer service). It gave an overal negative experience of our stay with the hotel, my partner has stayed there before which is why we chose it and he was also disappointed in the service as the time before he said it was amazing.
Very cool facilities, nice bar, nice resto.
Check in could be smoother
Good breakfast, but only if you stay for a short term - not vary much day-to-day.
Room with lift shared wall is a nightmare. We asked for change and other one was quiet enough.
Breakfast is ok, but for example hot water supply for tea should be better indicated on the machine, variety of jams is poor and croissants are too often all taken..
The facilities are too dark and the limited number of light bulbs are too blinding. One of the (only two!!) elevators was broken and not repaired in days, with sometimes lots of people waiting as a result. There is too much noise of people in and around the hotel. In addition, the continuous sound of sirenes in the street is annoying.
The style of hotel is fab and trendy!! Very clean and great place to stay I would highly recommend it and definitely visit again in future.

Great breakfast. Nice employees. Good location
Check in in the Middle of the bar. Kinda strange...
Good location, nearby to main metro and tram lines. The bar/restaurant was lovely and staff were great. Perfect base for exploring Brussels.
Whilst the hotel facilities and feel was faultless, the bedrooms were a little more basic. Our TV remote needed new batteries, the safe didn’t lock and the WiFi was a little intermittent.
Good location. Good breakfast. Interesting interior
The room was not clean enough. There was stains on the carpet, curtains and mold in the shower.
Great location, the service is almost perfect, very nice staff, good lobby. I won’t hesitate to go again.
The room is comfortable. The stuf is so helpfull even when i had a problem with my car they helped me.
It wasn't clear from the beginning that we have to pay extra parking
Perfect location. Great decor and nice bar and lounge in the main lobby area. They have a pool table if anyone is into that. I love the purple lights. I stayed for the weekend so it was quite busy at the bar. Everyone working there was fabulous except one person.
Upon check-in I was granted a late check out at 3 PM. The receptionist told me that it was free of charge. However on the day of my check out, one worker named “Anas” was very rude to me. Not only did he call my room several times but he insisted that I should’t have been granted this for free. He told me normally you would have to pay for a late check out. But when I checked their actual website it says you can get a free check out until 3 PM on Sundays. I travel 75% of the year and I have never experienced this kind of treatment.
It was not the first time I stayed at this marvelous place
The atmosphere in the lobby/restaurant/bar/lounge. The mix of all this I liked.
For 4star it would be ideal if it had saunas
The bar area very warm and comfortable
Spacious room, cool bar
Wifi, location pretty far from center
I like the location
Nice hotel good location staff were responsive
There was a problem with the Hot water
staff are friendly and co-operative
the rooms are not sound proof and electric connection are not near the bed,
all the staff friendly and fully co-operative
the rooms are not sound proof
Dobry
Lokalizacja i wyposazenie pokoju.
Brudny recznik.
Obszerne, świetnie urządzone lobby i sale wspólne: dużo miejsca, przytulne zakątki. Niezwykle miły, uśmiechnięty, zawsze chętny do pomocy personel. Bardzo funkcjonalne umeblowanie pokoju. Doskonałe śniadania, wygodna restauracja.
